CHAPTER 42

And as you may have already guessed, I have feelings for her. I was the one who kssed her first at the party. However, she didn’t kss me back.

She’s not interested in me the same way. I have feelings for her, but she doesn’t reciprocate.

I won’t stand by and watch you guys pick on her because of what happened.

Onda is my friend, and she’s too precious to be treated unfairly by all of you.

You can say negative things about me, but I won’t allow you to do that to her.

From now on, anyone who tries to act smart will have to deal with me.

If any of you have something to say, say it to my face. I hope that’s clear!” She said, observing their faces.

“Good… enjoy your meals, friends,” she smiled, carrying her tray of food. Looking at Onda, she winked at her, and Onda smiled back.

Agnes left the cafeteria, while Onda returned her gaze to Jade, who was now looking at her.

Jade offered her a smile, and she happily returned it.

“Whoa… that was cool of her. I was about to say something, and she beat me to it,” Kim said, while Onda only smiled.

“Thank you, Kim.”

“Just eat.”

RESTROOM.

Kim cleaned her hands as she left the restroom, but then a hand suddenly grabbed her, pinning her against the wall.

“Ah!” Diego groaned as Kim kneed him in the groin, and he immediately released her.

She started walking away, but he limped after her, holding his hand back.

“Wait, Kim… just wait and listen to me.”

“Why do I have to do that?”

“Because you misunderstood!”

Kim scoffed and folded her arms.

“You can’t just break up with me like this. At least listen to what I’ve got to say.”

“Is there any reasonable explanation for your actions, Diego?”

“I know… I know you’re mad, but…”

“Yeah, I’m mad… so just get lost before I lose it completely.”

Kim’s phone buzzed, and she checked the message.

?”Tell me, Kim… am I a good kisser?” ? It was a message from Jay. Kim hissed as she saw the message, but unfortunately, Diego saw it too.

“What do you think you’re doing!” she blurted out when he snatched the phone from her.

“You two kssed?” he asked, clearly annoyed.

“Give me back my phone,” she snapped, taking the phone back from him.

“What the heck, Kim! It’s only been a day, and you’re already cheating on me!”

“Cheat on you?” She scoffed.

“Do you even have the guts to say that? Get lost!” She pushed him away by the chest, walking away angrily.

“Shoot! Forget you, Kim!” Diego kicked the air angrily.

Jayden whistled happily as he approached his locker. But his happiness died down the moment he opened his locker and saw a note placed there.

He picked it up and unwrapped it to see what was inside.

? How dare she kss you? ? was scribbled roughly on the note.

“Darn it!” Jay grunted, slamming his locker shut. Almost immediately, he hurried away from there.

Jay ran around the school like a maniac, looking for Kim.

“Where the heck is she? Why isn’t she picking up!” He groaned as he searched everywhere for her.

Ruffling his hair in frustration, his eyes roved around, scanning everywhere. But then, he caught sight of something—or rather, someone—holding a flower pot on the rooftop.
