CHAPTER 66
LOBBY
Maxwell waited for a minute before Cypress appeared, and she grabbed his hand immediately, taking him out.
“I can’t go around yet, reporters are everywhere!” He shouted.
“Then you shouldn’t have done anything to make me mad! What’s with all the pictures with that lady online?
She’s same age as I am yunno? How could you!” Cypress shouted back.
Maxwell quickly grabbed her hand and took her to the valet parking lot since it’s silent.
“Did you come here because of this?”
“What are you talking about! It’s all-over the news and you know how much I hate that wtch!” Cypress shouted.
“Can you stop shouting? It’s my life anyways” Maxwell replied.
“What!”
“Yeah, so can y’all just leave me to make my decisions?”
“Wait…. don’t tell me you really fell for that lady” Cypress muttered.
“I’ll see you at home tommorow” he replied and started leaving.
“Maxwell! Maxwell come back! Hey! Maxwell Milla!!!” She screamed after him till he entered the hotel.
“Fk, this ain’t making any dmn sense” she mumbled, resting on a car.

LOBBY RESTROOM
As said, granny Suzy was already waiting, but she’s not alone. She’s with Warren when Jemima came in.
“Ma’am” she said, and Suzy went on her knees immediately, shocking her.
“Ma’am!” She gasped.
“I know I went overboard when I came to pull your hair at your company back then, but can you please forgive me?
If you’re trying to get back at me by using and dumping my treasure, please stop now” she begged.
“Granny stop” Warren quickly made her stand.
“Please don’t use my son, let it end as fast as possible. I know he looks strong and smart and all, but he gets really emotional at any slight pain, so please….can you forgive me and leave my son alone?” She continued.
Jemima was speechless as she stared at the old woman, and she swallowed hard a number of times, not knowing what to say.
“Let’s go granny” Warren said, taking her out of the room.
Jemima sighed, biting her lip hard.

JEMIMA’S MANSION
“Hello, did you see the news?” Miguel asked loudly over the phone.
Francesca is currently lying on her bed, talking to him.
“Of course, anyone in Paris would feel the heat” she replied with a bright smile.
“You seem happy about it” Miguel said.
“Of course, Mell is like a big brother to me, and it has always been my dream to meet a dad I’d like anytime mum plans to marry.
Since I can’t meet my real dad, I’d at least meet another” she replied.
“He’s younger yunno?” Miguel said, and she sat up in bed, playing with the white stuffed teddy beside her.
“Who cares? Mum is older but she behaves more childish, so it’s cute, and I love the pictures” Francesca replied.
“You’re spoilt” Miguel said, and she laughed.
“Need to go now, mum has been sad since she saw the news”
“Why would she be sad?” Francesca asked.
“I think she also likes… nevermind, goodbye” he hung up.
“What was that?” Francesca blinked, and Dolores came in.
“Time to write assignments!” She said.
“Reporters are still outside?” Francesca asked as she carried her.
“I think they’re staking out, but they’d soon leave if they don’t see boss anyways” Dolores replied, walking out of the room.
“You’re happy about the relationship too, right?” Francesca asked, and Dolores smiled.
“Of course, I’d be happy if she settles with a guy like that, he’s cool so I hope they stay happy”
“I love you” Francesca kssed her cheeks, and she laughed as they entered the study.
