The next day…………..
Lila pov
The next day I get prepared for school, Alex already left home early and as usual we ignored each other
He acted as if nothing happened yesterday, the drama and everything……………I acted as if nothing happened between us………I can’t believe I told him about the threat calls and messages, I already said I won’t tell him anything but yesterday anger………I just let my emotions control my words and movement.
I was about to walk downstairs when a beautiful maid approach me, she should be in her early twenties
“Good morning Miss Lila” she said and bow
“Good morning ma’am” I greet and bow
“They must not see you bowing for me” she said
“You are older than me so I need to show you some respect” I said
“I don’t want that……..you are my boss” she said
“You’re older than me so let me respect you……….any problem”
“Mr Rodriguez wanna see you” she said
“Which one??” I asked
“Mr Alex father” she replied
“Yo Lila Thompson” I heard an unfamiliar voice and I glance at the stairs to see a handsome dude climbing the stairs
He’s putting on a blue velvet clothe, the complete set with a blue foamy bedroom slippers
“Good morning sir Harry” the maid said and bow
“You can go I will handle the situation from here” he said and she walk out
“Who are you???”
“Alex step brother……….. Harris twin brother” he replied
“This family is really wide with different specialities………..any problem”
“Where are you going to??” He asked
“School…..I have test today” I replied
“Nail it sister-in-law” he said and wink at me
“I need to see Mr Rodriguez before going to school” I muttered silently
I nod my head as I slowly turn away and start walking to James Rodriguez room.
I can hear the sound of his movement, is he really following me or what???
I knock on the glass door and it open automatically, this is technology……..Yuri thing
I entered the room and I saw the man on the bed, a white duvet covering his lower body
“Good morning sir” I greet
“Harry any problem” James said and Harry shrug
“Nothing Dad………..I’m here to take my wrist watch” he replied
“Lila you ready for school” James said
“Yes sir”
I still like this man, I prefer him than his wife Georgia, this man does not care about my background he’s free with me and treat me like his daughter but his wife Georgia is the doing the reverse……… always making sure she ruin my mood and day, making sure she make my life miserable in this house
“Don’t cause any trouble or scandal today…………..you and your husband, learn to minimize your craziness” he said and I chuckled
He smiled at me, is this man really sick cause he doesn’t look like a sick man to me
The door open and Isabel walked in having this disappointed look on his face
“Dad I need a new driver” she said with her tiny voice
“So there’s no greeting”
“Everyone good morning” she said and bow
“So now you can tell me your complains” James said
“Dad my personal driver is sick so I told him to rest for some days but who’s gonna take me to school” she said and pout her lip like a baby
“Isabel I will get another driver for you which will make it two” James said
“But what about today……….Lila can you please drop me off at school” she said
“Your lovely brother will do that” I said and point at harry who’s trying to run out of the room
Isabel ran and jump on his back holding him pretty tight smiling him.
“Please drop me off at school I promise not disturb you again” Isa said
“Try to change your statement, this was the same statement you said to me last time” harry said
He held her properly as he piggyback her like a baby and she kinda like it
“I love you bro” she said
“Okay fine I will do it only if you agree to help me too” he said.
“I’m ready bro…… that’s a deal” Isabel said
“I will get going” I said
“Have fun our lovely brother-in-law” I said dragging the last word, I wink at him and walk out of the room smiling
I guess he totally different from his j.erk brother Harris who only care about this two words; ‘Sx and money’
Then nothing else
Soon I arrive at school, we’re having combined class English test
I sat on the chair as I rub my hands nervously, so lily is not gonna write test with me, first time I will write my test without Lily beside me to calm my nervousness, I glance at the empty seat beside me
The teacher drop the paper on my table and went to stand infront of the podium
“You have one hour to answer those questions……start”
I stare at the question in front of me, I start ticking the answer and explain the meaning too.
And within thirty minutes I was done, I don’t really waste time on my test, I was about to stand up that’s when Ryan stood up and went to submit his paper then walk out
?? He’s really smart
??Lila rival
?? Is he a robot
?? He’s handsome and also smart
I slowly stood up from the chair and went to submit my paper
??Is Lily gonna miss the test
??I heard she’s in coma
??Poor Lily
??Lila and her robot brain
“Thank you” I mumble and walk out of the classroom
