Episode 24

Dylan’s Pov

I couldn’t go in…
I just allowed Alfred take Sylvia inside instead…
I couldn’t go in…
I couldn’t face her…

I don’t know why but…
I just choose to stay back in the car and wait for them to come out.

I don’t know why I feel so uncomfortable seeing her..

I just don’t…
If I say that I wasn’t hurt by her mood last night then I’m lying.

I think I’m definitely gonna die one day…and when I do? Maybe that’s when she’ll finally notice all the feelings I have for her.

I’m in love with Katelyn!!!

I sighed and rested my back on the car chair….

Just then Katelyn came out of the gate and she had Sylvia with her…

? Katelyn’s Pov ?

I hugged her so tightly and we both laughed happily in each other’s arms…

“I’m so happy to see you mummy….” She said and I laughed.

“I’m happy to see you too baby…look at you…you’ve grown taller in just a week….I bet you’ve finished the whole food in Granny’s store room…” I teasted and she laughed loudly… Alfred joined her.

I brushed the front part of her hair with my fingers and stood up..

“Good morning Kate” Alfred greeted

“Hi Good morning” I replied and gave him a side hug…

“Did you bring her here??”
I asked and we disentangle from the hug.

“Uhm Well we did… Dylan and I” He smiled.

“Dylan??… where’s he then? Did he go somewhere after dropping you guys off??”

He laughed lightly

“No he’s outside…he asked me to take Sylvia in and that he’ll catch up”

He replied and I kept mute…

He’s outside??
Why??
It’s the first time I’m hearing he doesn’t want to come in with Sylvia…

Ohhhh..
Wait??
About that…
Was it about last night??
Don’t tell me he is mad??

“Katelyn??” Alfred called and touched my shoulder..
“Huh?”

“I asked where Becky was??” He said and I shook the thought off…

“Uhmm oh.. she’s… she’s inside” I replied and he nodded.

“I’ll go see her…. excuse me” He said and tried going in…

“Hmmm?” I cleared my throat and he stopped.

“What??….I’m just going to say hi” He rolled his eyes and I laughed.

“I didn’t even ask Alfred” I spread my hands apart.

“Arugh! I’m not letting you tease me Katelyn” He said and went in quickly…. Sylvia and I laughed.

“Come on let’s go out so I can say hi to Dylan” I said and held her hand

“So tell me… How’s Mum?”

“She’s good….she sent so many ksses to you” Sylvia replied and I gasped with a smile

“Oh really were are the ksses?”

“I’ll only give it to you after you’ve gotten me a box of chocolate” He replied and I laughed.

Oh Sylvia….

We got out the gate and saw him through the car glass…

Oh he’s really outside…

He saw us and came out of the car…

He was looking really cute in his all blue appearance…

His hair was styled and a little part of it covered his left brows.

He smiled lightly and walked closer to us.

“Good morning” I greeted and he nodded.

“How was your night?”

“Good yours?”

“Very well thanks…” He said and cleared his throat…

“Don’t you wanna come in??” I asked and he sighed…

“I was gonna before you came out” He replied and inserted his hands inside his trouser pocket.

Hmm he sounded weird…

“Sylvia? Why not go inside and stay with Becky and Alfred… we’ll join you soon okay” I said to her.

She nodded,, waved at Dylan and ran in…

I turn back to him and caught him staring out to space.

“Dylan… About last night…”

“No please don’t let us talk about it….” He cut in and I flinched.

Wahh??

He sighed and came close to me…He held my hands and stare at my face.

“I know the guy from yesterday was Sylvia’s dad and that you still feel something for him but…. don’t worry… I’ll wait… I’m ready whenever you’re ready Katelyn…”

He said and I felt like melting…

Aww
He’s so cute
He’s always understanding…..
I smiled but it fadded when something niggled me …

Sylvia’s Dad??

“Uhmm Dylan…that wasn’t Sylvia’s dad” I said and he mouthed an “Oh”
I laughed and held his hand again…

“Leo is just a close friend that’s all” I added.

“Really?”

“Yes… come on Let’s go inside…they might be gossiping about us” I whispered and he laughed lightly.
