Suddenly Leah dropped the glass on the table with a bam sound and then pouted her lips as she swayed slightly on her sit
“He said it’s not possible between us!
Georgia wondered what Leah was talking about, who’s the He?
“I’ve always loved him, I….(hiccup) …..I told him how I feel about him and he-he just kssed me and told me to forget about him(sob)…..
Leah cried making Georgia furrow her brows
Okay …so who is Leah talking about?
Someone rejected her? The guy must be a monk to resist her Leah
Georgia thought and somehow she recalled the scene when she was drugged by Raymond, the memory was still fresh in her mind
That night she purely throwed herself on Dylan in the car but he resisted her.
That didn’t mean Dylan was a monk, infact he was a beast in bed
Georgia smiled a little at the memory which brought an inch of sadness in her heart.
So if the supposed man kssed Leah but resisted her afterwards, does that mean he also has feelings for her but withheld it?
Why though?
Leah suddenly glared at the wine bottle
“How dare he!!! Garfield you’re dead meat!!!
Georgia’s eyes widened

Did she just hear Leah say Garfield?

At the meeting hall, Sarah finished her presentation amidst other seated members
“How was it Assistant Boss?
She asked with smiles as she stared at Garfield. For the past week Garfield has been the acting CEO.
“Assistant Boss?
Sarah called out again when she received no response
“Yeah sure, perfect!
Garfield came back to himself and said a little too loud making the others in the room wonder what he was thinking
Sarah smiled and sat back down.
She wondered why Vanessa was absent but on a second thought, she knew just where she would be at the moment.
The meeting ended not too long after and Garfield walked mindlessly into his office while Sarah followed
“Assistant Boss I wanted to show you something I came up with” She walked briskly trying to catch up with his long strides
“Assistant Boss please hold on”
Sarah stopped abruptly when Garfield halted
“That can wait, I’m busy now”
Garfield said and continued walking while Sarah stood still with a pouted face
She looked at him with longing eyes and then turned around.
Getting to his office, Garfield started work immediately, he was a capable assistant and ever since Dylan had been in coma, he has been the one to handle all the matters of the company which was why some workers admire his wits.
Opening his laptop, Leah’s face greeted his sight and he stared fixedly at the laptop’s wallpaper which was her sleeping face.
The photo he took when she was oblivious to it.
He wondered how she was doing at the moment as she seemed to be mad at him when she left his apartment

EARLIER THIS MORNING~
Garfield who had just stepped out of his bathroom wrapped a towel around his waist and walked downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Garfield frowned, wondering who was at the door as early as it was
He didn’t usually have visitors at this hour cause he was a workaholic and this was his preparation time for work
Absentmindedly, he lazily walked to the door and peeped at the transparent hole in the middle of the door
His eyes widened to see Leah standing at the door as she stretched forth her fingers and pressed the button again
Exasperatedly, Garfield opened the door that instant
“Miss Donovan?
Leah walked past him without a word, leaving the puzzled Garfield to close back the door and follow her
“Is there anything I could help you with?
Garfield asked again trying to calm his already leaping heart
