The door of the room opened and Nadiya entered the room, her eyes widen when she saw her mom lying on the floor, lifeless.

“Momma!!!” She screamed crying, and some maids rushed inside the room.

“What the heck are you all looking at!!! Call the ambulance my wife is no longer breathing!!” Lorenzo shouted with tears in his eyes.

Jeremy sitted in his bedroom looking at the necklace he and Becca shared when they were still together.

He took the necklace that has a padlock as its pendant, while Becca took the key.

“I thought I will feel different when I see your face again, but the same old feelings were still there, and it didn’t leave.

It feels nice to see you again Becca, but sadly I am not the lovely boy you used to know.

Your father, Raymond and Lorenzo changed the good man I used to be” Jeremy said.

“I think he is no longer breathing, what should we do to him?” One of Lorenzo’s men asked.

“I think we should finish up with a gun” Another said. They had beaten Jeremy so mercilessly, just like Raymond, Connor and Lorenzo has ordered them.

They tried pulling the trlgger on Jeremy, but there wasn’t any bvllet in the gvn.

Fortunately for Jeremy, it was just one of them that had a gvn.

“I got no bvllet in my gvn, what are we going to do?” The one holding the gun asked.

“We should just throw his body inside the bridge”

“But we were instructed to kill him”

“Take a good look at him, he is not different from a dead man. He can’t possibly swim his way out from a bridge”

“What if they ask for his body, what are we going to tell them?”

“We did away with his body” And with that, they threw Jeremy’s body inside the bridge.

Jeremy woke up in a new environment, which felt like a new world to him.

“Where am I?” He asked looking around the room which looked expensive, and some medical treatment was applied to his body.

“I can see you are finally awake” Rock said, entering the room and Jeremy looked at her from head to toe.

She was dressed like a gangster, which indeed she is.

“Who are you?” He asked.

“Just call me Hailey” Rock said.

“What am I doing here?” Jeremy asked again.

“Let’s just say I saved your life, and you have been unconscious for years”

“Years?”

“Yes years. I saw how these men threw you inside the bridge, and I thought to myself that you aren’t worth dying for.

So I saved you from going six feet under the ground, and not only that I cared for you throughout the times you were unconscious” Hailey said.

“Th… Thank you” Jeremy muttered.

“What’s your name?” Rock asked.

“Jeremy” He answered.

“Who were those men and why did they attack you?” She asked, lighting up a ¢igarette.

“I don’t want to talk about it” Jeremy said, and Rock chuckled.

“You look some how pitiful. Do you want me to help you?” She asked.

“How?”

“I am going to introduce to my boss. Boss Venom will automatically change your life, but you are going to be loyal”

“Who is Boss Venom?” He asked, and Rock smirked blowing the flames of her ¢igarette on Jeremy’s face.

Jeremy sighed, still looking at the pendent of his necklace.

“I can’t let you be a distraction to me Becca. Thanks to your father, I lost my grandma, and I wasn’t there to cater for my brother when he needed me the most.

You are my past Becca, and is going to remain that way forever” Jeremy said.
