Xavier and Aidan finally got out of the villa but that wasn’t the end of it.
Above them, an helicopter could be seen hovering above them while sh..ooting at them..
By that time, Xavier was already sh..ot in the arm and due to his old age he was already tired of running. Deep down, he knew he wasn’t going to make it out alive.
They really cornered them. At that moment, he began cvrsing the day he met Brittany.
If he didn’t force Aidan to get betrothed to her, all these wouldn’t have happen.
All his men at the villa were all sh.ot down by the cops. They were about to cross the bridge when two police cars suddenly stopped in front of him and they both stopped.
They turned to run back but Matteo and the other were behind them.
“Just surrender” Matteo said, breathing heavily due to the long marathon they ran because they were chasing them.
“Never! I’m never giving up without a f!ght!!” Xavier said proudly.
He grabbed Aidan’s gvn from him and began sh.ooting at the cops. Aidan jumped out of the scene to save himself.
“Ahhhh!!!!” Xavier began shooting at the police men.
The police men all began firing at him all at once.
“Argh!!” He groaned when a bvIIet took his thigh.
Another took his tummy
Then his arm
Another on the tummy again.
Xavier went down on one knee as he kept sh..ooting at them non stop.
“Dad!!” Aidan cried out as he watched how his father was dribbled with bvIIet.
At that time, he forgot to run and just stared at how they rained bvllets on Xavier.
Xavier finally fell down on the floor and dropped his gvn, dying on the spot as his bI.ood wetted the ground.
“Aidan Hayes.. You’re under arrest for being your father’s accomplice” Matteo said and aimed his gvn at Aidan.
Aidan kept crying as he watched Xavier’s dé..ath body on the floor.
He stood up and made to run away but Matteo wasted no time in pvlling the trlgger.
“Argh!!!!!!!” Aidan let out a painful scream as the bvIIet took his left eye.
He began staggering blindly till he got at the edge of the cliff and before he knew it…
“Argh!!!!!!!!!!!” He began falling inside the water.
“Sh..oot!! We must make sure he doesn’t escape even if it means klling him” Matteo commanded and they nodded.
The cops began shooting inside the water non stop. They only stopped when the part Aidan fell in began turning red..
Matteo smiled as sweat dripped down his face.
“Mission accomplished… At last” He said to himself.
“Send some men inside the water to fetch for his body” Matteo said and walked to Xavier’s body.
He squatted in front of it and smirked..
“You really gave me a tough time” He muttered.
