CHAPTER 7
“Nicky you love sugar so much. The popcorn is alreyfilled with sugar and cream and you still want ice cream. My dear there’s water in the fridge in case you need liquid” I said to her and she groaned and stood up.
“You are so boring” she complained as she headed for the fridge.

ALEX’S POV
My father and I have been quiet for the past few minutes after I told him that Andra is my mate and I can’t kill her. I could see how confused he was as I stared at him on my laptop screen.
“Dad” I finally called out. “You are not saying anything”
“What do you want me to say, how do I explain this to everyone, they wouldn’t wanna hear it” he complained.
I groaned and ran my hand through my hair.
“So what do we do, I can’t kill her” I stated.
“Does she know about you, I mean the wolf you?” He asked.
“No” I answered.
“You know what? Show her who you are, we will figure the rest out”
“Dad you don’t understand, Andra hated Wolves after what Caspian did to her family. She will probably hate me if I show her, she might even try to kill me, though she won’t succeed but she’ll strive to” I breathed out.
“Just try, and if she tries anything funny, just bring her back to California, we will know what to do with her” he instructed.
“Do with her? What do you mean by that, I won’t let you people hurt her” I snareled at him.
“No need to be scared Darius. Nobody will hurt her, I’ll make sure of that, just bring her” he replied simply.
“OK dad, I’ll try”
“I hope Caspian has not been giving you so much trouble?” He asked.
“I haven’t heard from him or seen him or felt his presence for a while now, the dude is a pro” I complained.
“His father trained him well to be a lycan warrior” dad informed me.
“But he’s now using it against his own people, what a waste of training” I scoffed.
“Just be very careful son. He is too dangerous and cunning to be ignored”
“Yes dad, I’ll be hanging up now” we bid each other bye and I hung up.
I stretched myself on the bed and began to think.
Show her who I am and bring her home. What if they try to kill her. I swear I’ll kill all of them and kill Caspian as bonus. But dad has already promised me that he’ll make sure no one hurts her, I trust him.
Also, if I show her who I am, she will hate me and won’t accept to go home with me which means I’ll have to either force her or kidnap her, gush I don’t want to do that to her, but I have to. It’s for our own good.
And as for that Bryan, he was just lucky that Andra was there, if not I would have had him for dinner tonight.
I was already in my wolf form, ready to pounce on him when Andra noticed my presence, she pleaded for me to help her, I knew I can’t do that in my wolf form so I had to transform. But if that ba$tard man handles her again, I will hang his head in my bed room and use his body for dinner.

ANDRA’S POV
When Nicky and I got to work the next day, I saw Flora and Diva laughing like the world belongs to them.
Jezebels from the bottonless pit of h*ll. I’m sure they are celebrating my breakup with Bryan. Shameless $lvts, they can have him now, dumb bches.
When we got to the counter, Nicky yelled. “Move it skunks, can’t you see the queens wanna pass” I giggled a bit.
“Queens sounds more like pigs” Diva mocked, she and Flora giggled.
“Have you refilled the fridge flora?” Our M.D yelled from the stairs.
“Yes sir, but Nicky and Andra just got here” she shouted back.
“What has that got to do with refilling the fridge?” M.D asked her.
Nicky and I laughed quietly.
“She meant that they came late sir” Diva detailed.
“A minute late does not count Diva, y’all should go back to work” M.D replied and went back to his office.
“Some people’s jealousy can’t fly an airplane so scratch that” Nicky mocked them.
“Affirmative” I backed up. We laughed and slipped on our Aprons while the two d*vils glared at us. Who cares anyway.

Around noon, I became really pressed, I excused myself and went to the rest room. While I was washing my hands after easing myself, Nicky rushed into the bathroom.
“Jeez louse Nicky, you scared the bomb out of me, what’s up” I asked her.
“Your hubby just arrived, but before I could blink, flora was already at his table taking down his order” she complained as she tried to catch her breath like someone who ran a marathon race.
For some reason i got really angry. I rushed out of the bathroom, when I got to the counter, I looked around for Alex and I saw flora giggling like a f00l in front of him as if he was cracking a joke for her, Diva was smiling as she watched them.

I got really pissed off, I felt like going there, dragging her out and stuff some raw beef into her mouth. I felt really jealous but why…. Why…. Just why, I wish someone will just answer that… Why?
After 2 minutes of giggling, she dragged her stup*d self back to the counter.
“Move it skunks. Can’t you see the queen wanna pass” she bragged and brushed through Nicky and I, Diva giggled.
“Also, some people’s jealousy can’t fly an airplane, so scratch that” Diva backed up. F00ls.
They giggled again, making me more angry but suddenly Nicky started laughing. I began to wonder if she has joined the club of madness.
“Let me give you a piece of advice Flora, don’t try to fix yourself where you don’t fit, cause no matter how hard you try, you aren’t gonna blend in” she fired at flora still laughing.
“What the h*ll are you talking about?” Flora asked her with twisted brows.
“Where’s your customer?” Nicky asked amidst laughter.
I turned to where Alex was sitting only to be staring an empty seat with no Alex on it, not even a piece of his property, it was as if he was never there.
I couln’t help but laugh my heart out, although I felt awkwardly sad that he came here and didn’t ask of me, but the fact that flora looked so embarrassed made me so happy. She dropped her palm slip and stormed out, Diva followed her.
“Good riddance of bad rubhish” Nicky blurted out.
“Nicky” I called her.
“What?” She shrugged.
We laughed.
My phone beeped and I checked it, it was a text from an unknown number.
It read *I came to the restaurant to check up on you but I didn’t see you, I guess you were busy. Beep me when you are free. Alex*
I smiled and saved the number.
“Woooow, I wonder who it was.
Crazy girl. I’m sure she read the text with me.
“Face your work” i jokingly fired at her.
“My work is to make my best friend is happy, so I’m facing my work” she nudged me.
“Bch” I snapped at her.
“Beautiful Individual That Causes Happiness, B-I-T-¢-H, roger that” she blurted out and we laughed.
She tapped my shoulder.
“What is it?” I asked her.
“Hey, check it out, Romeo has come to console Juliet” she pointed out as Bryan walked in.

Jeez, he was looking like a shadow of himself. He even has a bandage on his right wrist. Was he that soft, I mean Alex only squeezed his hand for a few minutes and he’s wearing a bandage.
“Wait, Alex squeezed his hand, you didn’t tell me that part” Nicky complained to my surprise.
“Did I say that out loud?” I asked her.
“Uh, yea, duh, but I’m happy he did though” she cooed. I don’t get it, I’m pretty sure I didn’t think aloud, or did I without knowing. Whatever.
As he got closer, I thought he was going to give me a tongue lashing for being the reason for his bandaged hand but instead he walked passed us into the passage that lead to the back. Two days ago, that would have hurt me, but not anymore.
Nicky wanted to walk out as well so I asked her. “Madam where are you going?”
“Where else? To eavesdrop of course” she answered.
“Will you face your work” I fired at her.
She squeezed her face like a child who was deprived of ice cream. She continued to peep until they came out. Flora was cleaning her face with tissue which indicates that she was crying, crocodile tears of course, and idi*tic Bryan was buying it. Diva was consoling her, only God knows what they must have told him.
Nicky and her trouble, she snapped at them “the bull fighter has convinced the bull to enter the ring and he f00lishly did so, not knowing that his end has come”
It was when Bryan left after shooting me a dagger eye that Diva replied.
“The parrot exposed the thief under the bed forgetting that the thief could steal it too”
“How can an already exposed thief steal something else? Go have your brain checked Diva, cause you’ve clearly lost it” Nicky chuckled out.
She always score the goal when it comes to those two.
