“Perhaps are you in love with him?”
I asked her again
She seemed to be confused..
She didn’t give me a fast reply
“Huh?”
“Am I wrong?”
I asked her probing her forward to see her reply
“That’s.. That’s…”
She stammered
“I guess I said something wrong”
I said to her
“No..I’m not in love with him”
She gave a blunted reply
I still wanted to go ahead
“Then is he the one in love with you?”
I asked again
“Huh?”
“Isn’t it?”
I said still trying to push words into her mouth
“No. Mr Kim is just my boss and nothing more!”
She said smiling
I decided to take the lead forward
“Ah! I see but he seems nice to you”
I said..
“Maybe”
She said still smiling
“But..”
I wanted to go on but I decided to cut it off.
It seems my questions are making her uncomfortable.
I can sense that!
“I’m sorry! It’s because I’m sensitive”
I said to her
“It’s okay”
“Je Na has been my best friend for over seven years”
I said standing up
“Wow..nice”
She replied me
“But you know what?”
I said as she looked on anxiously
“What?”
“I had always expected him to like me or maybe date or even ask me out”
I said pouring out my mind
“Really?”
She asked surprised
“Alas! He didn’t.”
I said but it seems she’s still uncomfortable so I decided to leave
I got what I wanted!
“Maybe you have a lot of work right?”
I asked her
“It seems like that”
She said gloomy
“Aigoo! You should have told me”
I said walking up to her
“It’s nothing!”
She smiled
“I’d like to take my leave now”
I said
“It was nice with you Miss Mi Rae”
She said still smiling
I only waved my hands as I walked out of her office.
I got all I need!
That’s all matters!
I’m glad she isn’t in love with him
I’m so happy she isn’t!
Now I can leave Korea again..
I’m always coming because if Je Na
To check if my space is still intact
I love him and nothing can change that fact!
I’m not willing to give him up

I grinned to myself as I walked unto his office trying to call him for lunch.

My heart almost jumped out..
My stomach rumbled as I remembered I didn’t even have breakfast yet..
I didn’t have time
I checked my wristwatch as it was even time for lunch..
“I’ll finish the files when I’m back”
I said to myself
But for now I need to visit the cafeteria..
I walked out as I walked towards the company cafeteria
I got there as I met Mr Kim and Miss Kang together eating
They looked like couples
Bullshit!
He waved at me as I bowed
I turned to bring my head up as I my gaze met with Jin Ho’s
Gosh!
I hate seeing him now!
I walked towards an empty seat after ordering for food..
I sat down there straight..
I was about to pick the chopsticks when Jin Ho appeared in my front
“We need to talk!”
He said to me
“We have nothing to talk about!”
I said trying not to look into his eyes
“Hye Ji Listen to me!”
He said screaming
“I have nothing to do with you!”
I also screamed at him drawing people’s attention to us
I stood up immediately
“Hye Ji?”
He was visibly surprised
“You played with my love and I promise to get someone better than you”
His eyeballs changed as it seems my words brought fury
“Someone better?”
He said
People stopped eating now as they kept watching us .
Mr Kim tried standing up but Mi Rae held him back
“I’ll make someone better fall in love with me!”
I shouted
“Someone better like your Boss? Just like Kim Je Na?”
“Yes!”
I screamed out..
The sliver spoon in my hand fell down as it chimed loudly like an acceptation has been made by Buddha

What have I just said?

Or I said it intentionally?
