CHAPTER 24
Frenchie stood up when Gary came in, she immediately followed him into his office with a book in her hands
“Morning sir”
“Morning Mrs.” He turned to her with a quizzical expression
“What’s you name again?” He asked
“Sofia Frenchie Montero sir” Frenchie replied
Gary clicked his finger winking at her, Frenchie scoffed invisibly
“Noted” he sat on his desk and Frenchie went closer
“What’s my schedule for today?” Gary asked and Frenchie glanced at her book
“Not much, you’ll be having a meeting by 12pm with the board members along with Mr. Zane and Mr. Kai”
“Okay” Gary nodded staring at the files on his desk
“And you’ll be having a trip to Mexico in the days time, apart these there’s no more on your schedule sir” Frenchie said closing the book
“Are you sure?” Gary stared at her from the glass he was wearing
Frenchie immediately opened the book and ran her eyes through it again
“You also have an appointment with Mr. Kai apparently in a club”
“Yea, Zane’s to busy taking care of his injured little wifey, he won’t be able to come”
Frenchie only nodded
“That’ll be all” Gary said
“Alright sir” Frenchie bowed and left.
She went back to her desk and sat down biting her lips
“He’s even more easier than I imagined, this’ll be fun”.

The butler opened the door and bowed, Zane came in with Annalise, he held a bag on one hand and assisted Annalise with the other
Cassandra who had been in the sitting room with Smith {Annalise dad} stood up running to them in her heels without difficulty
“Oh my poor baby”
“I’m fine ma’am” Annalise said with a little smile
“Call me mom, you’re my daughter now” Cassandra said
“Alright Mom”
Smith exhaled deeply slowly walking to them
“Anna” he called softly and be Annalise scoffed mockingly
“You finally remembered you have a daughter”
“I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping in touch, I’ve just been….”
“Busy, I know” Annalise rolled her eyes
“It’s not as if I’ll pick up anyway” she muttered
“Mom, she needs rest” Zane said and Cassandra nodded giving them some space
Zane took Annalise upstairs and the butler trailed behind them, he arranged pillows and made sure it was soft before Zane laid Annalise on it, resting her head on the pillow
“You’re really not going to tell me?” Zane asked after the butler left
“I want….” Zane held her mouth
“I’m not going to let you deceive me for the second time, you already had chicken this morning and ice cream on our way here” Zane said and Lisa pouted
“How are you able to eat that much and still remain tiny” Zane asked and Annalise glared at him
“Don’t mock me, I’ll only tell you if you get me a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs with a bottle of soda”
“Tell me first” Zane argued and Annalise took a deep breath
“It was the CEOs”
“Sorry what?”
