Chapter 57

She finished packing her things into the big box and wiped the tears that were threatening to fall.. she rolled the bag behind her, heading towards the door

She turned, taking one more glance at the room

“I should have known you’re just using me.. how can I be this stup¡d” she cried more and sniffed, her eyes were now red and swollen

She curled her fingers around the door knob, twisting it slowly.. it opened and its creaking sound followed

She passed by Andrea’s room and sighed, attaching a letter to the door

She left immediately

Lady Ann came out of the kitchen, her eyes widened in shock

“Clari…”

“Good bye!” Claribel bluntly cut her short and left

Ann instantly removed her little cellphone from her apron, dialing Cathy’s number instantly

It was switched off, she sighed tightening her fists on the phone

“She’s leaving..?!”

“Claribel you can’t do this okay, think about Alex, she grew fond of you already… How do you expect her to feel when she returns and discover you’ve gone, please…” Dylan rushed to her, trying hard to make her change her mind

Claribel jerked his hands off her and she turned to me

“I don’t care about anything okay!”, stay away from me” she retorted sharply fighting back her tears

“It’s unbearable, I’m nothing but a tool to toy with to them, there’s no point remaining here then” she said in her head and left the mansion completely

Deanna stood from a distance watching Dylan, looking sad, broken and dejected

“I hope things get better soon..” She thought

Wilson’s Mansion..

He carried her slowly, walking towards the wall, he dropped her slowly and gently slammed her back on the wall, kssing her softly like his life depended on it.

Brinkley found her self reciprocating.. his taste was hard to resist, her senses flew out of the door, forgetting he’s her brother

Mavis slid his hands under her singlet, grabbing her left bb

“Humm!” Brinkley gasped silently with a mo@n

And to think that they were in the passage and not the room!, anyone could come in but that was the least on their mind presently

He removed his lips from hers and diverted it to the side of her neck, sck¡ng on her sensitive spot

“Gosh!” She mo@ned in pIeasure, grabbing his hair

“Woah!” A voice made them stop immediately and Brinkley eyes widened

“What did she just do.. again!!”

They both looked to see where the voice came from and the maid gasped and shook in fear covering he mouth

She was about to clean the rooms when she saw the shocking scene that made her gasp loudly before she could realise

“I did not see anything!” She cried, instantly diverting her gaze to the floor

Brinkley’s was b.eating madly fast

Mavis sighed and left without a word, the maid ran away also

Brinkley touched her lips,

“Am I crazy!!” She wondered, reminiscing of what just happened

“Fk me!!!!” She ht her head in fury

Alive Hospitals..

“You have six hours to pay the money so we could begin the surgery, she’s dying and you know it” The doctor said and Paisley fell on her knees

“Doctor please, I really don’t know what to do next, I can’t afford that huge amount” she cried

“Ma’am, the hospital has tried its best in her treatment, she only needs a surgery to be fine, that’s all.. please, try your best” the doctor said in a professional voice and left immediately

Paisley sat on the floor in tears

“Jessica..!!” She cried

Granny Teresa’s Home

Teresa returned home some minutes ago, searching for an old savings box.. She suddenly remembered in the hospital that Claribel has a box where she saves her money for some years now

Harold returned from school already, and hurriedly changed into a casual wear, preparing to go back ro the hospital with Teresa

“Ahh..” She breathed in relief when she finally found it..

She broke it’s lock and poured out its whole content, there were a lot of notes but was definitely not enough to pay the hospital bills

She sighed frustratingly as she began counting them.. quickly

She suddenly heard the door bells

“Harold..! Check who’s at the door” she shouted and Harold immediately ran to check who it was

His eyes widened in total shock as he swung the door open, boring his eyes into hers.. it was so red and was so obvious that she had been crying

He looked to see what she was holding and was surprised to see her with her big bag

“C bells….?” He called as he always did..in awe

Claribel gave no reply, she pushed the door widely opened and entered the house, falling heavily on the old couch

Harold was dumbfounded

“Harold.. see what I got from the box” Teresa said coming in

Her mouth flew open on sighting Claribel

“Claribel!” She squealed, rushing to her immediately and pulled her into a tight hug

Claribel slowly hugged her back, sniffing repeatedly

Teresa slowly broke the hug in amazement, the normal Claribel will giggle loudly when she sees her after a long time but she’s unusually cold and sad

It dawned on her that she had been crying, her eyes were red

Harold kept staring

“What’s going on?” Teresa asked looking at the big bag

“You got sacked?” She asked again and Claribel shook her head negatively

“Granny.. I resigned” Claribel suddenly spoke, bursting into fresh tears

Harold eyes widened, Teresa’s eyes weren’t left out

“Wait.. what?!!”
