?Brown skin girl?
?Chapter Two?
Damian led Trisha into their new house in California, his hands covering her eyes. She wore a curious smile careful following her dad.
“Let me see, dad!” She requested
“No peanut, let me take you to the best part to view from” He said and led her up the stairs.
“Ready?” He asked rhetorically
“Psst… Whether am ready or not, you’ll still let me see some…” She gasped as her dad left her eye and she caught the view in front of her. Her jaw dropped at the beauty of the place.
“OMG, dad!” She exclaimed and ran down stairs to explore. Dania smiled as he watched his daughter admire the fancy features in the living room.
Trisha looked up to look at Damian. “Is this our house or the governor of California’s?” She said and Damian laughed
“Wow, dad… This place is so fancy, how come you could afford it?” She asked tearing her gaze from her DA to view the beauty.
Dania shrugged “Becky!” He replied.
Trisha shot her eyes back at him. “Becky?” She repeated. Damian nodded.
“You mean your girlfriend bought us this house?” Trisha asked doubtfully.
“Yes, she did” Damian replied walking down the stairs.
“Really? How can she afford this? What is she? A celebrity?” Trisha asked unbelievably looking round the house again
“No… She’s a baker!” He answered
“A baker?” She repeated and Damian nodded at her. She opened her mouth to say something but shut it when she felt the air sickness.
“You know… We’ll talk about this Becky lady later but right now the journey’s not so good on me” She said feeling her head.
“Awn… My baby got airsick” He said cutely and Trisha giggled “Come on let’s go see your room.” He said and they went up the stairs.
????????????
“Come on Dad, Breakfast is ready!” Trisha shouted while setting the table.
It was two since they moved to California and Damian got an office job. _(Not really necessary what his job is, guys)_. Trisha was already registered in Botley high school. She was nervous about resuming the next week as a fresh man.
She heard her father’s footsteps thomping against the stairs
“Did somebody say breakfast?” He said funnily appearing in the dinning room
“Yup… I did” Trisha replied and looked up at her dad. “Dad? You’re not dressed for work yet? Come on” She scolded
“I’m off today peanut!” He justified landing on a seat like a log of wood.
“Well… You would have told me yesterday so I would have slept in rather than waking up early to make your meal!” She complained rolling her eyeballs roughly. Damian narrowed his eyes
“You wake up early everyday to dance, peanut!” He reminded.
“Whatever dad, you get my dmn point” She said
“Well, its not a waste… We ate going to spend the whole of this day having fun…touring around California!” He announced. Trisha screamed in excitement
“Yeeeey… And by evening, we could go to a cinema!” She added jumping up and down her hair jumping with her.
“Anywhere you want to go peanut… The amusement park, we could go see Micky mouse, we could buy candies…” Damian listed eying his food.
Trisha slapped her forehead
“Dad? I’m 17, if you don’t remember, and couldn’t you think of more mature activities we could engage in, like going ice skating… Or roller skating…”
“Tris… Skating is dangerous not mature!” Damian said
“And amusement park is stupid and so are dolls!” She replied sitting and serving herself
“Well… Anything you want to do… We are do in it. But… We’ll be having company” He announced
“Really, who?” She asked
“Err…” Damian scratched his head knowing how much Trisha would hate it.
“Its Becky!” He said. Trisha shot him a glare
“Don’t worry, its ok… She’s really nice, you’ve not met her. You can trust me, she’s fun to be with.” He added quickly
Trisha scoffed “Of course she’ll be fun for you because you get to screw her!” She said carelessly.
“Tris!” Damian called out quite embarrassed.
“Yes daddy!” Trisha answered innocently fluttering her lashes.
“Arrrrgh… Whatever!” He said and the doorbell rang. They exchanged glances
“She’s here” Damian said not helping the smile on his face
“This early? Does she live next door?” Trisha said rhetorically as her dad stood up to get the door.
“Come on, peanut, be happy! Act natural” He said disappearing into the sitting room.
Great! She was going to meet her to be stepmum and she was supposed to be happy? She fooled her eyes as she stood up from the table closing the food before going to the living room to check out the lady her dad fell for.
She leaned by the staircase watching as her dad kissed the lady and gave way to expose Becky to Trisha’s sight.
Trisha almost choked on her saliva. This lady was far less ugly than she imagined. She had pictured Becky as a white lady with fat body and unkempt red hair with a strict scary face and loved dressing in khakis.
But this lady she saw was way prettier than her imagination. Becky was slim and curvy, she had pointy jaws and pretty face.
Her red hair was definitely not unkempt but tied in a ponytail. Her skin was smooth and spotless. She even had dimples.
Trisha frowned… She didn’t know why but she detested this lady, she didnt want anything to do with her. She scrunched up her nose as the lady patted her dad’s head
“… Well, This is Trisha, my daughter I’ve been telling you about.” He introduced.
Then did Becky sight her, standing with her arms crossed looking unconcerned. They met her at the stairs
“Peanut… This is Becky” Damian told her
“Trisha… I’ve heard a lot about you” Becky said giving her a small smile
“As have I!” Trisha replied rolling her eyes. She turned to Damian “Em… Dad? I don’t think I want to go out anymore, I think breakfast found a wrong edge in my stomach” she lied
“Come on, Tris, You haven’t even had breakfast yet!” He reminded.
Becky frowned, shooting Trisha an unnoticeable glare.
“She’s going to be attending Botley, right?” She asked
“Yes, she is… Don’t mind my peanut she’s just so stubborn and complicated” Damian covered
“Just like you, my sweet papaya” Becky replied pinching Damian’s cheek softly.
Trisha spread her hands in horror, furrowing her brows. Papaya?
Becky and Damian turned to look at her
“Oh, yeah, we have cute names for each other” Damian giggled
Oh… She said that out loud!
“You know what? I don’t care. I’ll just go dress up.” She said running back upstairs, her steps looking more like dance steps.
They watched her until they could no longer see her.
“She’s cute right?” Damian asked
Becky nodded not looking off the top of the stairs
“Yes she’s cute!” She replied and smiled
“…and she’s just what I need!” She added lowly.
