Chapter 8
“Who is Mina”. Audrey asked again.
“huh, Mina, who is she”. she asked.
“I should be the one asking you that Cora, You just called me Mina, but am clearly not Mina, and why are you talking about going for a morning Mass. Audrey asked.
Cora shakes her head and looks at her.
“I don’t know either Audrey, is just slip out from my mouth, and about the morning Mass, it feels I have always waken up to attend it”.
Audrey looks at her with a puzzle face and said.
“you are acting so weird Cora, you attend a morning Mass, from what I know about you, you never attended one before, and am sure you never even attend church once”.
“huh really”. she muttered.
“yes, so stop searching for a Habit, and get prepared for school Cora”.
“okay Audrey”. she said in a low voice and slowly enters the bathroom.
“like seriously, since when did she start Caring about going to church, is she really Cora”. Audrey asked no one in particular, as her face was filled with Confussion.

? CAFETERIA ?
“wow,,,the cafeteria is so beautiful Audrey”. Cora sad smiling.
“yes it is, go andsit somewhere why I get you something to eat”.
“huh, why”.
“That because I always get you something to eat, and if I don’t you always get mad”.
“That not right Audrey, let order our food together”. she said with a smile, and held Audrey’s hand, as she stands in the queue.
“what are you doing Cora”.
“waiting for my turn, seems like is going to take a while before it gets to us”.
“you Know what, am really missing the old Cora, yes I know she is annoying sometimes, but the Cora I know won’t stand in a queue with other students”.
“huh,,,how”.
“just watch me Cora”. Audrey said and Cora watch her as she walks to the beginning of the queue.
“Everyone get lost, the queen of Genie high wants to order”. Audrey said.
And immediately they start leaving the line one after the other, and Cora opens her mouth in shock.
“Cora,,come over here, what are you waiting for”.. Audrey said.
Cora bits her lips and went to where Audrey was and face the students.
“sorry about what Audrey said, you can go ahead and order your meals, I will just wait for my turn”. she said innocently and it surprised everyone.
?Did the jezebel just said that.
?I think I didn’t hear correctly
?is her Amnesia now affecting her Jezebel behavior.
? I guess so.
the students murmured to one another looking at Cora.
“No one orders Food until Cora does get that”. Audrey said.
And Cora looks at her.
And the students nods.
“go ahead and order Cora”.
“But these students came before me”. she said innocently.
“you don’t always care about them Cora, so act like the queen you always are Cora, go ahead and order your food”. Audrey commanded.
And Cora looks at the students and then to Audrey, who gave her a go ahead look.
Cora bits her lips and faced the cafeteria Lady.
“Good afternoon ma”. she said smiling.
And the cafeteria Lady looks at her in shock, the Cora she knows never greeted her not even once.
“I will love to have Japchae (stir fried Noddles)”. she said with a smile.
And the cafeteria Lady just look at her.

“since when did you start eating Japchae Cora”. Audrey asked after they have ordered their meal.
“why Audrey, is it not the kind of meal I eat”.
Audrey sighs and said.
“I don’t know Cora, is as if I don’t know you anymore”. Audrey looks around the cafeteria and when she sees Cassie she smiles.
“come with me Cora”.
“where are we going”.
“To remind you of the old you”. she said and walks towards Cassie and Cora quickly follows her.
“Hi Cassie”. Audrey said.
And when Cassie looks at them, her heart skips on seeing Cora.
“can you move somewhere else, because the queen of Genie high, choose to sit here”.
“okay Audrey”. Cassie said and quickly stands up to her feet.
while Cora wonders why everyone fears her alot.
Cassie made an attmpt to walk away, and Audrey set her leg for her, and Cassie falls to the ground and smashed her face inside the tray of food which she was carrying.
“oopps sorry Cassie, you should know how to walk”. Audrey said mockery.
“why did you do that Audrey”. Cora asked.
“Am just reminding you of the old you Cora, what I did just now is nothing compared to what you have done to other students Cora’.
“I don’t know what you are talking about Audrey, but bullying others isn’t right, is wrong in the sight of God”.
And the students looks at her.
?Did she just call God, the Jezebel knows God.
The students murmured to one another.
Cora sighs and squat beside Cassie.
“Are you alright Cassie, your face is covered with food, let me help you out”. Cora said and brought out her hanki to wipe off the food particles in Cassie’s face, but Cassie jerks her hand off.
“what wrong Cassie am just trying to help”.
“you are more worst than her Cora, you just don’t know it yet because you are suffering from Amnesia”. Cassie said and walks away.
And Cora stood up to her feet and looks at Audrey.
“Audrey, you should say sorry to Cassie”.
“And why Cora, you of all people taught me never to apologise to anyone”.
“But bullying others is wrong Audrey”.
“says the Almighty queen of Genie high, you Know what, I really miss the old you Cora, you may bossy and always yells at me, but still I prefer the old you”. Audrey said and walks away.
And Cora continues to look at her as she walks away.

Cassie was still cleaning the food particles in her face and uniform walking towards the restroom, and Ryan jumps out from a corner.
“Cassie,,,, what happened to you”. He asked after seeing how her face and uniform were covered with oils from food particles.
“Is nothing Ryan”. Cassie said and tries to walk away, but Ryan drags her back.
“This is nothing Cassie, who did this to you, is it Cora”.
“Well…..”
“I knew it, here I was thinking that she is kind of different from the old Cora, but I was wrong, Even with her having Amnesia, she still act like the Jezebel herself”. Ryan said and leaves.
“Ryan where are you going, it wasn’t……” Cassie stops halfway since Ryan was already out of sight.

Cora stands at the roof top of the school, as she watch students from there.
Some where T-chatting, some where playing and others were either walking or sitting down.
“Do I really belong here, why does non of this seem familiar to me, is my name really Cora”. She muttered looking at the students.
“Cora”.
She looks behind her, and sees Ryan approaching her.
“Ryan”. She muttered and came down from where she was standing.
“Ryan what……” Cora stops halfway because immediately Ryan approach her, and pushed her to the floor.
And Cora looks at him with shock written all over her face.
“Who gave you the right to treat Cassie that why huh!!”. He yells at her.
Cora stood up to her feet and said.
“What are you talking about Ryan, I didn’t do anything to Cassie”.
“You are the only one capable of doing that to her, what has she ever done to you, that even with you lossing your memories, you still want to hurt her”.
“I have never hurt anyone in my entire life”.
“Oh really says the Queen of Evil”.
“I am not Evil Ryan, I haven’t done anything Evil in my entire life, I know I can’t remember who or what I was before, but am sure of one thing I am not Evil, I haven’t hurt anyone before”.
“Yes you have Cora, you have hurt alot of people Cora, you are pure evil, why won’t you leave Cassie alone, she is just an innocent orphan who wants to graduate peacefully”.
“I already told you Ryan, I didn’t do anything to Cassie”.
“And why should I believe you Cora”.
“Because I don’t tell lies”.
Ryan scoffs and said.
“You,,,Cora,,,don’t tell lies,,, just a reminder since you can’t remember anything about the person you were before, you are a liar, a Jezebel and the devil’s advocate, the next time you do anything to Cassie again, I won’t just push you to the floor, I will pushed you off the cliff too, so you can finally die, Devil”. Ryan said in anger and walks away.
Cora held her head trying to recall anything of her being mean to others but nothing seems to pop out from her head.
“Why can’t I remember anything, people keep saying am evil, am a Jezebel, but why can’t I remember doing being any of that, why do I keep having this feeling that I haven’t done anything they accused me of, who am i, am I really Cora”. She muttered to herself sobbing in tears.

Cassie walks up to Ryan immediately she saw walking towards the classroom.
“Where did you wander off to Ryan”.
“I just had a word with the jezebel”.
“Ryan, it wasn’t Cora”. Cassie said and Ryan looks at her.
“What do you mean it wasn’t Cora”.
“Audrey was the one who intentionally set her leg for me, so i could fall, Cora was even trying to help me, but I didn’t let her”.
“Really,,she wasn’t the one”. Ryan asked in muttered.
“No Ryan, I was about to tell you when you storm off, I think the old Cora is gone Ryan”. Cassie said.
And Ryan looks at her and gulmps down nothing.
Cora enters the principal’s office and Mr Jung on seeing her quickly sits up right.
“Cora”. He calls.
“Good afternoon sir”. She greeted respectfully, and Mr Jung’s jaw dropped in surprise on hearing her greet him.
“What wrong sir”. She asked on seeing how surprised his face was.
“Nothing Cora, what brings you here”. Mr Jung asked.
Cora sighs and sits in the chair.
“Is it really true, that am a bad student, I mean a really bad student”.
Mr Jung looks at her and nods his head.
Cora bits her lips and said.
“Can I see the records of all the things I have done”.
“Sure Cora”. Mr Jung said and brought out the black book of Genie high, and gave it to Cora.
Cora glance through all the details of what she has done before and she couldn’t believe she was capable of doing such.
“Did I really do all of this, I almost drowl someone to dealth, and l aslo landed Cassie in the hospital, and not only that, I bullied alot of students”. Cora asked as tears falls down her eyes.
Mr Jung was shock to see her crying, because the Cora he knows, don’t even know how to cry.
“Yes Cora”. He managed to answer.
“But why didn’t I get expelled”.
“That because your mom owns half of this school Cora, and there was no way I could do that,,and your mom was always trying to put up with you, let just say everyone here fears you alot, because you were really good at doing Evil things, and that why am surprised by the new Cora, is if you are someone else”. Mr Jung said and Cora looks at him.
Was she really all what they claim she is. She thought inwardly looking at the book again.
