“Scarlet,” he called cos he was cut off guard
The lady that was with him quickly left in shame, Mrs brown observed the surroundings and slowly sat in the chair
“To what do I owe this honorable surprise?” He asked, a d’vilish smirk lingered on his face
“Alex, did you have any idea of what you have done?” She asked making him smirk
“You mean, we having a good time?” He scoffed,” trust me scarlet I will treat you well even more than your husband did,” he said smirking
“what is it that you have with me?” She asked, glancing around the office she could see that the place isn’t that bad but there was something off with it
“I have always loved you scarlet but you left me to marry that guy,” he said dejectedly
“You mean pushing me off the stairs was love?” She asked checking his expression
“I can’t do…”
“Cut the act Alex, I have DNA proof besides it’s just the two of us in here,” she cut in
“You have always been smart I wouldn’t be surprised if you find out,” he said, shoulders arched back
Clenching her fist under the table she tried as much as possible to calm herself down
“I didn’t mean to do that okay, even rapping your daughter! I have been broken after you left years ago and it turned me into something else. That night when you refused to get in b.ed with me even with the fact that I disguise as your husband! It pissed me off and I wanted to make you pay, I didn’t do it on purpose but I wouldn’t stop,” He said putting his head in his hands
“For how long have you been like this?” She pulled a face
“It’s been many years, I promise just one night and it will never happen again, we can do it here if you want,” he replied, his heart pounding out of his chest
“Indeed you have no shame,” She snapped and stood up
“Scarlet, I know you might still be sticking to all those things you said back then in college but I promise to stop just one night,” also standing on his feet, he said, his lips trembling
“Have gotten what I wanted and I will see you in court,” she said and turned off the record making his eyes widen
He couldn’t believe that she just recorded their conversation just like that
“Give me that,” he yelled going after her, he grabbed her hand and throw her on the table making her fall heavily on it, a sI.ap landed on her right cheek then next was her second check
Hearing the sound from outside, two cops rushed into the place and pulled him away then pinned him down immediately
“Ma, are you okay?” One of them asked as another person trid to help her up
“Yeah am fine,” she replied red in the face, cleaning the bI.ood stain in her mouth she get a baseball bat that was at the back of the door
She ba.shed his h.ead with it taking everyone by surprise, winging it around she Ianded it on his stomach making a painful groan escape from his mouth
“Attorney,” one of the cops called
“Self-defense,” she replied still holding the baseball bat, she swing it around again she ba.shed his face
“Argh!!” He s¢reamed in agonizing
“Leave him, there is a little girl in there go get her,” she said to them, clenching tightly in the bat she ba.shed his face again
He fell back! His face was covered with bI.ood as he gasped for air trying to regain his strength

“Karan, I know you hate me now, but I just want to tell you that mom is awake,” standing in front of Karan Olivia said and pouted
Her face beamed with joy
“That’s good knows, now let me pass!” Turning in her direction Karan said
“Are you going to hate me for the rest of your life? I’m already sad sorry….” Her words were cut short as a student pushed her out of the way and didn’t even bother to apologize
Seeing what just happened, Karan matched to the students in furry, gra.bbing her hair she pushed it against a wall
“Are,” her crying voice could be heard as the girl hold her head in pain
“Mess with my sister again and I will fk with you,” she threatened, turning to Olivia she walked past her
“Did she just stand up for me?” Beaming with smiles, Olivia thought silently” that means she doesn’t hate me,” she added jumping up and down
