” Where the heck is Alfredo? ” I asked Jade when she presented the soon to be bride to me.
” I don’t know mum, I’m looking for Abner too ”
” These boys won’t kill me.
They’re still behaving like kids, Nicky dear, please relax. Your groom will be with you soon ” I said to her
” Okay ” I said and was handed a glass of champagne.
” Drink up while I go get him ”
” Okay ”
” Jade keep her company till I’m back. Your father is with the ministers ”
” Okay mum ”
And I left to go look for those big heads..
” Mum, I’m not liking this party one bit ” I heard Juan say as I got to the staircase.
” Juan, not now. I’m busy ”
” Of course you are ” she said and left.

The Dickson’s mansion was beautifully decorated and it was trooping with a lot of people, especially the rich…
In fact only the rich and men and women in power were at the party.
Everyone was busy talking about the bride and the party.
Foods and drinks were in abundance and large quantities, attendants were here and there serving the guests with what ever they needed…
It was just a welcoming party for the bride and it looked like a wedding party.
Well the Dickson’s are really rich and even if they throw a party for a whole year they’d still have plenty of money to feed the whole of their Country…
Everyone was happy except the soon to be bride. She had a bad feeling that the whole process might go wrong.
She wasn’t happy to be part of all this wealth stuff and all.

” Bro,stop doing this. Just go downstairs ” I said to my brother,I’ve been trying to persuade him to come for the party but he’s proving stubborn.
Then the door opened and our mum came in.
” What’s going on here? ” my mum said and walked towards us.
” Mum is Alfredo, he doesn’t wanna go for the party ” I reported like a good boy?.
