I am just so in shock, Jasper had a alot of explanation to do and if what i saw is true,I’ll never forgive him.
“Jace,I want to do this,Inflitrating into King Damian’s palace will kill two birds with one stone,I’ll stage as one of the palace maids while you as the Palace guard,I’ll find out if this marriage thing is true and you’ll find out how to set our people free”
“Hazel, You must think with your head and not your heart,You musn’t act on impulse and make sure you don’t get caught”
“Jace,I’ll be fine, please take care of yourself too,You have a beautiful daughter and girlfriend to take care of,Be careful”
We hugged each other, then went different ways.
I stood at the entrance of the palace,Two guards were guarding the gate.
“Who are you and what are you looking for?”
“Um..my name is Bella and am the new maid” i smiled nervously hoping that they’ll believe me.
“Alright,Go in..Madam Clarissa is waiting for you” They let me in,Am guessing Madam Clarissa is the head of maids.
I got in and so many maids were cleaning, decorating, Everybody was practically doing something.
“Hey,are you the new maid?” A girl wearing a maid’s uniform.
“Yes,My name is Bella,am the new maid”
“Come with me, Madam Clarissa is waiting for you”
She dragged me along to the kitchen area,A woman in her fifties was yelling out orders to everyone.
“Ma’am,The new maid is here” She looked at me from head to toe.
“I thought you’d be fatter but it’s better this way,Quick go help wash the dishes”
I was pushed to the area where everyone was washing dishes.
I joined them but my mind was still on Jasper.
“Oh,Have you seen the prince? He’s so handsome” A particular maid spoke up.
“Yeah,I would give anything to have just one night with him, He’s so handsome,Princess Selena is so lucky”
I tried so hard not to roll my eyes at what they were saying, Jasper is all mine, He’s my husband and no one will take him from me.
We were finally done with the dishes and honestly my hands were killing me.
“The Prince needs some grapes, Someone needs to go to give him in his room”
The maids became super excited,I even saw one of them pull their g0wns to make their cle@vage open.
“You,the new maid,You go give him” Ahe pointed at me, The other maids were already giving me deadly glares, They don’t know that he’s my husband.
“Um..Okay” I collected the plates of grapes to Jasper’s room,I was let in by the guards.
I got into the room, Jasper was backing me,He was shirtless and he was.. smoking.
“Um..My Prince,I brought your grapes”
“Put it on the table and leave” He still wasn’t facing me.
“No,I want to watch you eat it”
“Excuse me” He faced me,He looked angry.
“Who do think you are to tell me that you want to watch me eat?”
“Who do you think you are to yell at me?”
He held my elbow tightly and shaking me very hard.
I yanked the necklace my mom gave me off my neck and i came back to my real self,His eyes soften immediately.
“Hazel?”
“Yes, It’s me,Prince Jasper”
“How..how did you get here? I didn’t even recognize you”
“It’s this necklace,it changes your appearance”
He tried to hug me but i pushed him away.
“Don’t hug me,You dumbass,I can’t believe you are getting married”
“How do you know about that?”
“The posters are outside, Jasper how could you?” I kept hitting him on his chest.
“And you are even smoking?” I pointed to the cigarette in his hand,He immediately threw it away.
“Babe, It’s not what you think,My dad is completely crazy in the head”
“What happened?”
“When we got back,He locked my mom and Alicia up and now he is forcing me to get married to Selena.
He hasn’t let me see Alicia and my mom in a week,Am sure he’s molesting my mom and he wants to send Alicia to another kingdom”
“What? That’s cr@zy”
“I know, We need to stop him,He has all your people as slaves,He gets them beaten and starves them”
“That’s why we are here, to free our people”
“We?”
“Yes,Jace and i,We back here to save them but now,the plan has changed”
“Meaning?”
“Meaning we’ll get your mom and Alicia out of here and my people wil be free,Then we’ll get out of here for good”
