He let go of her waist and walked out of the office.

Jemima staggered back and almost fell again.

“Did he just…

She stared down at her chest and slowly brought her hand to her left bb, touching it.

She’s putting on a b.ra, so what the h’ll did he just try? How could he…

She imagined him saying the words again, and she held her desk tight.

MAXWELL’S OFFICE

“You can go home to clean up since there’s not much on boss’s schedule this morning” Lina told Maxwell when he got back.

“Really?” He asked.

“Yes,, and what about the report?” She asked worriedly.

“She called it trash” he replied, and her eyes widened.

“What!”

She rushed to his laptop and started checking out the soft copy of the report.

“Any human would feel the energy of this report, it’s brilliant trust me” she said, looking up slowly.

“She told me to rewrite, but I’m not doing that anyways, I’ll go clean up” he smiled and got his jacket before walking out of the office.

Lina stayed and kept reading for minutes, she was even enjoying it till Jemima showed up.

“Where’s Maxwell?” She asked.

“Huh! Boss!” She jumped surprisingly.

Jemima kept the stern look intact.

“Oh… Secretary Maxwell? He went home to clean up” she said.

“Went home without my consent? Who gave him the permission” Jemima frowned.

“There’s nothing on your schedule till 10, and since he slept over here, I told him to…

“Are you crazy or something? Are you the boss or me?” Jemima came closer, and she quickly stepped back fearfully.

“I’m…I’m sorry boss…I…

“Get back to your office, right now!” Jemima fired.

“Y…yes.. ma’am!” Lina replied shakily and ran off.

Jemima kept standing, smirking lightly.

MILLAS’ APARTMENT

“Baby!” Maxwell gushed happily when he got home and met granny Suzy in the living room.

She has a bowl of bananas in front of her which she’s eating from.

“Mon tresor!” She chuckled, and he settled beside her, kssing her hair as usual.

“Told you to keep these things for your future girlfriend, isn’t it hightime you get a girlfriend? You’ve never dated” she said as he began stroking her hair.

“You should talk to Cypress about getting a boyfriend first” he replied.

“You think I haven’t tried?” she said, and he laughed.

“By the way where’s she?” He asked.

“I had to force her to go to work after promising her I’d be fine” she replied.

“Will you really be fine? Is your back not hurting anymore?” He asked with concern.

“Trust me Tresor, I’m fine” she replied, and he smiled before kssing her hair again.

“I have to go clean up and return to work” he stood.

“I heard about your boss, do you want me to beat her up for you? What kind of boss makes her staff work by 10pm” she said, peeling another banana.

“I’m only tolerating her cos of my salary, I’ll be fine” he replied and blew her a kss before entering his room.

He strlpped and entered the bathroom with only his towel wrapped around his waist.

He suddenly remembered the shocked look on Jemima’s face earlier when he knowingly said the stuff about her b.ra, and he giggled.
