I woke up this morning and get ready for my school.
I walked down to the dinning and met my serving the breakfast.
I smiled.
” Good morning mum” I said and peck her cheeks.
She looked at me and smiled.
” Good morning soph, how was your night? I asked
” Fine mum, where is dad?
” Am here”
I saw him walking towards the dinning
I walked to him and hugged me.
” Good morning Dad”
” Good morning princess how was your night?”.
” Fine dad”
” I can see that, you look beautiful” he said.
I laughed.
” Dad”
He laughed.
We both sat down and ate our breakfast.
We finished eating.
” See you later princess” dad said standing up.
I nodded my head.
” I love you soph” mum said kssing my cheek.
I smiled.
” I love you too mum” I said.
” What about me?
” I love you more dad” I said.
” Alright, take care of yourself”
” Bye mum, bye dad” I waved at them as they walked out.
I got out of the house walking to the gate.
I walked out of the gate and I was surprised to see Andrew standing beside his car with his hands in his pocket.
“Surprise” he said with a smile.
” Andrew, what’re you doing here?
” Of course am here waiting for you”
” Why?
” Why? To drop you at school” he said.
I smiled.
” Thanks Andrew but I will just take the bus” I said trying to walk away.
He held my hand.
” Not again Sophie, I wanted to drop you at home yesterday but you refuse and now? Am not letting you go this time” he said with a smile.
” Are you gonna force me?
” Should l? He asked
I arched my brow at him.
” Okay, please” he pleaded.
” Please, my lady” he said with a bow.
I looked at him and laughed.
He smiled.
” So?
” Okay, I will come with you” I said.
” Thank you Sophie” he winked at me.
I smiled and got into the car and he drove off.
I noticed Andrew stealing glances at me.
I looked at him.
” Andrew,” I called.
” What?
” Do you know you are driving?
” So?
” Stop looking at me or we gonna get into an accident” I said.
He laughed.
” You scared?
” Yeah, I don’t wanna die” I said.
” Well I wasn’t looking at you”
” Really?
” Yeah”
” Okay, am gonna catch you once more” I said.
He smiled.
He drove into the school.
” Don’t come out Sophie” he said opening the door.
” Why? I asked.
” Just don’t” he said sternly.
I sighed.
He got to my side and opened the door.
” Now you can come out” he said with a smile.
I got out and smiled.
He is so sweet now.
” Thanks Andrew” I said .
He nodded his head.
” Okay” I said walking away.
He held my hand and Drew me to himself Making me hug him.
I gasped.
” Andrew” I called.
” You are beautiful Sophie” he whispered softly into my ear.
I smiled.
” Thanks Andrew” I said.
” Can you please stay like this for a while? He asked.
” Why?
” Please soph” he said.
It’s only mum that calls me soph but he just did.
“Please”
” Okay, ” I said
” Thanks”
After a while, he broke the hug.
I looked around students are gathered taking pictures.
” Can I go now? I asked.
” I will walk you to the class” he said and held my hand.
I looked at him but he nodded his head with a smile.
I smile a bit.
We both walked to the class with all eyes on us.
We got to the class.
” See you later Sophie” he said walking out.
I smiled and nodded my head.
I sat down.
I saw Anna walking into the class.
” Anna..I..
She walked passed me ignoring me.
I looked at her.
” Anna, how are you? I asked.
She didn’t answer me.
I walked to her seat.
” Anna, am talking to you but..
” But what? She cut me off.
” Is something wrong? I asked.
” Nothing” she said not looking at me.
” You sure? I looked at her confused.
” Yeah”
” But..I..
” Please Sophie, I don’t want to talk to you” she said and walked out of the class.
I stood on a spot staring blankly at she walked out of the class.
” What’s wrong with her?
” Did I do something wrong to her?
I sighed and walked back to my seat.

? Andrew ?
” You came with Sophie? Henry asked.
” Yeah” i said sitting down.
” Why? Jeremy asked.
” Why what? I asked.
” I only gave her a ride to the school so what?
” But you hugged her” Daniel said.
I looked at them all.
” That is none of your business” I said.
” Andrew you..
” Am out of here” I half yelled walking out.
” Why are they asking me so much questions?
I sighed angrily.
A girl bumped into me.
” Oh..am sorry” she said.
” Hmmm”
” Oh” she said.
I looked at her, she is Sophie’s friend.
” How…are…you… Andrew” she stuttered.
” Where is soph? I asked.
” Who?
” Sophie, where is she? I asked.
” She..she..
” Where is she? I half yelled.
” I don’t know” she said.
I looked at her and walked away.
I walked to the class and saw Sophie with her face glued to her book.
I smiled.
” Such a nerd” I said sitting beside her.
She looked at me.
” I bumped into your friend, what’s her name?
” Anna” she said.
” Yeah, I asked her about you but she said she dont know” I said.
” Hmmmm..I don’t know, since morning she has been acting weird” she said.
“I dont like girls like her” I said.
” Why? She arched her brow.
” I don’t know” I shrugged.
She looked at me and started smiling.
” Why are you smiling? I asked.
” Nothing” she said smiling widely.
” Sophie”
” Okay, am not smiling anymore” she said and stopped smiling and face her book
” Can you just close that book? I asked closing the book.
She looked at me.
” Andrew, I need to study, give me the book” I said.
” And why? I asked hiding it in my back.
” BECAUSE I need to study” she said.
” I won’t give it back”
” Andrew, please” she said stressing the please.
” You are no fun at all” I said.
” Thanks, can I have my book now? She asked.
” Yeah” I said and gave her the book.
She smiled.
” Thanks”
I looked at her as she concentrate on the face.
” What are you reading? I asked looking at the book.
She smiled.
” Dull brain like you won’t understand” she said.
I looked at her.
” Who said am dull?
” I said it” she said sternly.
“No am not” I said.
” Okay, read this and tell me what’s is talking about” she said handling me the book.
I took it and scratched my head.
” Am waiting” she said.
” I don’t know” I said.
She burst out laughing.
I looked at her as she laughed.
” Can you stop laughing? I whispered.
She continue laughing so loud.
” Sophie stop, everyone is looking at you” I said.
She stopped and looked at me.
” Dull brain”
” Do you mind teaching me? I asked.
She arched her brow.
” I mean, do you mind being my teacher” I said not looking at her.
” Really?.
” Yeah” I said.
” You also want to become a nerd? She asked.
” What? H.ell no” I half yelled.
She smiled.
” Then why should I teach you? She arched her brow
” Hmmmm…I…I..
” Okay I get it, I will be teaching you” she said.
” Really?
” Yeah” she nodded her head.
” Thanks”
” You are welcome”.

? Sophie ?
It’s finally lunch break.
” Let’s go” Andrew said.
I walked to the cafeteria with Andrew since Anna has refused to say a word to me.
I wonder what’s wrong with her?
We got into the cafeteria.
We sat down with the JAHD boys.
I felt Jeremy gaze on me.
” Hi” I greeted.
” How’re you doing?
” Uhmmm fine” I said.
” Please excuse me” I said standing up
” Where to? Daniel asked.
” I want to use the restroom” I said walking out of the cafeteria.
It is not like I want to use the restroom though but I just don’t feel like seating with the JAHD boys so I had to excuse myself.
I got into restroom and bumped into Kaima
I walked passed her but her voice stopped me.
” Stay away from what’s mine” she said.
I turned to looked at her.
I arched my brow.
” And what are you talking about?
” Don’t pretend like you don’t know”
” And I don’t know what you are talking about? I smirked.
” Stay away from Daniel” she said.
I burst out laughing.
She looked at me confused.
” Daniel?I asked.
” Yeah, am warning you, stay away from him” she said.
” And if I don’t?
” Don’t mess with me” she said sternly.
I looked at her.
” You can do nothing” I said.
” Really?.
” Yeah”
” Wait and see” she said.
I hissed and walked away.

The school finally closed for the day.
I walked out of the class
I didn’t see Andrew.
” Can I drop you off? I heard Jeremy voice behind me.
” No thanks” I said.
” Please”
I looked at him.
What is wrong with the JAHD boys?
” No thank” I said walking away.
I got into the bus and it drove off.
I got home, freshened up and prepared myself something to eat.
My phone rang.
It’s Andrew.
I picked it up.
” Hi” I said.
” I searched for you at school but you left already”.
” Yeah, I couldn’t see you”.
” Sorry, I had to catch up with Something” he said.
” Yeah, it’s okay”
” Talk to you later soph,” he said and hung up.
My mind flashed back to Anna.
I decided to call her.
I called her several times but she isn’t picking.
Why the sudden attitude?.
Have I done something wrong?
I sighed.
I will just talk to her tomorrow.
