BROWN SKIN GIRL: Chapter 1 to 10

?Brown skin girl?

?Chapter six

Becky parked somewhere around the school and Trisha made to go out
“Wait!” She said and Trisha turned to look at her
“What?” She blurted out
“This whole stuff is not a joke! When I said yesterday, no telling… I meant it to the core! Do not tell any damn person about me or the pen or the plot against the kid! Even the kid.” Becky warned strictly
Trisha rolled her eyes “Yeah right… I heard you right yesterday!” She said crossing her arms.

Becky took her bag and brought put a pair of deep dark goggles and gave it to her.
“You put these on!” She ordered.

Trisha scrunched up her nose “Why? I’m not going to swag in school!” She retorted
“I don’t care about the fk of things you wanna do in school! This is not just a speck! If you put it on, I’ll see everything you see. It has a camera!” Becky explained harshly
Trisha looked thoughtful “Firstly, I thought you warned me about those languages”
“Are you going to warn me too?” Becky said grimly with a brow raised.

Trisha shook her head “Never mind! So you want to watch through me? You think I’m not capable to watch him or stuff?” She asked slightly offended
“Stop your whining, girl! I’m a trained detective! I read situations and placement of stuff! I’ll tell you what to do if I notice anything you don’t!…” Becky said bring out a small Bluetooth.

She gave it to Trisha “Put it in your ear, I’ll speak to you through it!”
Trisha collected the item and put it in her ear “Of course I know where to put it! I didnt plan to put it in my nose!” She murmured
Becky looked at her sharply “Did you say something?” She asked
“Nope! Nothing at all!” Trisha lied immediately and put on the speck.

“Let me test it.” Becky said and brought out her iPad. She did the whole connections and it worked. The screen was viewing the screen
“Wow, its working, this is what I’m looking at!” Trisha commented stupidly.
Becky rolled her eyes “Look elsewhere this dumb girl!” She ordered and Trisha excitedly obeyed

“Is it working? Is it clear?” She asked looking around
“Yes it is!” Becky snapped “Now, Trisha… Loose your hair, let it fall!” She said
“Why? My friends and I are going to dance today, I can’t let it fall, it’ll disturb me” Trisha reasoned
“Your hair needs to cover the Bluetooth in your ear!” Becky told her.
Trisha thought of it. “Oh… Makes sense” she said and relieved her hair of the ponytail.

“Now, get out! And don’t screw up!” Becky ordered
“Now, get out! And don’t screw up!” Trisha mimicked mockingly, rushing out of the car before Becky got a chance to grab her hair and yank it.
Becky watched her bang the door and run into the school premises. She managed a smile.

Trisha opened her locker to get prepared for the day. She kept trying to figure out how to get close to Ryan. The only thing her mind could come up with was to ask him out! She slapped her forehead!

“Urgh, That is so not going to work!” She said out loud
“What? What’s not going to work?” She heard Becky ask. She almost forgot that Becky was there… Not literally though. She rolled her eyes
“Listen, Becky, When I call your name, you’ll know that I’m talking to you! For fuck’s sake, I talk in school!” She whispered
“Oh ok!” Becky said
“You know, I think I’ll take these off till, I’m around him!” Trisha said and leaned deeper into her locker to remove the items
“No, Trisha don’t…” Becky protested

“Later!” Trisha said and stuffed them into her bag. She sighed and brought out her phone
“Who are you talking to in your locker?”

She jerked in shock and snapped her head out of the locked to look at her. She slammed her locker closed as her phone almost fell from her hands. She gave a wide nervous smile as she leaned on her locker
“Oh… No.. Nobody! Just somebody…” She said with a wide eye and grin. She gestured at her phone “… On phone… Yup, I was talking to somebody on phone!… Definitely not on another device! Ha” She lied stupidly and immediately noticed she sounded suspicious.
She eyed her and shrugged
“Well, em.. Good morning, Principal Hanns!”
“Good morning, Miss Robbins! I need you, Miss Chapman and Miss Jacks to report to my office by recess!” She said. Trisha obviously fidgeted
“I’m Sorry, Mrs Hanns but did we do something wrong?” She asked

“Principal Hanns!” She corrected “And when I see you three in my office we’ll know!” She answered and walked away.
Trisha furrowed her brows and opened her locker again.
“Hey Tris.” Chloe and Ruby greeted coming towards her.
“Hi guys! Did ‘P’ lady meet you?” She asked
“Yeah, she did” Ruby answered
“I wonder what she wants to see us for” Chloe wondered. Trisha shrugged

“Whatever it is!”
She took some books in her hands and slammed her locker close. They began to go for their first class
“So, Becky who was that lady from yesterday? Is she your to be mum you told us about?” Ruby asked
“Yeah, she certainly is. She’s mean right?” Trisha said and the girls nodded
“Don’t worry, you’ll be fine” Chloe assured comfortingly
“Oh, that’s for sure” Trisha replied.

“But she’s so not cool, she was so mean to us yesterday… Couldn’t she have, at least said a hi to us?” Ruby complained

“Yeah, you’re right. Mean people aren’t cool. Trisha, I’m so sorry she has to be so cold seeing you’re the fun type” Chloe said caringly.

They were so wrong. If only they knew how cool Becky was, they would have thought differently.

“Oh, come on! You guys don’t know her! She’s just acting that way because she feels I’m stubborn” Trisha replied with a shrug
“Ok, whatever suits you!” Chloe concluded.
“Yeah” Trisha replied

“Have a seat!” Mrs Hanns instructed the girls and they sat reluctantly, wondering why they were called upon that afternoon.

“I know you girls are wondering why you are called upon this afternoon, am I right?” Mrs Hanns asked grimly and they nodded in affirmation.
“Well, I got a report…” Mrs Hanns said and searched their faces for any form of familiarity “… From the Prime minister’s house.” She added and paused again.

The girls exchanged glances in utter surprise as their minds went in the same direction.
“I heard that you three mistake of girls laid an ambush on the prime minister’s son I’m the school’s basketball court!” Mrs Hanns reported, seeking explanation.

The girls surprise changed to horror immediately as they exchanged annoyed glances.
“We are not mistakes!” Ruby defended in anger.
Trisha and Chloe looked at her in hilary. How could Ruby be concerned about them being called mistake when the main news right then was them ambushing Ryan! Trisha rolled her eyeballs.

“Ambush? We didn’t ambush Ryan! We didn’t even touch him!” Chloe defended
“Then what happened?” Mrs Hanns asked strictly.
“Principal Hanns, Chloe and Ruby had nothing to do with it. It was I who hit him a basketball on the head as revenge, because he purposely threw a ball at Ruby’s.” Trisha replied. Mrs Hanna’s features softened a bit.

“Oh, so he started it?.” She asked
“YES!” Trisha answered
“And you completed it.” Mrs Hanns answered. Trisha opened her mouth in defense but she was interrupted
“Miss Chapman, Mrs Jacks, you’re free to go. Fetch me the Prime minister’s kid. He’ll take your places.” Mrs Hanns instructed

Chloe and Ruby looked at Trisha in slight pity. Trisha gave them an unconcerned look
“Fetch?” Ruby repeated
“Our places?” Chloe asked, wanting to know the punishment awaiting Trisha.
“Leave!” Mrs Hanns ordered and they stood to leave
“Bye, Tris” They chorused and left.

Trisha faced Mrs Hanns
“Are you going to punish me for hitting that jerk?” Trisha asked in disdain
“No, I’m going to thank you” Mrs Hanns replied in sarcasm.
Trisha scoffed loudly
Mrs Hanns eyed her
“Your punishment will be doubled, now if you don’t mind the gestures you advertise in my office, Miss Robbins!” She warned her. Trisha looked away.
They were silent for some minutes, with Mrs Hanns gong through a pipe of papers on her table and Trisha doing nothing.
There came a knock on the door and Mrs Hanns gave a permission for entrance.

Ryan came into the office wearing that his proud look on his face. Trisha glared at him and he glared back.
Trisha stylishly opened her bag and put the eye piece in her ear like she was massaging a piece of her ear. Then she wore the specks.

Mrs Hanns rose a questioning brow at her
“Sunshades.” Trisha lied and faked a smile.
“Have a seat, Anderson.” Mrs Hanns said and Ryan obeyed.
“What’s this all about?” He requested arrogantly
“Who first made a move with the ball?” Mrs Hanns asked ignoring his question.
“What ball?” He asked and glared at Trisha. Then he realized what they were talking about.

He rested his head on his palms in slight shame “Oh shit!” He said
Mrs Hanns waited patiently for his answer.
He brought up his head
“Ok, fine! I did! So what?” He answered without the slightest remorse. Trisha scrunched up her nose in detest, a gesture she had become accustomed to lately.

“So what is, that you’re going to serve detention for it!” She answered and looked at Trisha “Both of you!”
“What?” They chorused
“Since when did that small crimeless crime become eligible for detention?” Trisha demanded.

“Since the prime minister’s kid started attending my school.” Mrs Hanns answered carelessly
Ryan was annoyed “You can’t put me on detention!” He said
“And why is that?” Mrs Hanns asked, standing.
“Because, my dad could snap his fingers and your job could be taken from you.” He said aggressively. Trisha scoffed loudly.

“Ha ha. He can’t do that… I’m his side chick!” Mrs Hanns said leaving the desk
“What?” Ryan shouted in horror
“Just kidding!” Mrs Hanns sang.
“What an expensive joke!” Trisha said in a chuckle and Ryan glared at her.

“You know, if you leave me and him here, I might end up killing him!” Trisha stated.
“I wasn’t planning for you two to serve detention same place! I wouldn’t want him to make advances at you or you two end up smooching on my desk!” Mrs Hanns said.

“Like that’ll ever happen!” Trisha said rolling her eyes.
“No… Trisha! Don’t let her take him away from your sight! Protest!” She heard Becky say in her ear and her eyes widened.

“Come on, Ryan, lemme take you elsewhere” Mrs Hanns said and Ryan stood up with a groan.
Trisha spoke up immediately
“On a second thought!…” She said a little louder than normal, getting their attention
“Err… Mrs Hanns… I.. I.. I’ll appreciate it if he stays” She stuttered and hated immediately the expression on Ryan’s face. Fool!
“And why is that?” Mrs Hanns asked

“Tell them you have a phobia!” Becky suggested
“I have… A phobia!” She blurted out, confusing her audience. She began to massage her hair nervously
“I have a phobia of being alone…” She said “… Its really serious, I end up killing myself whenever it happens” She lied. She was sure she heard Becky’s disappointed sigh
“Seriously? You end up killing yourself? Thats the best you could come up with?” Becky told her
Mrs Hanns studied her for a while.

Ryan’s brow furrowed.
Trisha could see that he had seen the stupidity in her excuse and she wished he would just shut up.
It was obvious that Mrs Hanns did not notice anything because she said

“Fine! You two will serve detention here! I’ll release you after two periods.!” Her expression was an angry one “No smooching on my table!” She yelled and went out.
They heard the door lock and her heels stomping on the floor till it faded.

They faced each other
“Seriously? You end up killing yourself? I wonder how come you’re still alive!” Ryan said rolling his eyes
“Shut up, you fool!” Trisha said in annoyance
“If you’re seeing this as an opportunity to be alone with me so you could seduce me, it ain’t gonna work!” Ryan said proudly.

“Listen, you fool! you’re the last damn person I’ll ever want to make out with!” Trisha said with a huge frown.
Ryan scoffed “Like I care!” He said obviously unconcerned.
And there was a pause
“I think you’re lying, Trisha! He’s cute.” Becky said in her ear
“Shut up!” Trisha yelled
Ryan’s brow furrowed “I didn’t say anything!”

“Well… Let your inner voice shut up!” She yelled again in stupid defense..
She almost slapped her forehead in disappointment. This was going to be an hour of h0rror with that fool.
