Damien was about to rebuke Ryan again when Garfield helplessly placed his own drumstick on Damien’s plate for the third world war not to start.

Garfield facepalmed as he shook his head in helplessness

These two grown men enough to marry were capable of bickering non-stop till dawn.

‘These two men are something else!
There were a lot of food on the table but they rather prefer to fight each other over a drumstick.

Dylan just ate in silence, ignoring the bickering wives

Aunt Diane who came out of the kitchen and had coincidentally witnessed the drama, smiled as she stood at the entrance not noticed by any body.

Smiling she thought, when was the last time this house had been lively?

Even she could not remember, it was a long time ago.

DEVRON HOSPITAL~

Ariana rushed through the hall way and only stopped when she saw Mr and Mrs Davidson

Mrs Davidson was seated on the waiting bench hunched over while Mr Davidson stood beside his wife patting her back in a comforting manner.

He had a grim expression on his face

“Mr Davidson, Aunt Miranda”
Ariana called out as she hurried towards them in tears

“Where’s Raymond? How could his life be in danger?
Ariana asked frantically, her breath ragged as she looked from Mr Davidson to Mrs Davidson waiting for answers.

Mrs Davidson could barely say anything that moment as she was too shocked and grieved to say a word.

Mr Davidson sighed
“We don’t know Ariana, we don’t know”

Mr Davidson uttered with a pained expression laced on his face

All they knew was that someone contacted them about their son being brought to the hospital in a critical state after he was found lying on the pool of his bI.ood near the suburbs.

Ariana became restless and worried
She just hoped it wasn’t as critical as they say.

Just in time, the light at the top of the operating room got switched off indicating an operation over.

The door was pushed open and a man in a white coat stepped out with two nurses who went their ways

Mrs Davidson immediately stood up, hurrying to the doctor as her husband followed in line

Ariana had already gotten to the doctor as she was standing close to the room

“How is he?

“How is my son?

Ariana and Mrs Davidson asked at the same time while Mr Davidson stood to listen

The doctor realizing they were obviously related to the man in there sighed tiredly

The news he was about to tell was a tough one and he didn’t have the strength to calm anyone down but he knew it was his obligation and there was no turning away from it.

“Like I said earlier, his situation is tricky and so the operation got complicated but not unsuccessful”

Ariana’s heart was beginning to beat nervously

“There were shards of glass stuck in his back and his face was- it was as if it was being smashed over and over by something or someone and he broke a nose”

“He might have sight issues but it would be temporary”

Mrs Davidson nearly slumped but was held by her husband

“No, not my son, not my son. Raymond was fine, who could be so evil to do something despicable!
Mrs Davidson cried in her husband’s arm

Mr Davidson too was pained but as a man he wasn’t crying.
