Few minutes…………
I sat on the hospital bed, beside lily and held her hand softly, Ryan just stood resting his back on the wall
“There’s no improvement” Ryan said
I held lily hand and watch as she lay on the hospital bed with an oxygen on her nose
I held her hand that’s filled with bruises, her entire body is filled injury, the doctors are treating the bruise
“Baby how’s the Rodriguez family??” My mom asked
“Everything is fine” I replied
“No discrimination or anything” she said
“Everything is fine” I said
“Mom everything is not fine at all, that family is filled with drama” Ryan said and I pinch him on his arm
“Hey I’m sorry………..I’m just saying the truth” he winced.
“Lila everything is not fine there, stop pretending as if you are okay when you are not” my mom said
I bow my head, I don’t want her to know about everything, threat calls I receive and Alex’s mom cause it’s gonna sadden her heart, mom is an emotional person that cry easily
“Mom I will be sincere with you everything is not fine, I’m not okay, his family especially his mom trying to make life miserable for me……… for example this morning I bump into Trinity Alex stepbrother wife, I bump into her and the glass cup she was holding broke into pieces……”
“Then Alex mom arrive at the scene started saying bullsht, that I should leave her son alone and it’s not like I wanna be in that family, my present condition made me do it……….. instead of Alex to caution his mom, he’s now trying to put the blame on me and I told him not to blame me instead caution his mom” I said
“Lila his family are influential so expect discrimination and so many other things from them……..I trained you to be a good girl so please show that your good girl side to them, anything his mom do to you please just overlook it” my mom said
“Delilah people are born to annoy and frustrate people’s life, their only job on this earth is to make life miserable for people so please see his mom as one of them, I just want you to overlook whatever she say or do to you” Ryan said and smiled at me
“His family is not perfect”
“So Lila please respect his mom not matter what she say or do to you” my mom said
“If you guys say so”
A notification sound pop in, I check my phone to see 5 messages from an unknown number
? Hey bçh leave Alex alone
? A seducer
? Alex is not meant for you……….. he’s meant for Rachael
? You better divorce Alex if you don’t wanna loose someone important
? Fk you bçh……..
I read the message……..I just switch off my phone, another threat message again
“I want to go and see Alex” I said
“Why??” Ryan asked
“I have something important to tell him” I replied
“Let me tag along” he said
I hug my mom, kss her cheek and kss lily forehead before walking out of the hospital
I swear I can’t really wait for my 60 days in Rodriguez house to be over, I can’t wait for Lily to wake up
We entered Alex office, Gwen, Steve and pete are outside waiting for us.
I saw a girl or should I say a bitçh putting on a red gown that barely cover her laps and the bbs is exposing
“Alex are you really gonna dump me for that riffraff” she said aloud.
Alex stood in front of her slapping his forehead, looking frustrated
“Velvet we’re done with this discussion” he said
“What’s going on” Ryan said
The velvet girl turn around, she saw me then point her long finger at me
“You bitçh……. you’re the reason why he’s dumping me” she yelled angrily
“Hey don’t feature me in your annoying drama” I said
“Shut up bçh” she yelled
The next thing she did was………….. she start pulling my hair pretty hard, I pull her hair too
“Hey bçh let go of my hair” I yelled
“I won’t until he accept me back” she yelled back
I pulled her hair angrily, she wince in pain……….she let go of my hair and I drag her around the office making sure I pull the hair pretty hard
I let go of her………I pushed her slightly and she fell on the floor hitting her butt hard on the tiles
“I told you never to involve me in your drama” I said
She smirk “Lila don’t feel special just because he is married to you, he’s gonna dump you when he’s done using you……….. he’s just trying to help your wretched family” she said
I don’t know when I bounce on her pulling her hair pretty hard
“Lila let go of her” Alex said
He carried me up pulling me away from velvet, he carried me on his shoulder and walk out of the office
“Ryan please take care of velvet”
“Alex let go of me let me teach this girl a lesson” I yelled
I can take everything but I won’t take it lightly if you insult my background and family, say ill or backbite about them………….I won’t tolerate it
The whole Alex Rodriguez carry me on his shoulder…….. his hands mistakenly brush my soft butt and I gasp, pervert
“That was a mistake” he muttered silently
He reach the hospital rooftop and drop me down and I sigh heavily
“Alex you’re free to have flings but please don’t involve me” I said and flip my hair backward
“Lila I’m not dating velvet…………….I’m done with her since” he said
“All this shit won’t have happened only if you stop being a player” I said
“Lila you have no right to tell me that bullsht………. stop acting like you know me very well” he half yelled
“That’s your problem Alex, you get angry easily and you don’t like it if someone tells you truth……….. learn to stick to one girl and stop causing trouble for me” I said
“I’m not causing any trouble”
“I receive a threat calls and messages everyday from your flings…….is that not trouble, they are even involving my innocent sister……..Alex clean your mess and don’t you ever feature me”
“What are you saying?” He said
“If you don’t understand then forget about it” I said and walking away leaving him alone on the rooftop
I open the door and I saw Ryan staring at me, he has this care and concern look on his face
“Is everything ok?” He asked
I don’t know when I fell on his arm, I hug him really tight crying my eyes out, I wrap my hands around his waist, holding his shirt
“I’m here for you………..” He said as he sooth my long hair
“Ryan I’m not okay”
“I know……… your sister in coma, Ryan family drama and now velvet drama…………. everything is just too much tho you cover your pains with your beautiful smile, don’t cry no more I’m here for you”
“I love you”
