The scale can be very misleading if its the only criteria you use for measurement. For example, a woman could weigh 50kg an have 33% body fat.

That’s what I call a skinny fat person. In contrast, a female body builder could weigh 65kg an be quite lean with body fat as 14%

If you want to get results, you will have to change the way you perceive dieting And no, you don’t have to fast to lose weight, instead you will do the opposite, Eat more.

But wait, doesn’t eating more food cause weight gain? You ask !! Yes, It does. But, there is a way to eat more that allows you to lose all the fat you gathered all your life.

How? You ask !!

There’s special ways of eating up to 5 times while losing more fat than you have ever lost in your entire life.

I’m sure you have seen many “fat loss programs” advertise rapid weight loss, such as 30 pounds in 3 months.

Although you may think this is what you want, it’s not. The reason why is because these programs are just focused on seeing the scale go down as fast as possible (which is a TERRIBLE approach!).

Sure, the scale goes down, but 20 pounds of this is very likely fat and 10 pounds of this is muscle.

“Crash” dieting usually means low calorie diets, minimal carbs and tons of exercise (VERY unappealing). ⁣On top of this, you feel weak and your muscles flatten out, resulting in a soft physique with little to no muscle definition.

So, in order to drop pure body fat and maintain your lean muscle mass (or even build in certain circumstances), here are tips to keep in mind:

1 – Avoid extreme diets

Going extremely low in calories will make you feel sluggish and moody. You’ll be downright starving and muscle loss will be inevitable.

Stick with an aggressive approach to quick fat loss, but not extreme. This means eating just the right amount of calories for your specific body so you can achieve the look you are after without sacrificing your quality of life.

2 – Follow a high protein diet

This helps preserve muscle mass and keeps you full, curbing your cravings.

3 – Strength train

You want to lift in a way that promotes strength and muscle growth in order to give your body a reason to hold onto it’s muscle mass.

4 – Pairing the right food

To burn belly fat, you’ll need to pair the right foods together on one plate. Thanks to their complementary nutrients, these mighty duos either fry fat, beat bloat, or ignite your metabolism. Why consume just one better-body food when you can eat two and double your weight loss efforts?

A few common myths that need to be permanently squashed!

1️ There is no “best” exercise when it comes to fat loss. Being in a (maintainable/sustainable) caloric deficit is going to result in fat loss. The key is consistency and time, so the best exercise is the one that is most enjoyable for YOU – that you will do consistently, day after day!

2️ When you are in a caloric deficit, you will lose fat all over your body. You can’t TARGET fat loss or choose where you lose it first. As long as you are consistent and patient, you will see results in all areas.

3️ Lifting weights DOES NOT make you bulky. Females naturally do not have the hormonal capacity to develop massive muscles like you may see on a bodybuilding stage. Lifting weights not only helps you gain LEAN muscle, but it also helps accelerate fat loss.

4️ Protein is a VITAL macronutrient that many of us do not consume enough of. It’s very difficult to overeat protein. Protein powder or meal replacement shakes are simply ways to supplement your daily protein intake.
