Ariana just stood there in a trance
In her head, she was in denial

‘That possibly couldn’t be her Raymond the doctor described right?

“Can we see him?
Mr Davidson asked, whilst holding his wife supportively

“Sure but do make sure not to make unnecessary noises while the patient rests, it would be to his disadvantage”
The doctor warned.

Getting the confirmation be needed, he left the family alone as he made his way down the hall.

Ariana opened the operating room’s door and gingerly walked closer to the bed

Mr and Mrs Davidson followed closely behind.

Getting closer to the bed, Ariana clapsed her Palm on her mouth in shock.

“Mmmmp”
Mrs Davidson whimpered when she saw her son’s face

If it wasn’t for his body shape and the familiarity, they wouldn’t believe it was Raymond lying there.

His face barely looked recognizable, Was this really Raymond?

Tears streamed down Ariana’s face and when she couldn’t stand it anymore, she ran out of the room

“The young master of the Davidson was really beaten to a pulp! Who could be so be so heartless?

A nurse said to one of her fellow nurse as they stopped at a corner along the hall way.

“I know right, it was miracle he was found on time and rushed to the hospital immediately, I bet he would have survived other wise”

The other nurse said as she shuddered at the image of the bI.oody body brought to them earlier

Initially they thought it was a lifeless body but realized it wasn’t when a heart beat was dictated.

“Did he perhaps offend anyone?

“I don’t think so, you know life of the socialites, they never go anywhere freely without fear of being kidnapped for Ransome, they always go around with body guards in fear of assassins after their lives, who knows maybe an assassin was able to attempt murdering him this time”

The nurse shrugged as she thought of the possible reason for the incident.

“You had to see his girlfriend’s face, Ariana was petrified”
The first nurse who started the topic said

“That reminds me, so the second young miss of the Sterlings is now with Mr Davidson?

He truly broke up with his haughty and arrogant fiancee, what was that her name again? Georgia”

Velvet who coincidentally heard their discussion was surprised
The imbecile who cheated on Georgia with her sister is in a miserable State?

From the ho..rrified tone of the nurses, the condition must be critical and bad.

Did anything happen?
Come to think of it, she hadn’t heard from Georgia.

Shrugging her shoulder, Velvet continued walking down the hallway till she made a right turn into one of the wards.

Her sister would surely give her an earful this night as it was late.

“Hey sis”
Velvet said sweetly, immediately she was met with her sister’s glare

She immediately engaged her puppy mode

Going over to her sister’s bed, Velvet hugged her cutely

Louise rolled her eyes
“Velvet what did I say about coming late? You should have stayed home and come over tomorrow morning!

Louise scolded, the last thing she wanted was for any thing to happen to Velvet

She was the only family she got, even though she was just a teenager, that doesn’t mean she was free from harm’s way

There were many irresponsible deranged men roaming around the streets LA and wouldn’t hesitate to devour little girls they see as prey.

Velvet smiled at her sister’s scolding
She knew it was for the love she had for her
Her big sis always mean good for her.

“Okay okay sis, I won’t come over late at nights again”
She said with a smile

“You cross your heart?
Louise asked with a scrunched face

Velvet giggled while nodding
“And ready to die”
She said

“Dinner?
Velvet asked sitting on the space left by Louise on the bed

“Yeah, Derica brought me dinner”
Louise informed, referring to the nurse that had grown close to them now

“Ohhh” Velvet nodded in understanding, a thought hit her and she turned to look at her sister

“I think something happened to Georgia’s ex fiancee sis, he is here in this very hospital”

“Ariana must be devasted, isn’t she now his girlfriend?
Velvet snorted as she uttered

Looking over to Louise, Velvet noticed that Louise’s face had turned poker at the mention of the names

“What did you expect, karma is catching up with each and every one of them”
Louise snorted

“Sis, you really need to understand Georgia and get rid of the hate you have for her, she never had a hand in what happened years back, infact she’s the victim, she had faced so many ho..rrible things in that family and”

In the hopes of putting in a good word for Georgia, Velvet talked without stopping untill Louise interrupted

“You talk to much Vel, I know already, I’ve thought about it and I realized there’s no point hating Georgia, I should sympathize with her instead, please if she does contact you again, tell her I want us to discuss”

Velvet couldn’t believe her ears!

Oh thank God, my sister has finally gotten some sense of humor!

Velvet said inwardly excitedly.

“Sure sis”
Velvet assured happily.

The door opened that moment and the two sisters looked over to see who would be the strange visitor as they weren’t expecting anybody that night.

“Reed what the fk are you doing here?!

Louise asked in annoyance and surprise too

Why on earth would he come here late at night
