CHAPTER 32

He finished brushing within five minutes and went under the shower for his bath, and that was when Warren came in.

“Mell!!!” He barged into the bathroom.

“Are you ¢razy? I’m bathing here!” Maxwell shouted.

“Yes I’m ¢razy right now! I’m going ¢razy bestie! Did you check your IG? Sloane Roosevelt followed you! The next billionaire after your boss!” Warren screamed.

“What are you talking about?” Maxwell said with a blink, coming out from under the shower.

He checked it, and his eyes widened when he saw it’s for real.

“Fk!” He gasped.

“It’s real dude! Do you know how many people will follow you only because of this?

You went from 700+ to 900+ I’m sure you’ll hit 1M before tommorow!” Warren announced.

“Fk!!!!” Maxwell screamed, and they hugged.

XXIV CARATS~ 9AM

Cypress stepped out after the opening of the store that morning, she needed something to quench the sudden dryness she’s feeling in her throat.

She went to the vending machine and got herself a canned beer.

“I know it’s not advisable to drink beer this early, but I can’t help it anyways, I love it too much!” She kssed the can, and Linda suddenly appeared in front of her.

“I wonder what senior Oliver saw in you. You’re neither pretty nor attractive” She said bitterly.

“Sorry are you talking to me?” Cypress laughed.

“Who else?” Linda rolled eyes.

“Senior Oliver? Fk, you’re really asking for a beating right now but nah, I won’t give you cos I promised my granny not to see bI.ood Tues.

You can seduce him if you want him, why attacking me Dumbelinda” Cypress replied.

“Dumbelinda?” Linda came forward.

“Yes, did I not pronounce your name well?” Cypress laughed, and Linda grabbed her hair immediately.

“Fking descendant of a bch!!” She yelled, and Cypress laughed funnily before grabbing her hair too, pulling her head backwards so she lost her hold on her own hair.

“Help!!!” Linda cried out as Cypress began pulling her to the vending machine with the hair.

“Follow me bch, you’re the real descendant and not me” she said when she finally got to the machine.

She hit her head on the machine glass, and bI.ood came out immediately as her forehead got a cut.

“Help!!!” Linda yelled as she hit the head again.

“What do you think you’re doing!” The voice of the boss spoke from behind, and Cypress quickly let go of her to face him.

“Boss!” Her eyes widened.

“My head!!! I’m dying!!!” Linda cried, and like that, she pretended to pass out on the ground.

He ran to her , and his eyes widened when he saw the wound.

He called an ambulance immediately, and it arrived shortly to take her to the hospital.

“Aren’t you the best attendant here?” He faced Cypress whose head was bowed.

“She started it” she replied.

“Then you should have kept in your anger instead of beating your coworker till she passed out!” He shouted.

“That wasn’t her first time” Oliver appeared, and Cypress finally looked up.

“Of what?” The boss asked.

“Linda is always the starter” Oliver replied.

“But that still doesn’t warrant that treatment” the boss replied.
