Jerry staggered back in fear for his life as Neil moved closer to him, “Does it still sound like a bluff to you?” Neil asked and stopped.

“Take that away, this isn’t funny Neil,” Jerry uttered in panic as Neil kept a straight face and there is a possibility he is going to pull the trigger.

“Will you shut your mouth now or I shut it for you?” Neil asked and he nodded fearfully.

“Words!” Neil growled. “I will shut up, I will be invisible,” he aligned with his orders.

“Good,” Neil smiled and returned the gvn to his pocket.

“Why in fuçk name do you carry that around?!” Jerry freaked.

“Because of looser,” he replied and made eye contact with him. “Like you.”

“I ain’t a looser,” Jerry muttered. “Speaking to me?” Neil asked.

“Nah, I dare not do that,” he forced a smile. “Good, I am glad you are starting to know where you belong,” Niel said and walked towards the dining table.

“What’s for dinner?” He asked but got no response, he turned to face Jerry who was still in shock at Neil’s new behavior.

“I asked what you prepared for dinner,” Neil repeated angrily.

“Dinner?” Jerry furrowed his brows as though the word was strange to his

“I didn’t speak in Portuguese Jerry!” He snapped.

“Oh, yeah sorry, I prepared pasta. It’s in the kitchen,” He said.

“You don’t expect me to get it myself, do you?” Neil asked.

“No… No, I don’t, have a sit while I get your meal,” Jerry rushed his words and dashed into the kitchen.

“It’s nice when you are in charge,” Neil smiled and rubbed his beardless jaw fondly.

Jerry served him dinner and hurried to his room not wanting to get on Neil’s bad side or he might lose his head.

Romina walked out of the conference hall to meet Steve and Nina having a conversation.

“Hey guys,” she waved as she approached them and they both turned to face her.

“How was the meeting?” Steve inquired. “Good,” she replied simply.

“You can go home Nina, I’m going to do the same,” she said.

“See you tomorrow, Romina,” she said and turned to face Steve. “Bye Steve.”

“So, what was it we were saying?” Romina asked Steve as they walked away.

“You should go home,” Steve said and she smiled.

“I will once I’m done,” she replied. “And I can listen to you in my little spare time.”

“You should work and head home,” he said.

“But..” He placed his finger on her lip. “No, but, get some rest,” he placed a kiss on her forehead and strolled away.

Romina walked away too but in another direction, she hummed a song as she entered her office.

She sat on her chair in front of the laptop and started typing something. She picked a file and checked some things, made some corrections, and kept the files with the other.

She finished what she was doing on her laptop and stood up, she picked up her bag and brought out her phone.

She dialed Nanny Gloria’s number and placed the phone on her ear as she walked out of the office.

“Hey nanny,” she uttered as nanny Gloria picked up. “Are the twins there?”

“Yes, we are about to have dinner,” Nanny Gloria answered.

“Okay, tell them I’ll be home shortly,” Romina said and hang up.

Romina held two shopping bags as she walked into the mansion.

“Aunt!” The twins screamed and ran into her arms. “You guys had a fun day,” Romina said.

“Only I had a fun day, Diana slept throughout the day,” Draco answered.

“Draco!” Elias called warningly behind them. “It’s the truth,” he grumbled.

“Well sleep or not I had fun because granny put me to bed,” she smiled and gave Mrs. Zaragoza a thumbs up.

“Oh,” that was all that came out of Romina’s mouth since she was bewildered, she thought her mom would be cold towards everyone except Neil.

“How was your day too?” Draco asked snapping Romina out of her deep thoughts.

“Amazing, I signed a deal and went on a lunch date,” she told them.

“Lunch date?!” Elias exclaimed behind them.

“Yeah,” she replied. The twins smiled at the awkwardness in the air and Draco tapped Romina gently.

“What’s in the shopping bag?” Draco asked. “Thanks for reminding me, these are for you,” she pulled the bah closer.

“Him? What about me?” Diana pouted sadly. “You look ugly,” Draco mocked her facial expression and she h!t him with her little fist

“Diana!” Romina called. “He started it,” she defended herself.

“My dear,” Mrs. Zaragoza called and squat beside her, she tuck her hair behind her ear. “Violent is never the answer, you should have ignored him not h!t him.”

Everyone was amazed especially Romina, her mom is slowly becoming her old self but it is sad that she still doesn’t remember her.

“I am sorry Draco,” Diana apologized. “I am sorry too,” Draco replied.

“Good, now let’s see what your aunt bought for you,” Mrs. Zaragoza turned to face Romina who stared at her with her jaw dropped.

“Aunt Romina,” Diana’s tiny voice brought her back. “Sorry…. This is for you,” she gave one of the bags to Diana.

“And this is for you,” the other to Draco.

“Thank you so much!” They screamed and ran to the couch to check out what was bought for them

Elias was surprised they appreciated her despite being oblivious to the package.

They would have rejected the gift if it was from Iris, it is still a puzzle to him that they love Romina despite meeting her a few weeks ago.

They have known Iris for years but they never loved her, they weren’t the only ones affected he is in love with Romina too.

“Hey,” Romina tap him and he smiled. “My gift?” He asked with his palm open.

“Adults don’t receive gifts randomly,” she said and he smiled.

“This is cool!” Draco screamed out of excitement, Romina bought her collections of the avenger’s robots with remote control.

With the remote Draco can make them fight each other.

“And this is much cooler,” Diana uttered beside him as she lifted a robot that talked.

“Hey, my name is Gina what’s yours?” The robot asked. “Diana Del Vera,” Diana replied and all attention was on her.

“Del Vera, that must be your last name. I am your friend my name will be Gina Del Vera,” Gina said.

“Cool, this is like having a baby sister,” Diana said.

“Except you can’t bath or feed her, she is chargeable. Her charger should be in the shopping bag,” Romina uttered behind her.

“Thanks very much, aunt,” Diana appreciated. “Me too aunt, I love this thanks,” Draco appreciated.

“That looks like a mini-me, and Diana you,” Fiona blurted. “That’s right,” nanny Gloria agreed.

“Time to go home kids,” Elias clapped his hand and murmured.

“Come on, on your feet,” he said. “Say goodbye to aunt Romina and Granny.”

“Bye, thanks for this again,” they uttered in unison reluctantly.

“Bye, be good kids okay,” Romina said and they nodded.

“Wait!” Mrs. Zaragoza screamed and they turned to face her. “They can spend the night here and head home tomorrow morning,” she said.

“No, that would be a bother and I don’t want to bother you,” Elias said. “We not going to cause trouble, we will behave ourselves,” Diana assured

“Let them stay over,” Nanny Gloria said too. “Please, let’s stay,” Draco and Diana turned to Elias with a cute faces.

“But they have nothing to wear,” he said.

“We will shop for new clothes tomorrow,” Romina replied.

“Let’s stay here!” They screamed in unison and Elias raised his hand in surrender.

“Fine, you two can stay here,” he said and they dashed towards the stairs dragging the shopping bags behind them.

“Be careful kids,” Romina screamed. “I will go with them,” Fiona said.

“Me too,” Mrs. Zaragoza followed.

“Is it just I or mom is acting weird… Like her real self,” Romina uttered and turn to face Nanny Gloria.

“You are right, I believe she will regain her memories soon,” Romina uttered excitedly.

“I should go home,” Elias said. “Huh, don’t leave yet,” Nanny Gloria said and walked towards him, she pulled him to the couch and made him sit.

“Have something to drink before you leave,” she said and went into the kitchen.

“Hey,” Romina smiled and went to sit beside him.

“So you went on a lunch date,” Elias muttered. “Yes, with a friend,” she replied.

There was an awkward silence, Elias felt this anger build up in the depth of his stomach as he imagined what happened at the date.

“Here you go,” Nanny Gloria said and gave them two glasses of juice.

“Was the friend a girl or boy?” Elias asked as soon as nanny Gloria disappeared into the kitchen.

“A boy,” she answered.

“I love you Romina,” Elias confessed and Romina dropped the cup.
