CHAPTER 84
DESIREE’S APARTMENT***
Bryan stood up from the sofa immediately Desiree enters the house.
He has ealier searched for her when she ran away, but he couldn’t find her and his worries increased when nightfall came and she wasn’t yet back.
“Desiree thank God you’re finally home. I was so worried about you” He said.
“Really? You were worried about me. If you had me at heart, you won’t have done what you did” Desiree said.
“Desiree I am….”
“I don’t want to hear your sorry Bryan, is only going to make matters worst. At least now we’re even”.
“What does that mean Desiree?”
“I once called you a freeloader, right? I’ll take what you did to me as a payback for I calling you a freeloader”.
“Desiree it hasn’t gotten to that. I’m sorry, I had no idea you love me. if I did, I won’t have played with your feelings. I’m so sorry Desiree” Bryan apologize.
“Goodnight Bryan” Desiree said and entered her room. Bryan was about knocking on Desiree’s room door, when he got a call from Nadia’s dad.
“Hello Dad” He said, since Mr. McDonald asked him to call him Dad.
“How are you son?”
“I’m ok, you?”
“I’m good. Do you know Nadia already left her mom’s house”.
“She did?” Bryan asked looking surprised.
“Yes she did. She has start acting her age. Can you please talk to her. She has been moody since she arrived at my mansion” Mr. McDonald said.
Bryan sighs dipping his hand in his hair.
“Alright. I’ll talk to her tomorrow”.
“Thanks Bryan. You should also dropped by at the mansion one of these days”.
“I’ll dad. You too, bye.” Bryan said and ended the call. He raised his hand to knock on Desiree’s door, but halted from doing so.
“Maybe I should just leave her alone” Bryan muttered and went for his room.

Desiree came out from the bathroom after having a steamy shower.
She sits on the bed, thinking about what Bryan did to her and she won’t deny that she is still feeling so hurt right now.
She was still deep in thought, when her phone chimes. She looks at the message and it was from Clark, both exchanged numbers.
? ARE YOU AT HOME NOW?
“Why is he making it his headache?” Desiree asked herself, but nevertheless, she gaved answered to his question, dropping her phone on the bed and another message came from Clark again.
? ARE YOU FREE TOMORROW?
Desiree furrowed her eyebrows, she hasn’t even reply when another message came from him again.
? IF YOU ARE FREE TOMORROW, THEN LET’S HANGOUT TOGETHER, IS GOING TO BE MY TREAT.
“And who told you I want to go out with you. I won’t” Desiree said and was about typing NO, when another message came from him again.
? I WON’T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER
“Is he a psychopath, simply because he comforted me earlier, doesn’t mean he should order me around”.
? I AM NOT TRYING TO ORDER YOU AROUND, I JUST WANT TO HELP YOU EASE THE PAIN YOU’RE GOING THROUGH
“Is he a mind reader? How come he keeps replying to everything I have in mind?”.
? BUT IF YOU AREN’T COMFORTABLE WITH ME, YOU CAN REPLY NO.
Desiree takes in her lips before replying to his message.
~I AM IN. She typed clicking send, and patiently waited for his reply.
“Why is he not replying back?” Desiree asked after waiting for minutes for his reply.
? WERE YOU WAITING FOR MY REPLY? I WAS HELPING AUNT TESSA OUT. SEE YOU TOMORROW, DREAM ABOUT ME.
Desiree smiles lightly after reading his message. “Dream about you? You’re really Crazy” She said and falls to the bed and a smile appeared on her face.

NEXT DAY=HOSPITAL***
The door of the ward Carding was in, opened and a man wearing all black, enters the ward, looking at the sleeping Carding. He walks closer to him, caressing his hair softly.
“Long time no see, my son” He said touching his face and Odessa enters the ward, her eyes widened when she sees the man in front of her.
“Morris” She said and Morris looks at her.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“Why have you been slighting my calls?” Morris answered her question with a question.
“Come with me” She said and forcefully take him out of the ward, to the back of the hospital.
“What the heck are you doing here Morris!!! Why’re you here!!!” Odessa yells at him.
“I heard Carding is hospitalized, Should I have ignored that, knowing fully well Carding is in critical condition?” Morris said.
“Carding’s health got nothing to do with you Morris”.
“Of course it does, because I’m Carding’s Dad”.
“Vince is his father and not you Morris” Odessa defend.
“Quit with the lies Odessa. Until when will you stop lying to everyone.
You were already two weeks pregnant before you slept with Vince.
You had Carding in your womb way before you slept with Vince, Which makes me Carding’s real Dad and not Vince!!” Morris shouted at her.
