I stepped into the sitting room as demanded and was surprised with the gathering
On the left couch was two unknown faces staring blinkly at me, directing my gaze to the right couch my eyes landed on Esther
What is who doing here??
Beside her was Kelvin engrossed on his iPad while chewing on a gum and then the last but not the least
Noah! He was sitting alone on a double couch with black glasses and then his phone on his palm
I swallowed and sat next to Esther as the smile’s at me
It’s late in the evening already but they demanded for me presence, I should be preparing for tomorrow school
Immediately I sat down , one of the unknown men cleared his throat
“I hope everyone is present now so that we can commence?” He asked no one in particular
No one responded and I didn’t even tried making a move cause am lost
“I will take that as yes” he says slowly maybe feeling embarrassed or so
He turned to look at me sending cold shiver to my vein
“Ms Amily right?” For a while I didnt know if I should reply or not but yet I swallowed before nodding at him
“You will have to sign this” he said handing me a paper
I collected it with trembling hands then stared around, Noah already dropped his phone but he wasn’t even looking at my side
Kelvin has dropped his too and his eyes were on me same as Esther
“What is it about?” I asked slowly not attempting to open the file
“You have to sign those papers miss Amily, The paper you’re holding now will be a witness of your relationship with Noah”
“What? I have no relationship with him” I muttered turning to look at him but he looked so absentminded
“Let’s go start to the point here” Kelvin interrupts
“You insisted on trying to make Noah Fall in love with you right?” He asked and for once I felt that the ground will open and swallow me
Why are they asking me this in front of him ?? Nonetheless I nodded
“Right, now listen! Our family is responsible and well known family, one of a kind and we won’t let anyone bring down our reputation so we decided that if you’re ready to make my brother Noah fall in love with you within three months which I know is impossible then you will have to sign those papers that if he eventually he falls for you, you aren’t gonna leave him no matter what! I won’t let you play his heart, If you leave him you will have to die”
This time I gasp! Is this people for well??
“But……….but what if I couldn’t make him fall for me? I stammered
“You will still get your pay and free life” this time Esther tells me
I stared at them for a well wondering whether if I wanted this
Can I ever make him fall for him? What if I succeed but we have obstacles? I can fight them right??
What if…… What if I didn’t get enough money for the cure of my heart trauma? What if I die??
I really wish to experience what love is all about but not like this
Not forcing someone to love me but I feel like this is the person I wanted
I want it to be him but I guess it won’t be possible
I will just have to try, I never believe in giving up
I stared at Esther but she took Her gaze off me, I slowly picked up the pen and signed the paper
“Congratulations Ms Amily” With That the two men walked out
“Congrats!” Esther Pecked my cheeks smiling boldly and then walks out
“I will see you later twinne” Kelvin says to Noah then stood up and walked towards me but stopped
“He’s a hard nut crack him” he muttered
Those words………..
I turned to Noah and he has this devilish smirk on his face
This isn’t what people described him as…is he like this when it comes to love??
Well I think my story with him just began
But one thing I won’t take from him is rudeness!
My story with Noah” I slowly wrote down in my diary the moment I entered my room
*Never give up! It never takes a day to be successful! Try ! Try ! And try again* I reconciled daddy’s word
I won’t give up….. Not now
