“Hey. You’re back” Nora jerked from her seat the moment Alicia walked in through the door looking so tired and rough.
“I was about coming to give you lunch” she walked closer to her friend who looked unconscious of her environment.
“Did David drop the charges? Hey Alicia talk to me” Nora held her close when she noticed the time tears that trickled from her eyes.
“He hates me now. ” That was the only thing she said before she let loose the hell of tears she has been trying to hold.
She couldn’t hold anymore. It hurts.
“Don’t say that okay. Nobody hates you” Nora pulled her close and hugged her tight.
“No he does. He said it to my face. I- I can’t live with the fact that David hates me”
“David can’t hate you. He dropped the changes remember?” Nora pointed out in order to cheer her up.
“No he didn’t drop the charges on his own. He didn’t. He told me if it was to be done his way, he’d let me rot in jail”
”maybe he’s just angry. He’s just angry. I don’t think he meant any of that.”
Nora who understood what Alicia was feeling tried as much to console her.
It’s not easy getting to know that she’s still head over heels with someone she can’t have cause he’s inlove with another.
“Why not go in and have a shower so you can eat what I prepared for you.
After the meal, you have a good long rest so when you wake, you’ll be yourself again and you’ll be able to think straight” Nora suggested.
Alicia sniffled hard and nodded against her friend’s shoulder.
“Everything’s gonna be fine okay.. I promise… All you have to do is move on.. cause that’s just the best option”
Neglecting the bitter truth coated in her words, what she just said is totally True. And Alicia knows that too but she refuses to believe that as the only option.
It’s harder than she thought.
All these while, she was busy loving someone who can never be hers.
It’s hurts so bad.
*The feeling is back again*..
Nora held her head as she felt nueseous. She’s been feeling this way for the past days. She remembered throwing up in one of the occasion. She doesn’t really know what’s wrong with her.
Alicia is already in her room having her supposed rest which she needs.
As it is now, Nora is feeling extremely weak like she’s been involved in a hard job for the past hours. She just can’t tell. It’s been long she fell sick.
Maybe it’s a sign of fever. She’ll have to consult a doctor before whatever it is generates into something she can’t handle.

“Does it really matter what I wear?”
Rosiana shrugged out frustratedly showing off the cloth she was putting on for David to access. It’s closely the fourth time she’s having a change.
“Yes it does. I’m treating you to lunch. I want you to flaunt those nice shape of yours..” David smirked in a way that sent shivers down her spine.
“I don’t like the naughty look on your face. Besides, I don’t have any better cloth than this…” she complained with a pout.
“Oh, if that’s the case, I’ll take you shopping for new dresses after lunch”
“Aww… You’d do that??” Rosiana gave him puppy eyes which caused a bulged in him.
She’s just so cute and innocent— he thought.
“Anything for you” he smiled charmingly.
“after all these, promise me you’ll take me to see my mom. I miss her already.
But you won’t mention a word to her about the accident. I don’t want her getting worried”
“Done. If that’s all, no problem with that” David shrugged his shoulders in agreement.
“Thank you so much. So back to the main question, is this outfit okay?” She asked…
“Still a Big No from me. Change into something else”
“Urghh!!!!” Rosiana grunted hard. Walking out on him.
Rosiana settled with a pair of black jeans and one of David’s top. It wasn’t really her size though, but it looked extra cute on her.
As promised, David treated her to lunch in one of the best eatery, and then took her to the mall to shop for new clothes.
The outing lasted three hours before they went to pay a visit to her mom.
Luckily, her mom was getting better and responding perfectly to treatment.
“I’ve missed you so much mommy” Rosiana hugged her mom who laid on the bed.
“I’ve missed you baby Rose” she wrapped her arms around her daughter in return.
“Uhm… I’ll go get us some drinks” David excused himself from the room.
“How have you been? Hope the nurses aren’t Rude in any way”
“They dare not. I may be sick, but, I haven’t forgotten how to teach some people manners” she joked. Causing Ana to laugh out.
“So Ana, how has life been with David and his kids? From what I’ve seen, David his really a nice man”
“He’s really nice mom. Nicer than his looks”
Rosiana’s cheeks heated up instantly causing a hue.
“I know that look Rosiana. Tell me what’s going on between you two. You like him don’t you?”
Ana’s mom who has been suspicious for a while now suddenly asked. Taking Ana by surprise.
“Mom…” She felt a little reluctant to answer at first.
“Yes I do. I do like him” she finally answered.
“Does he know about it? ” She asked with a tender smile.
The news of her daughter having such feeling for the opposite gender is a thing of joy to her.
Ever since Jason broke up with her four – five years ago, she hasn’t talked about any man cause she was deeply hurt.
“Yes mom. He likes me too. ” She smiled Shyly.
“I’m so happy for you Ana. It’s good to know you’ve moved on. David is really a good man.
And you both are lucky to have each other.” She caressed her daughter’s cheeks… Flashing her a cheeky smile.
“So, what does his kids think about it…? The chemistry between you and their dad..”
“His kids are…
The door suddenly opened as David walked in with a tray of lemonade drinks.
“Does anyone care for some?” He chuckled lightly.. placing it at a close side on the bed.
