“Catherine..?!!”

She blinked her eyes repeatedly in complete shock and surprise

Their eyes were still locked and Cathy could see the obvious surprise written all over her face

Catherine said nothing but continued staring

“What’s going on.. you.. you are dead already” Claribel stuttered moving backwards in bits

“Arrrgh..” Roxanne’s painful yelp came again and her blood kept dripping from her mouth

She sighted Catherine and was shocked also, she smirked

“You still didn’t d!e huh..?!” She gathered her strength and managed to speak, sounding so weak though as she sat on the tarred road, feeling life slowly leaving her

As bad as Cathy intended to reply, the unbearable pains from her tummy wouldn’t let her.

She only kept staring like a complete fo.ol.

She tried standing up but realised she couldn’t, instead she fell back and Claribel found herself catching her before she could fall, despite the shock

“Claribel..” Catherine muttered

Clarry’s eyes widened broadly with a gasp

What!!!!!!!!

“I’m dying..” Cathy said again before Claribel could even say a word, as her bI.ood from her tummy stained her cloth

Claribel was oblivious of what to do or think next

Like..!!

IT WAS LIKE A DREAM!!

“Is she truly Cathy and not a ghost?!

Wait.., what if this is a setup?!

Then who did we bury?!

Many questions ran across her mind and she could not find an answer to even a single one

She stared at Roxanne as her gaze landed on her,

She definitely can’t leave without her.. else, her escaping is sure

“What the h’ll am I gonna do!!

“Jessica?” Harold called in surprise, rushing to her immediately as she hiccuped repeatedly amidst her tears

“Jessica..?” He called again and she continued crying

“Com’on what’s wrong” he snapped curiously as he tried searching her eyes for an answer but found none..

“Would you cope without me?!” She found her self saying as she stopped crying for a while

“Why asking such question, what’s going on” he asked quickly

“Can you ever cope without me Harold” she said, staring deep into his ocean coloured eyes like she was searching for an answer in it

“Of course not, why do you ask” He said and immediately she held his right palm

“My mum got us an apartment, so we’ll be leaving here soon” she said , hiccuping

“What?!” He gasped

“Why.. when.. how?!” He said in a rush

“I sincerely don’t understand, she informed me just now” she said

Harold heaved a deep sigh in silence for the first few seconds,

“What gonna happen now..?, are you going to leave with her, he said with a glimpse of fear obvious in his voice

She shook her head sideways, hiccuping like an infant

“Com’on stop crying” he said with a sigh, pulling her into a tight hug, as he patted her back slowly

“No one is gonna take you anywhere okay?” He said and she nodded, wetting his clothes with her tears

They broke the hug a few minutes later

“I think we have to tell them..” he said confidently

She sniffed and furrowed her brows in confusion

“Tell them about?…” She said slowly, picking her words one by one

“I mean.. about our relationship, we really can’t keep this to ourselves any longer.

We have to tell them we’ve been dating for sometime now” he said.
