SKYLINE CORPORATIONS~3:30
Jemima’s mind isn’t in the company again at all as she walked down the hallway with Lina beside her, on her way to meet the contractors in the hall.
She was restless as h’ll, and it’s fking obvious.
“Boss, are you ok?” Lina asked worriedly.
She didn’t reply till they got to the middle of the hallway where Tatiana appeared.
Immediately she saw Jemima, she began laughing scornfully, but Jemima pretended not to see her.
She was about to walk past her when she spoke.
“Thanks for making my morning, I enjoyed watching your video, I hope for more”
Jemima stopped and faced her.
“Your lipstick is smeared, you should spend more time in front of the mirror instead of poking your sticky nose around” she said and left with Lina.
“Your pride and ego wouldn’t stop overflowing no matter the situation, right?
I hope it’d keep flowing when the storm finally comes” Tatiana muttered with a knowing convulsion.
BLAZING EMOTIONS : CHAPTERS 31 – 40
UTOPIA ELEMENTARY~ 4:30PM
Standing in front of the show hall is Francesca, wearing her tutu and bodice already.
The show was already ongoing, and it’d soon be her turn to dance the ballet, but there’s no sign of Jemima despite the fact that Maxwell promised to talk to her.
“Frances!” Maxwell’s voice came from the end of the hallway, and she turned there fast to see him limping to her.
“Mell!” She rushed to him.
“Where’s mum?” She asked.
He hugged her first, then he kssed her hair like he does to granny.
“She’s coming” he replied.
“It’d soon be my turn” she said slowly, looking around again.
“Mell?” Sloane appeared.
“Miss Sloane” he smiled lightly.
“You came with her?” She asked, stroking her hair.
“Yeah” he replied.
“Ballerina dancer! Francesca Andrade-Kings!” A voice boomed from the speakers inside the hall.
“It’s your turn” Maxwell crouched in front of her.
“But mum…
“Trust me, she’d show up” he smiled, and she went in reluctantly.
“Jemima will not come” Sloane said, and Maxwell sighed.
“Hows your wounds doing? I’d have called, but tight schedule” she smiled.
“I’m fine” he replied with a light smile, and they entered the hall at a time, though her attention is not even on what’s going on in the hall, it’s all on him.
Even with the plaster on his forehead, he’s still so dashing, and that got her tripping again, she bit her lip gently.
“Francesca! Dance!!” The voice of the audience woke her up from her thoughts, and she faced the stage to see Francesca standing still, not moving an inch.
Instead of dancing, she hiccupped, preparing to cry.
“Francesca!!” The crowd screamed again, and that was when her tears fell down her cheeks.
“Dmn” Maxwell muttered.
“She won’t dance, I think…” Sloane muttered sadly.
“Francesca dance!!!” The crowd cheered her again, but her tears only got worse.
Maxwell moved from his spot and was about to climb the stage when Francesca’s tears suddenly stopped, and her eyes brightened.
Her eyes were fixed at the door, so Maxwell turned there too, and to his surprise, he saw her.. Jemima!
She’s just rushing in, breathing heavily with sweats all-over her brows.
Only the sounds of her heels could be heard in the now silent hall as everyone turned there to see what’s going on too…
Maxwell smiled when she finally stopped walking and released another heavy breath.
“Mummy!!!” Francesca shouted in ecstacy, rushing down from the stage.
She ran happily to her, and Jemima knelt before she could get to her…
She jumped into her arms, hugging her so tight like she’d run away…
“Thanks for coming mummy, I love you so much”
“I love you too, Cesca” Jemima whispered tearfully, and Francesca’s eyes widened as fk!
