Chapter 6
Cora keeps looking at the people walking around the hospital from outside through the window in her ward.
she let out a sighs.
“why do I feel that I don’t belong here”. she muttered to herself.
And the cracked opened and Clark enters.
“Hi Cora”. Clark said waving at her.
And Cora nods her head with a smile.
Clark bits his lips and looks at her.
“so how are you Cora”.
“Am fine”. she muttered and sits in the bed.
“so when will you be discharged”.
“soon i guess”.
“so does that mean you will resume school Soon”.
“I guess so,,,but do I really go to school, somehow I feel that I haven’t been to a normal school setting before”. she asked.
And Clark sits beside her and said.
“That because you can’t remember anything about your past Cora”.
she looks at him and asked.
“Do you know me that well”.
And Clark nods with a smile.
“so what kind of person am I, do I also have friends apart from you and Audrey”.
“Audrey is the only friend you have, you weren’t the friendly type”.
“was I mean”.
“kind of, let not talk about that now, you have to take things little by little”.
And Cora nods with a smile.
Clark looks at her and keeps wondering if she was really Cora.
“hmm, Clark”.
“Yes Cora, do you want anything”.
“not really,,,where is Audrey,didn’t she come with you”. she asked so innocently.
“she is in school Cora”.
“in school, so why are you here”. she asked.
“well I came to see you, and also show you some of our classmates so you will at least know some of them when you resume, should I show you”. . Clark asked.
Cora looks at him and nods with a smile.
And Clark brought out a big book containing the list of students in their class, and began showing them to her.
“who is this”. she asked pointing at Ryan.
Clark looks at Ryan’s picture and then to Cora.
“he is Ryan cardinal,,his mom also own half of Genie high school”.
“so my mom and his mom owns Genie high”.
And Clark nods his head.
Cora nods and looks at Ryan’s picture again.
“And who is she”.
“That Cassie Julius, she is Ryan’s friend and also the one who you hate so much”.
And Cora looks at him.
“I,,,I hate someone, why”.
“That because she is the only one Ryan talks to in school”.
“And what does that got to do with me”.
“That because you have a crush on Ryan”.
Cora looks at Clark and back to the book, even if she finds him handsome, she felt that she hasn’t love someone before.
she tries to recall everyone Inside the book, but nothing could possibly come out from her head.
she looks at Clark and wonders if she was the person they are claiming she is.
“Cora are you alright”. Clark asked when she saw her pale her face was.
“yes am fine”. she replies with a smile and Clark continues looking at her, also wondering if Amnesia change people to someone else.

Cora enters the mansion with Emily, and she kept looking at the entire place in shock.
“mom do we live here”. she asked looking around.
“yes we do, this has been our home ever since you were born Cora”.
Cora sighs and looks around the whole place again, something wasn’t right, if really she has been living here since she was born, she would have felt it, but it felt like this is her first time entering this big mansion. she thought inwardly as her eyes keeps rolling around the place.
“Cora”. Arianna and James called at once, bringing her back to life.
Cora looks at them and then to Emily.
Emily smiles and said.
“That Arianna and James, They are your step sister and father”.
“my real dad is late”. she asked.
And Emily nods.
“how are you doing Cora, sorry we couldn’t visit you in the hospital”.
“is fine dad, am okay now”. she replies with a smile.
And both Arianna and James Jaws dropped in surprise.
*Did she just call me dad*. James muttered inwardly and looks at Emily.
Cora smiles and walks up to Arianna and wrapped her hands around her smiling.
“so you are my step sister”. she asked smiling.
And Arianna slowly nods her head, still wondering if it was the cora she knows that was in front of her.
“Am so glad I have a sister, so how old are you”.
“14”. Arianna answers trying to hide her surpriness”.
“mom said am 18, so which means am 4 years older than you, does that mean am your big sister”. she asked smiling.
Arianna looks at her for a while and nods her head.
And Cora smiles.
“Am so Happy I have a family, even if I can’t remember anything, I always feel am alone in this world”.
“well you aren’t Cora, because you have us,,,,,,,Nadia”.
“yes ma Emily”.
“show Cora to her room, Cora freshen up come down stairs to eat with us”
“okay mom”. she replies with a smile.
“come with me Cora, I will take you to your room”.
“Thanks alot ma”. she replies smiling at her.
And both left, and when they were out of sight, Arianna quickly said.
“mom what with Cora, she is smiling, she called the man who she hates dad, and she also said am her sister, she even called Nadia, ma, the Cora will all know will never do such”.
“I know that too Arianna, I have also been wondering why she changed so much too, but I guess May be she is acting this way because she has Amnesia”. Emily said.
“Are you sure is because of her Amnesia, a person’s behavior never change no matter what Emily, are you sure she is really Cora”.
“of course am sure of it James, Cora doesn’t have a LOOK ALIKE because she wasn’t born Twins, I gave birth to Cora, so am sure of it”.
“But is weird mom, is as if we were talking to a different Cora a while ago”. Arianna said.
“At least will should be happy, that for now the old Cora is gone, and you both can be a father and sister just like you have always wanted right”.
Arianna and James looks at her and nods their heads and Emily smiles.

Cora keeps walking around the room smiling at how beautiful it looks.
“is so beautiful, is this really my room, but why do I feel I haven’t live in luxury all my life”. she asked, still looking around.
She opens the big wardrobe and the numorous clothes she saw in there shocked her.
“Are this all mine”. she muttered.
And her eyes also got a shoe racks and bag racks, and she gasps in shock.
“do I really own of this, why do I have so much clothes shoes and bags”. Cora muttered in surprised.
she picks one of the bags in the bag racks and wear it.
she looks at herself in the mirror.
“is so beautiful”. she muttered with a smile, and somehow she felt that this was the first time she has ever worn sure.
Emily enters the room and looks at Cora, and smiles.
“you like the bag”. she asked walking up to Cora.
Cora looks and smiles.
“I do mom, is so beautiful”.
“really,,that was what I got you on your 18th birthday, but you rejected it, saying it was outdated”.
“Really I said that, was I that hard headed”.
And Emily nods.
“yes you were, very very hard headed”.
“sorry about that”.
“Is okay Cora, am just glad that you aren’t the cranky Cora, even if you lost your memories”.
“so I own everything in here”.
“yes you do Cora, that because you are a fashion freak, when you were still a kid, you will always get so mad at me if I didn’t get you the latest designers clothes shoes or bags”.
“really” she asked smiling”.
“yes”.
“Then I must have a pain in the neck”.
“yes you were”. Emily said, and both laugh.
“Dinner is ready Cora, let eat together”. Emily said .
Cora nods and held her hand.
“let go mom”. Cora said smiling.
Emily looks at her and smiles.

Cora stars at the foods in front of her with shock written all over eyes.
“why aren’t you eating Cora”.
“Are we the only ones who are going to eat all of this”. she.asked.
And Arianna and James looks at her.
“of course Cora”.
“but isn’t it too much, I mean we are just four, how can we have a lot of dishes of different kinds on the table”.
“Cora will always have this kinds of dishes on the table everyday”.
“is way too much Mom, you can feed another family of six with this”. Cora said and looks at the maids and continues.
“you all should sit down too, let eat together”. she said with a smile.
And this shocked Emily, Arianna and James.
“Cora, are you sure about that, you never associate with the maids”.
“why not mom, they are humans too, come on have a sit”. Cora said smiling.
The maid looks at Emily, and she gave them a go ahead sigh.
And the maids smiles and sits down.
Cora smiles and stood up to her feet.
“Am going to serve all of you, first is going to be my lovely mom, then my dad, then my kids sister, and lastly to my unnies”. she said smiling.
And Emily, Arianna, James and the maids keeps looking at her, as she serves them.
