CHAPTER 29
Annalise gasped fearfully looking up at Zane who ran his hand through his hair, he pointed at three boys who were standing around
“Take them in and call the doctor”
“Yes boss” they bowed and ran to Charlotte and her friends, they ivjed them up and took them in
Annalise faced Zane worriedly, Zane who knew what was on her mind sighed
“They won’t die if that’s what you’re thinking about” Zane said
“But wouldn’t they…” Zane placed his index finger on her lips
“Let me worry about that” he said and she nodded
“Why would you be feeling remorse after wanting them like that?”
“Wanting and seeing just hits different” Annalise pouted and Zane shook his head
“But how were you able to make them like that?” Annalise asked but Zane ignored her walking inside with his long legs
“Hey wait for me” she ran and caught up with him holding his arms again.
Lately since the incident she had been feeling too clingy and obsessive, Zane noticed it too and for some reason unknown he loves the feel of it
He too felt like he couldn’t say no to her anymore, he wasn’t that cold to her and he felt like he needed her more closer.

“What were you doing that you almost got fired?!” Lex thundered
“But I wasn’t” Frenchie said back
He stood up and threw a slap across her face angrily
“You dare talk back at me you skinny bch!”
Frenchie glared at him and he sI.apped her again
“The guts to glared at me” Lex laughed loudly like a maniac
“Fine I’ll let you because you’re already in but wait for your punishment”
Frenchie swallowed, she couldn’t believe she had to go through all these because of her cowardly father, she spat in her mind, that disgusting being!
“I’m sorry” she muttered, apologizing to two people within hours was really some event
“Just get out of my sight” Lex said sitting down and Frenchie walked out..

Charlotte fluttered her eyes open slowly, they felt heavy and the morning light felt sharp and bright, she scanned her eyes through the environment and immediately sat up when she noticed she was in her room
“Sweetie, are you up?, Are you okay?” She heard her mom’s voice and she turned to her
“Mom?” She called and her mom smiled sadly nodding
“Are you alright?” Her mom asked
Charlotte nodded smiling
“I’m fine now”
“What happened to you?, Some men came with you when I asked them what happened they told me to ask you”
“Uhh… I had an accident” Charlotte replied and her mom gasped
“When?, How did it happen?, Emma and Olivia’s parents called and said same thing happened to them too”
“It was an accident we had being in while coming from the mall mom” Charlotte lied and her mom nodded
“But you’re alright, that’s what matters now, are you hungry?”
Charlotte wanted to say no but that would make her mom more worried so she nodded smiling
“Yes, I’m really hungry what did you make?”
“Your favourite, I knew you would be hungry immediately you woke up, lemme get it for you, do not stand up” her mom said and rushed out, Charlotte kept smiling.
