“Max!!” She screamed, giggled like a kid as she tightened her hold on him.
“I forgot today is the games day, I didn’t even plan anything” he said with a slight pout.
“Lina planned the games, you don’t have to worry. I’m planning to hire another secretary since you’ll be too busy with promotions and…
“Don’t you dare” he cut her off, and she giggled.
“Why?”
“Even if I get more popular than this, I’ll never stop being your secretary. I love it, and I’ll do everything I can’t do in the office from home.
I’ll really get mad if you hire another” he said, and she smiled with a knowing glint in her eyes
“What?” He asked.
“Do you realize how sxier you looked just now?” She replied, and he tilted his head a bit, narrowing his eyes.
“Do you wanna kss again? Yes or yes?” He whispered, and she quickly left him.
“Don’t even think about it, let’s go prepare for the games” she said, and he laughed as he walked to the door.
He looked back suddenly and smiled at her again before leaving completely.
Jemima fell back on her swivel chair and and smiled before resting back.
“Gosh! He’s so cute!” She suddenly gushed, covering her eyes with one palm as she began blushing again.

Cypress came in looking cold and expressionless.
She didn’t turn left or right to look at anyone or sneer at Linda as usual, she kept up the vibe.
She has been avoiding Oliver since she remembered the accidental kss. How the fk would she face him???
She was still walking swiftly to the locker room when he suddenly showed up in front of her.
Her eyes widened, and she quickly changed direction, but he changed too and blocked her.
“Are you ok? Your eyeballs are drowsy and slightly red” he said, and she sighed.
She couldn’t sleep last night cos of this, so it’s expected.
“It’s none of your business” she said coldly and walked away from him.
“Are you mad at me?” He suddenly asked, but she didn’t stop to respond till she got to the locker room.
She released a heavy sigh before taking off the Jersey top she’s wearing, and the door opened immediately, revealing Oliver.
“This is the females! How could you…
He walked straight to her, and she stopped talking, avoiding his eyes.
“You remembered the accidental kss, didn’t you?” He asked, and she slowly looked up, hearing the shatter of her defense.
“I knew it, that’s why you’ve been avoiding me” he muttered.
“I’m sorry, I just didn’t know how to face you after giving my first kss away to you in my drunk state and…
“I wasn’t planning to ask you out, I know you don’t like me as a man” he cut her off, and her eyes widened.
“Wait…you like me?” She asked, and he nodded.
“Yeah, but don’t worry, I can wait till you like me back and I promise not to disturb you with my feelings, just let me continue liking you” he said, and she blinked.
“But…
“Get changed and come out, it’s the last day of the month, and the store is always jam-packed” he smiled and left the room.
Cypress backed the wall and blinked twice.
“Oliver likes me? Me?… Why? I mean… I’m not even very pretty so… Why?”
