Chapter 18
Cora quickly pushed Clark away, the moment she came back to her senses.
She held her lips and looks at him.
“Wh,,,what was that for Clark”. She asked in a muttered.
“That because I love you Cora, I love you alot”.
“Am sorry Clark, but I only see you as a friend”.
“Is it because of Ryan”.
“Huh”.
“You like him right, even before you had Amnesia, you have always like him”.
“Am not sure about that Clark,,,, and am so sorry Clark”.
“Is fine Cora, am sorry too, that I kssed you”.
“Are you mad at me”.
Clark looks at her and slowly shakes his head.
“No cora, you already told me you don’t like me, and will probably never will,,I guess is time to forget about you”.
“Clark”.
“Am fine Cora, you should go in now and have some rest”.
“We are still friends right”. She asked with a sad face.
“Yes we are Cora,,,am happy at least even if you don’t like me back, you are still willing to be friends with me unlike before”. Clark said.
And Cora looks at him.
“Go in now Cora”.
Cora nods with a little smile and enters the girl’s dormetory.
Clark looks at her and sighs.

Clark lay in his bed inside his room, and he keeps rolling around the bed lost in thought, he sighs and sits in the bed and touch his lips.
“Why didn’t I feel anything when I kssed her”. Clark muttered to himself.
? FLASHBACK –
FOUR MONTHS AGO.?
Shouts and noises could be heard from the students as they drank and dance to their heart content.
It was the 10th year anniversary of Genie high, and it was been cerebrated, which give the entire students the privilege to drink and do whatever they want.
Clark watch Cora from where she was sitting as she keeps drinking with Audrey who keeps pouring more drinks for her.
He wanted to stop Audrey from giving her more drinks, but he was so afraid that Cora might get mad at him.
He watched her, as Audrey whispers something to her, and she nods and drunkly stood up.
“Where is she going,,she is already drunk”. Clark muttered, and quickly follows Cora who already left the cerebration ground.
Cora in a drunk state went up the roof top searching for something, no one could tell, and being so drunk with her eyes all blurry, she almost fell from the Cliff of the rooftop, but Clark quickly pulls her back.
“What are you doing Cora”.
Cora looks at him with blurry eyes and said pointing at him.
“Ohhh,,,look who will have here,,,is the Clark Lee,,the boy I hate so much”.
Clark sighs and said.
“What are you doing here in the rooftop Cora, you almost died”.
“Audrey said I could find Ryan here, but I can’t find him,,where could he be”. She said walking back to the Cliff, and Clark pulls her back.
“You are drunk Cora, why did you drink so much”.
“Having some fun”. Cora yells jumping and laughing.
Clark chuckles and said.
“I didn’t know you know how to laugh,,I guess I will always have to get you drunk so you can always smile”.
Cora looks at him and pouted out her lips, and Clark looks at her lips and back to her.
“Cora”.
“What!!!”. She yells and giggles.
“Will you remember anything if you wake up tomorrow”.
“You said am drunk right,,,,so I guess I won’t remember anything”. Cora giggles, and flings her hair to the back.
“Really you won’t”.
And Cora nods with her eyes closed.
“Fine then I hope you do forget about this, because I don’t want to get slap by you tomorrow”. Clark said and pulls her closer and kss her.
And Cora who was so drunk, kssed him back too.
And Clark felt the desire to deepen the kiss, as he felt butterflies tickling in his Tommy.

Clark touch his lips again and sighs.
“Although Cora doesn’t remember the kiss will share Four months ago, but didn’t I feel anything when I kssed her today, and why didn’t my heart get hurt like it used to when she said she doesn’t like me, and why does my heart just wants to be friends with her,,is she really the Cora I fell in love with,,,or is my love for her slowly fading away”. Clark muttered, touching his heart.
He sighs and looks at Ryan’s bed, and he wasn’t there, and he wonder where he went.

Ryan sighs as he removes the duvex from his head, and sits in the bed.
This will the tenth time he will doing this, he scatters his hair, as the image of Clark kssing Cora pop out in his head.
“Why can’t you get off the kssing scene from your head Ryan, and why are you so mad that Clark kssed Cora, you were the one who told him to court Cora again, so why are you mad,,,,and is Cora, Cora Tiva, the girl you hate, so why you feeling this way Ryan”. Ryan asked himself, as he tries to get some sleep which he couldn’t.

“Ain’t you going to school today”. Nadily Ryan’s mom asked when he came downstairs.
“No mom, but I will go back to the dorm towards evening”. Ryan answers and sits down, and the maid quickly pours a glass of orange juice for him.
“Huh,,,,why Ryan,,the Ryan I know won’t miss school even when he is down with a fever”. Nadily said looking surprised.
“I just want to clear my head over something, because I think am going crazy”. Ryan said as he glumps down the glass of juice
“Huh,,,you are going crazy,,,,oh my Ryan,,,,are you by chance inlove”. Nadily said.
And Ryan chocked from the juice he was drinking, coughing.
“Are you okay son”.
“Mom!!! you almost killed me with your statement!”. Ryan half yells rubbing his chest.
“I didn’t say anything, I only ask if you are by chance in love, because people go crazy when they fall in love,,,,and you are 18 son, so is okay if you do, so tell me Ryan, is it Cassie,,,or Maybe is Cora,, because Emily told me she has changed so much,,,,do you like her now, that she has changed into a kind-hearted girl”.
Ryan sighs and stood up.
“Where are you going Ryan”.
“To my room”.
“But you haven’t even touched your break fast yet”.
“I lost my appetite thanks to you”. Ryan said and leaves for his room.
“Did I say something wrong”. Nadily asked the maids and they shake their heads.
“Then why is he mad”. Nadily muttered.
Ryan lay in the bed as his mom’s voice echoes in his ear.
*Do you like Cora now, that she has changed into a kind-hearted girl*
Ryan shakes his head, and puts his head phone on, and lays back in the bed.
