CHAPTER 29

QUEEN’S VILLA, EVENING***

“This is really annoying, why can’t I find a thing to wear?” Freya complained, searching through her closet.

Her clothes were littering on the ground, yet she hasn’t found anything to wear.

“Can’t you just put any clothes on?” Sienna asked whilst packing her hair.

“I can’t, that’s gonna make me look stupid” Freya fell to the bed.

“How about your red gown? The one you wore to my birthday party” Sienna asked.

“Right! Why didn’t I think of that before?” Freya rushed to her feet and went to her drawer, bringing a big box out.

“Here it is, I wanna be in the spotlight tonight,” she grinned, checking the clothes.

“Well, since the party is not ours, I just wanna look simple… Simple but beautiful, I want Aiden to notice me tonight” Sienna smiled.

She has a huge crush on Aiden, but being the playboy he was, he never gives her a glance, not even once.

“Good for you,” Freya said.

Audrey entered the room and Sienna gasped loudly.

“Oh my!” Freya mumbled slowly.

“How do I look?” Audrey asked, twirling around.

“Don’t you think this is too much? I mean, the party is not even ours” Freya said.

“I don’t care. All I want is for Axel to notice me tonight, call me stupid, I don’t give a dmn” Audrey flips her hair to the back and walks to her bed.

“Whatever” Freya rolled her eyes and started dressing up.

PAISLEY’S ROOM***

“Are you attending the party tonight?” Paisley asked Ace. They were both on a video call.

“Yea…”

“Can’t wait to meet you there” Paisley said. She stripped herself, not minding if he was watching and started dressing up.

“I’m hanging up,” Ace said

“Wait….”

“You need to tell me how I look,” She smiled.

“You look good,” Ace said.

Paisley frowned.

“Why does that sound insincere?”

“Have you been hearing from Melanie?” Ace asked after a while.

“Melanie? Why? She’s no longer your girlfriend, so why would you be worried about her?” Paisley scoffed.

“She seems weird, she’s totally different from the Melanie I know. I’m just worri…” Paisley disconnected the call in anger.

“How dare he talk about Melanie when I’m right here?” She fumed.

She sat on the bed and let out a frustrating groan.

“I’m so mad right now,” she mumbled.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***

Melanie stared at herself in the mirror and smiled nervously.

“Isn’t this too much?” She asked aloud.

“What’s too much? You look perfect darling, the guys are gonna be tripping for you” Lauren clapped her hands excitedly.

“Especially that stupid boyfriend of yours, I’m sure he’s gonna regret ever cheating on you when he sees this” She added, grinning from ear to ear.

“You think so?” Melanie turned to her with a smile.

“Of course” Lauren walked to her and placed her hand on her shoulder gently.

“You deserve the best, Lanie. Just because you got your heart broken doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world.

You have to show those motherfkers that you’re better off without them. You have to make them regret what they did to you.”

“Lastly, you need to make them realize that they lost a rare gem” Lauren completed.

“Gosh, what can I do without you?” Melanie smiled widely.

“Nothing. Don’t worry, I’m always here for you, Lanie” Lauren muttered.

Melanie faced the mirror and smiled proudly.

“It’s time for….”

“Revenge!!!” She and Lauren screamed together.

They faced themselves before laughing out loud.

EMPIRE CLUB***

The lights were dimmed and the background was a little bit noisy. The club was boozing as the students kept chatting amongst themselves.

The A4 sat at a corner, watching everything that’s going on in the club.

Audrey walked to them, taking her steps slowly. She threw a flirty smile at Axel before sitting close to him.

“You look hot” she whispered in his ears.

Axel ignored her and brought out a lighter and box, he lighted the stick before placing it in his mouth.

“Dude, just look at that girl, she’s so sxy” Aaron smiled, watching a girl who was busy chatting with her friends.
