As I was about to leave, a Black Mercedes Benz stopped in front of me. It was Ansh’s car. He was driving.
“Hi! Sleepy Head. Get in. I know you left your car at the office.” How does he know that? Finally, he has something to say.
“I am not Sleepy Head. It’s because of you I got late,” I snapped.
“Because of me? It was you who was holding onto me so tightly. I had to work so hard to release you. Anyways, what were you doing with me?” He said smiling.
“What nonsense? You were holding me. And I was not with you. You forced me, remember? Don’t you remember anything?” He kept on smirking. Now he was irritating me. He didn’t even care to answer me.
“And how on earth did you know that I didn’t have my car?”
I asked curiously.
“Ahana, you are the wife of Ansh Raichand. He knows everything,” he said, smiling.
During the entire 10-minute ride, I preferred to stay quiet.
At a sudden turn, Ansh turned the car so violently that, despite the seat belt, I was thrown towards him.
“What? Can’t you even drive properly?” I asked angrily.
We were now in the parking area, which was deserted at that point in time.
“It would have been better if I had walked to the office,” I said angrily as I walked out of the car.
All of a sudden, he grabbed me and pushed me against the wall.
“Ms. Egoistic. Try and be more thankful. Be grateful,” he said. There was no one near us. We were only inches apart, and our scents were mixing together.
“I am grateful enough to God that he made me marry you.
Okay… So please don’t order me around. You forget things… I… ”
But before I could finish my sentence, he cupped my face in his hands.
He was about to move his face closer to mine, but I quickly pushed him away. It only lasted a few seconds, but it startled me.
I was just staring at him with my eyes open while he was the one closing his eyes.
It felt like he was about to kss me again. But this time I resisted.
He looked at me, a bit confused now. Actually, he didn’t realize what happened. Thank goodness…
I understood what was going on in his mischievous mind. I can’t allow myself to appear vulnerable, someone who can be easily taken for granted.
“Ansh… You can’t always do whatever you want. I am independent, and you have no authority over me.
Do you understand? Don’t you dare do anything… I will…” He was listening attentively.
I touched my face where Ansh had held me and felt something wet on it—it was bI.ood!! Suddenly, I noticed Ansh’s palm. BI.ood was flowing again.
I don’t think he even realized it.
“Ansh… BI.ood. You need to take care of it,” I said, forgetting my anger and walking towards him, taking his hand in mine.
But he pvshed me away and his brown eyes pierced into mine. I got completely lost in them.
“You don’t need to worry about me, wify. Ansh Raichand does what he wants, always. Stop pretending in front of me. And yes…
You should remember one thing: Ansh never forgets anything. Not a single thing,” he said and left.
I stood there, unable to speak. It’s not that I didn’t have an answer, but I was lost in what he had told me.
“Ansh… You’ll hear that from me,” I shouted after him.
I didn’t want to lose. He continued whistling. How could he even think of kssing me whenever he wants? I should have sI.apped him at that moment.
