BROWN SKIN GIRL: Chapter 1 to 10

?Brown skin girl?

?Chapter five?

Becky drove into the garage of a simple bungalow and they got off. They went into the house and Trisha couldn’t help but wonder the kind of love that existed between Becky and her dad that would make her buy such a beautiful house for them while she lives in such a place. It was so poor that Trisha felt disgusted.

She watched Becky stand in front of a bookshelf and turn to look at her. They did some sort of staring contest for few seconds
“What?” Trisha asked in disgust
Becky rolled her eyes. She hoped she wasn’t making a huge mistake

“Oh… You want me to comment? Well… I think this place is a rabbit hole. You can’t afford yourselve a more decent apartment and you bought my dad a heaven’s home? Thats not love, Becky… Its stupidity…”
“Shut up!” Becky snapped and Trisha scoffed loudly
“You know… I think I’ve had enough of this place, why did you bring me here?” She enquired

Becky eyed Trisha for a while. She made a silent prayer for it all to work out as planned. She was nervous but that didnt show
“Listen Trisha… I need your help” Becky said wishing she didn’t have to tell her that she needed her help
Trisha’s expression changed
“You’re kidding, why would you need my help?” She asked still claiming stubborn

Becky sighed and drew down book from the shelf and replaced it. The shelf opened like a door and revealed an elevator.
Trisha’s jaw dropped as Becky walked into the elevator. Becky signalled her to come into the elevator

“How do I know you don’t want to kidnap me?” She asked crossing her arms. Becky walked up to her and dragged her by the collar into the elevator
“Whoah, ok ok…” Trisha yelped as she was dragged into the elevator.

The elevator began to go down.
“Are we going underground?” She asked with furrowed brows
“No… We are going to the heavens to see God” Becky replied sarcastically. Trisha humphed.

When the elevator got them to their destination, it revealed a breathtaking apartment with a water fountain in the living room… It was rich. Trisha couldn’t help but stare.
“Why do you live underground?” She asked “Why do you need a cover?” Trisha asked with interest.

Becky poured out wine into two glasses and took one. Trisha made to take the other one but She stopped her
“Ta-ta! Not for children!” She said and Trisha rolled her eyes and humphed
“My life is not always safe and so I need a cover” Becky answered

“What do you mean by ‘not always safe’?” Trisha asked.
“Trisha… I work for the MI7… A secret organisation designed to fight crimes and protect lives in danger. We work for the country.. We expose bad guys that the FBI have missed out. And I’m Agent Becky!”

Trisha stared at her for a split second and bursted into laughter. She began to cough and made for the second glass of wine with an excuse to clear her throat. She took a gulp and looked at the glass in admiration

“This is delicious!” She said and Becky rose a brow at her.
“Ok… Let me get this… You… Are… A secret agent?”
“Yes.” Becky said simply
“So, how come I’ve never heard of MI6 before?” She asked
“Its MI7, and you, dumb girl, have never heard of it because its secret.” Becky said rolling her eyes
Trisha stared at her for some time

“Why should I believe your lie?” She asked glaring
“Its not a lie!”
“Proof?” Trisha demanded and Becky grunted
“Why the fuck will I have a damn house to cover up my real home? How am I able to afford this place and your place since I’m just a baker? How was I able to hold you up with my stiletto if I’m not a trained agent?” Becky asked impatiently and crossed her arms.

Remembering the car event made Trisha shunder and she realized it was true. Only someone that trained would have been able to do what she did. Becky was a secret agent. That was sooo cool! But she wasn’t about to admit that out loud. She eyed Becky from head to toe, the gesture annoying Becky to core.
“So… You’re a secret agent, huh? Dad will be so over the fence when he hears that!” She brought out her phone and almost immediately it was snatched from her. She looked up at Becky holding the phone.
“What?” She demanded
“You are not to tell anybody about me!” Becky said harshly
“Why?” Trisha asked dumbly
“Because!…” Becky yelled and said in gritted teeth “I’m SECRET!”

“Oh… Ok!..So, why did you tell me?” Trisha asked
Becky calmed “Good question” she said. “Like I said earlier, I need your help.”
“On what?” Trisha inquired and gasped, looking at Becky with wide eyes

“You want me to spy with you! Ha” she said in excitement “My answer is a yes! Haha… We’ll kick the bad guys butt! We’ll be superheroes!” Trisha said, dramatically kicking and blowing her imaginary villain.
“Stop embarassing yourself” Becky said coldly. Trisha comported herself immediately and giggled nervously
“Yeah right…” She said and cleared her throat “So what’s the first mission?”

“The first mission is for you to shut up!” Becky said and Trisha frowned.
“The second mission is for you to hear me out and stop thinking that i want to make you a spy.” Becky said rolling her eyes.
Trisha humphed and turned away with her arms crossed. “Well, what do you need me for?” She demanded

“Good question!” Becky said feeling her neck. “Will you help me?” She asked
“Spill it, Becky… Only then will I decide if I would help you or not.” Trisha snapped.
Becky groaned and began to pace.

“The prime minister and his family are in danger. We don’t have any clue on the people behind the plot to kill them. The FBI have no idea, neither does the police. Its left for the MI7 to find out who is behind all of it and protect them. If any member of the prime minister’s family should die here in California, The headquarters of our organization in Wasington DC will eliminate us and set new representatives for California and that will be the end of my career as a secret agent.”

Becky explained like she wasn’t even talking to Trisha. “I was given the role to protect the prime minister’s son and as we are a secret organization, we do everything under a cover, so the bad guys will not be aware that the are being watched and try to take cover, which makes it easier for us to catch them.

So my role is kind of the hardest to find a cover in because as The kid is a student we need someone that is closest yet far away from suspicion to him… To just keep an eye on him and make sure that…”
“Whoah whoah whoah! I think i get where this whole stuff is going!” Trisha interrupted dropping the glass of wine and taking few steps away. She pointed at Becky “You… want me…” She pointed back at herself “… To do your agent work for you and be Ryan’s bodyguard?” She said in disbelief
“Who’s Ryan?” Becky asked
“The prime man’s kid!” Trisha answered mockingly

“Its prime minister. And the plan is not for you to be his bodyguard, its for you to act natural in school, be yourself. The only different is to get close to him”
“I’m not getting close to that jerk! I can’t even stand him!” Trisha snapped
“Why not? He’s a rich kid! All rich kids are proud you have to deal with it!” Becky said sipping her wine
How do you even want me to get close to a proud kid?” Trisha asked

Becky rose a brow
“Well… I was thinking, you can become his girlfriend” she said shrugging. Trisha laughed horridly

“Firstly, I will never ever ever be Ryan’s girlfriend, He’s an asshole! Secondly, Ryan is a playboy, he goes about breaking girls hearts!”
“Why do you care? Your heart won’t be in the relationship. Its just a cover in school to determine danger around him.” Becky retorted

“Why does he even need a cover in school?” Trisha asked
“Because that’s the only place he goes without his bodyguards!” Becky replied. Trisha paced for a while thinking about the situation.
At a time she stopped “No!… I can’t. There has to be another option! Asides having to be his girlfriend!” She said
“What other option? Come on, Trisha. Its just you faking that you want to be his girlfriend!”

“Well what about him? He wouldn’t want me! And he won’t fake that he does!” Trisha shouts crossing her arms.
Becky rose her brows “Ahhhh… So that’s your problem, you fear he’ll reject you” She said
Trisha gave her a glare “Peleeease… Ryan wishes to have a girl like me!” She boasted with a roll of her eyes “But that’s not happening… You know, Gimme time to think about it. I’ll give you feedback tomorrow! Chloe and Ruby will know what to do” Trisha suggested
“No! This information stays between us… You never know who the bad guy is” Becky said seriously.

Trisha scoffed “Yeah right… Chloe and Ruby are bad guys… Funny!” She said in sarcasm.
“No telling, figure it out yourself, I’ll also help think of it” Becky said.

“Fine… Bye!” Trisha concluded and made to leave
“Lemme drive you home” Becky offered demandingly
“No! I’ll go myself you witch!” Trisha declined emphasizing the witch
“You don’t have much of a choice, child.” Becky said picking her car keys and going to the elevator
“I’m not a child.! I’m 17!” Trisha argued in annoyance
“Really? I thought you were 11” Becky mocked as Trisha joined her in the elevator. Trisha groaned
“You are annoying, Becky!” She said with gritted teeth.
“Shut up!” Becky ordered.

??????????

Trisha kept turning in bed that night. The information she got was so cool to keep to herself but she had to keep it to herself.

The whole agent Becky stuff made sense to her but she really didn’t know why she decided to help Becky. Maybe it was because of the coolness of the job but her being Ryan’s girlfriend was so not cool!
Becky told her on the ride back home that all she had to do was to stick to Becky for the reason she alone will know and try to detect danger from any corner of the school to Ryan.
She threw the covers and made for her school bag. She brought out the pen Becky said was a secret weapon. She studied it with scrunched nose.

“Becky can be so cra… Whoah!” She stared at the dart that hit on the wall and back at the pen. Did the pen just shoot a dart?
“Cool, its really a secret weapon!- wait till Chloe and Becky sees this…” She stopped. Great! Only she should know about it.

She laid back in bed and thought about the whole of that day. Willing her mind desperately not to go to the drive.
She slept off at last and her dream was just the drive replying itself.
