CHAPTER 9
“Beautiful? For a second I thought I was staring at a demi god lycan, and I saw my grave beside me…..” She cried out, I laughed. Nicky can be so dramatic.
“Demi god, really?” I laughed out loud. Nicky can be so dramatic.
“Seriously, when I fell, I thought I fell into it’s mouth, and you call it beautiful. And since when did you start liking wolves to the extent of making one your pet huh?” She asked.
“Since tonight and its not my pet, come on Nicky be serious”
“Well then, where did it spring out from?” She asked again.
“I don’t know, it just came out of nowhere and almost attacked Bryan”
“Was that why he was running like someone who saw Hitlers ghost?” Nicky laughed out. “I saw him anyway. Why did he come here?” She asked.
“He came to tell me that it’s either I accept flora as my room mate or I leave the apartment, and before I could reply, that fearless breed showed itself and Bryan bolted off” I explained, Nicky laughed her heart out.
“Coward, I thought he was a man. But wait a minute, share your apartment with flora? Did she tell him that she’s homeless?” She asked.
“Probably” I shrugged.
“And then the best place she thinks she can be comfortable in is your flat. She must be planning something” Nicky stated.
“I know, which is why I said no”
“I’m sure he will come back and throw you out”
“Of course he will, but it can’t be tonight”
“Definitely not after seeing something that is bigger than his ancestors” Nicky blurted out, we laughed. “But seriously, that thing gave me the creeps, God please don’t let me see it again” she prayed.
“I did that once, it didn’t work” I breathed out.
“Hey, that reminds me, why didnt you kill it and roast it as you promised.” she asked with an amused smile.
“That one was too beautiful for that.” I blushed, she winked at me and we laughed. “Are you still in the mood for ice cream?” I asked her.
“Of course I am, though its too bad that there’s no wolf meat to go with it” she chuckled out, I hit her shoulder and she laughed.
I served her ice cream which I bought earlier for her as she ordered, I helped myself with juice.
“That thing really looks like a lycan” she stated as she ate her ice cream.
Are we back to the wolf topic, why can’t she just let it slide.
“Lycans are just myths, they don’t actually exist” I argued.
“You never can tell. I’m sure dragons exist as well, and mermaids too” she whined.
“You are probably bumpy as a result of seeing the wolf, rest a little so that your brain can settle” I instructed.
“But how did the wolf get here?” She asked.
“Maybe it escaped from the zoo, I wish I could see it again” I said dreamily.
“You are unbelievable Andra, 2 days ago you hated wolves” she complained.
“A lot can happen in 2 days my friend. I’m going to bed, when you are done with your ice cream, you can join me” I said as I stood up.
“Bch we are having a sleep over tonight” she stated.
“Nicky we have work tomorrow, maybe on weekend” I insisted.
“OK, but this whole apartment thing means that you will come stay with me right?” She asked.
“I guess that’s the case” I replied.
“Yes!!” She screamed in excitement.
“Thanks Nicky”
“Come on, what are friends for”

FINDING REMEDY: Chapter 1 – 10
ALEX’S POV
Thank goodness, that was so close. I can’t believe I almost transformed in front of her. But her eyes – it was as if she was pleading with me to show my true self.
It was all that ba$tard’s fault, once again he got lucky, I would have eaten him if not that I felt Andrea’s love towards me – the wolf me actually – my anger melted. That idi©t is really stepping on my tail and in gonna wag him off if he dares me again.
By the way, I’m really hungry and I’m tired of eating vegetables and dead and cooked meat, I need something fresh and bloody, I need to go hunting.
I slipped my jacket on and walked out, I usually walk whenever I’m going hunting, I wonder who’s gonna be the unfortunate person today, but I didn’t care at this point.
As I was walking along the street, I realized that someone was tailing me – it’s definitely not a passerby – I could feel his heart beat, which was beating faster than a normal human heart. I ducked in a nearby store and waited.
I already knew that the idi*t was a wolf – how dare Caspian, and what a coward he is, sending a boy to do a man’s job.
I transformed and waited, when he stopped at the same spot, I knew he already found me, but as he was about to transform, I pounced on him.
He tried to fight back but the human flesh is too weak – I wonder how I’m gonna cope with it when I become a complete human, but even at that, he still can’t fight me, he’s just an ordinary werewolf.
I tore the idi©t into a million pieces. What a free meal, all thanks to Caspian.
I ducked out of sight and transformed before going home, to avoid the gateman seeing the real me.
But this only mean one thing, Caspian has found me, and if he has found that means, damn it, he found Andra too.
