Louise and Derica walked slowly around the space of the ward
Actually, Derica guided her gently as Louise walked without the aid of clutches.
Louise beamed with smiles because she was able to walk without any external aid even though it was just small walks she could make, she was still happy
it’s a progress.
“Wow Louise you did it, I’m very happy”
Derica applauded with smiles
The day she was assigned to be Louise’s personal nurse and care taker, she never believed that Louise would ever walk again and even if she did, it wouldn’t be anytime soon as her condition was critical.
According to the accident report, Louise’s leg got stuck under a big van loaded with metals for hours before she was rescued.
The girl had a strong and fighting spirit. Derica noted with smiles
Louise herself grinned the more when she heard Derica’s compliment.
“Thanks Rica, it’s all thanks to you for your zeal and help. You didn’t give up on me even when all hope was lost”
Louise spoke with shaky voice somewhat feeling emotional
After everything she had been through, right from the very first day, their family went bankrupt.
Then with her mother’s de.ath, Velvet dropping out of school and her fiancee leaving her for her best friend.
She had never been cared for again infact she had forgotten what it feels like for people to be nice untill she got hit by a van on a fateful and unfortunate day and she met Derica, a nurse
After being with her for some time now, Louise had finally realised that there are still good people in this world, you just have to meet them by fate either by fortunate or unfortunate means.
“Vel would scream out of happiness when she comes visiting and sees this miracle”
Derica uttered recalling the sassy teenager filled with high spirit and couldn’t help but smile
“That reminds me, she hasn’t been coming regularly for some time now”
Derica raised
Louise shrugged
“The girl acts mysteriously sometimes, who knows what she’s up to at the moment”
“I know right, you got one hell of a sister and sh—”
Derica stopped talking when a familiar god like man walked into the ward
Derica has never been the type to forget faces, a handsome one at that
He was the same gentleman who had helped Louise from falling by the passage

Derica started daydreaming.
Louise felt her heart string tug when she saw Ryan and their eyes locked together for them to hold their gazes as if no one wanted to withdraw their gaze.
But then she looked away from him when she recalled the hurtful words he had spoken the last time he came

Somehow without him realizing it, he felt fear with the thoughts of the girl hating him for saying acidic words to her.
