Ellen’s POV
“And I’m sure you know that the wedding is this Saturday and you’ll attend”. He told me.
“I’m the bride, why won’t I come?”. I asked.

“Because you once said that If we ever get married, you’ll never show up on our wedding day and I don’t want to be embarrassed”. He said and I chuckled.

“Look Myles, you’re not the cutest or most handsome man in America not even in the world”. I reminded and he frowned.
“If you make me angry, I’m going to cancel the wedding”. He said.

Fool!… Who was he threatening???. “I’m going to cancel the wedding”. I mimicked.

“Your wedding gown has been burnt”. Cindy said almost in tears as she walked slowly to me.??

“How??.. what happened?”. I asked almost crying.
“Someone burnt it”. She said as people gathered in front of the party…. My gown was there unrecognizable…

“My gown”. I screamed and tried to go back but Myles dragged me back.??
“Leave the gown, I’ll get a new one”. He said.

“I spent so much on that gown, I and Cindy made an expensive lie on that gown, I fell trying to get that gown”. I said… “I even….”

“Shut up Ellen”. He screamed and dropped my hand as I descended to the floor.

“Do you love me?”. He asked and my eyes blinked surprised and shocked.

“I don’t”. I replied and he got angry.

“Tell me the truth Ellen because if you do, you won’t value the wedding gown”. He said.

I saw her coming from the stairs so I quickly ran in front of her…

She cut in. “Of course… It’s me… Your wedding gown needed a few designs so I designed it for the all world to see”. She said and I chuckled slowly.??
“What did I do to deserve all this?”. She asked.??
“Nothing…. Sometimes I love it when I punish people”. I replied.

“You’re a devil”. She said and was about going when I dragged her back.??

“Let me give you something to hold on to because it might be your last advice… Don’t show up on your wedding day?”. She said and left

It’s time for your speech… Miss Ellen Quentin”. One of the coordinators said.
“Ok”. I said and followed him to the podium and they started clapping.

“I’m Miss Ellen Quentin and I’m inviting you to my wedding this Saturday and uh… I just want to say thank you to my future husband… Mr Myles Horace… It all happened when he proposed to me on Monday, I was so overwhelmed with joy and pride…
