“I find him guilty,” the third jury said
Seeing that everyone was with Mrs. Brown Alexander’s lawyer stood down
“Mr. Alexander, I find you guilty of the charges, and you’re hereby sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labor, this case is dismissed,” htting the gavel twice, the jury said
“Mr. Brown you’re a free man, officers, take Alexander to where he belongs” The jury added
Mr. Brown went to his wife and hugged her
“Thank you,” he said
“Can we go now?” She pulled away from him and said
“Yeah, I thought they will allow that bstard to be bailed,” Mr. Brown replied.

“If he didn’t go to jail, then I would have sued the judge,” she replied
“Are you kidding?”
“You have the right to sue your jury when you know the law, she is a human being just like everyone else and she’s not above the law either so I will consider her as a bias,” she replied, getting to their car she opened the door and hup in
“She will still be your judge?” He asked
“No, the case would be lifted from here and given to another person but she woulf appear in court with a lawyer,” she replied, turning on the ignitor she zoom off

Adam cleaned the bI.ood staining his mouth and stared at Ben
“Do I know you?” He asked
“You don’t need to know me, just stay away from my girlfriend,” he replied
“What girlfriend? You broke up with me,” Karan said instantly
“I didn’t mean it, someone threatened me that’s why I did that,” he said, getting close to her he grabbed one of her hands” we could start over again right?” He added biting his bottom lip
She looked at him in disgust
“Go fk yourself, stay away from Me Ben if not I will have you arrested, we are done,” pushing him away, she said and grabbed Adam’s hand”let’s go,” she added
“I think I should get going now, bye,” Adam said, slowly freeing her hold on him

THE BROWN HOME*
EVENING*
The children went into the house to see their mother preparing dinner, with their hearts full of joy. They rushed towards her immediately jumping on her with great joy
“Mummy!!” Eddy shouted joyfully
“Take it easy, okay! You will pull me down,” Mrs. Brown, pouting her hand on his waist slowly carried him down
“Mummy,” Karan called, taking a few steps towards her, she hugged her tightly and start crying
“Mom it’s……”
“Shhhh, Don’t cry, beautiful girls don’t cry,” Mrs. Brown cut in, cleaning the tears from her eyes
“Mummy I haven’t eaten good food in days,” Eddy mumbled checking the dishes
“But Karan has been cooking,” Olivia replied, also checking the dishes with him
“That’s not good food,” Eddy replied, he quickly covered his head
“You will see who will cook for you again,” Karan said, stretching her hand forward him to hits his head
“I don’t need your cooking, mom is back and she’s not going back, “he replied shouting out loud
Mr. Brown heard the noise downstairs and start coming down, Eddy was the first person to see him and freeze
“He’s here,” he suddenly shouted, hiding behind his mother, the kids looked at their mother then at him
Mr. Brown slowly walks towards them, they all quickly hide behind their mother, all looking terrified as if they just saw a ghost
“This might not sound good to you all but the person living with us before is not daddy, his…..”
“Run,” Karan cut in, getting hold of her siblings
“Wait…..”
Before Mrs. Brown could finish her statement they race off into their rooms and lock the door
“This will be harder than I thought,” placing her hand in her hand, Mrs. Brown said staring at her husband
“What’s this?” Mr. Brown asked, eyes popping out
“Maybe if you have listened and stayed back none of this will happen, you lose your job and your kids,” she replied, tapping him gently on his shoulder, she turn and continue her cooking
