“Good morning Mr Harris, your food is ready”. A maid said .
Gosh!
Why won’t they allow me to sleep in peace must I always go to school.
“Young master,your food is ready and it’s on the dinning table, kindly come down to eat “. Another maid said.
“Stop buzzing in my ears,I’ve heard you”. I groaned and yanked the bedspread off my nked body.
I stood up and walked dryly to the bathtub and spent 30 minutes , I used another 30 minutes to dress up. I had to make sure my hair is very nice.
It’s been a while I went to school after my first debut. It was a big hit.
I had a flare for music eversince I was little. My parents supported me until everything changed.
Dad cheated on Mom . As if that was not enough,he had a child outside with his concubine. Mom actually forgave him for having an affair outside marriage,she forgot it.
Then one day, a woman came claiming that her children will inherit father’s properties.

That morning…
A woman barged into our living room on my Dad’s birthday. We decided to make it a small birthday party by inviting only members of our family.
We were celebrating when someone opened the door.
“Why wasn’t I invited? She walked in wearing a red gown which had a silt on her left leg down to her lap. Her lap had a dark tattoo.
She walked in with two kids,a boy and a girl.
“Who are you and what are you doing in my husband’s birthday party? My Mom said.
“Your husband? She laughed hysterically.
“Mom please”. I moved close to her and held her shoulders since she was moving close to the woman.
“No, Harris..let me talk sense into this intruder”. She said.
“You dare call me an intruder, do you even know who I am? She yelled at my Mom.
“Ma’am, kindly lower your voice, respect yourself and leave this place with your bags”. I said referring to her kids as bags.
“Shut up! Son of Jezebel,you bstard!”. She said.
“What? Bstard? How dare you? . Mom said with tears in her eyes. Mom gets hurt easily.
“Dad this is getting out of hand ,do something”. I whispered to him.

Everything is ruined, how can she be here? What the hell is she doing here?
My heart beat increased as Evelyn entered with her children. I mean,our children.
Yeah, it all happened one night when I had an issue with my wife, Janelle. We just got married at that time and I got angry over a little issue.
I went out to drink to ease my anger In a stripper club when I saw Evelyn. She is very beautiful and endowed in the right place. She had a tattoo on her left leg which made her different from other strippers.
After giving me a lap dance,I sprayed her money and dipped my ID card in her cleavages. She smiled and that was it.
That was how it began. She told me the reason why she’s doing that stripper job. It’s because her husband maltreats her and she saw that as an opportunity to flex and enjoy her life.
Then we started dating,I promised her many things and fufiled it. Janelle never suspected a thing.
I loved Evelyn.
When she told me she was carrying my child I know I had to accept it. She became pregnant and had my son, whom we named Harry.
Janelle became pregnant at the moment too. It was so stressful. I had to lie a lot anytime Evelyn needs me by her side.
We had another child, a baby girl whom we named Harriett . While Janelle was not able to give birth again after having issues with her womb.
I kept the secret for many years with the hope that they can never meet. I didn’t allow Evelyn to know my marital house even though she’s fully aware that I’m married and with a son.
I made her comfortable. Then, she asked me for a huge amount of money which I don’t have at that moment. I told her I was gonna borrow from my wife but she insisted I gave her that moment.
She told me she was gonna give me a big surprise on my birthday and here she is with her surprise.
“Dad this is getting out of hand,do something”. Harris said to me.
“Hi Dad”. Harry and Harriett chorused.
“Dad? Janelle and Harris said.
Oh my gosh..!
Everyone is here, when will this movie end.
“Yeah, he’s our father”. Harriett said walking towards me as she hugged me.
“Clive, can you kindly explain to your ex”. Evelyn said rudely.
“EX? EX? Clive, she just called me an ex and you’re not doing anything? Janelle sobbed.
“Janelle,I can explain”. I said trying to comfort her and touch her when Harris stopped me.
“Stop it Dad”. He said looking at me fiercely.
I felt so guilty. I don’t know what to do at that moment.
“My love, didn’t you tell them anything? Evelyn moved closer to me and planted a kss on my lips.
“Evelyn? I whispered gritting my teeth. She has her own way of getting me.
“What is going on here Dad,who is this woman? Harris said in annoyance.
“Son? Janelle? I looked at them both tossing Evelyn away.
“Clive, don’t you dare? Don’t you even dare touch me”. She sobbed pointing her index finger at me.
“Clive here, is the father of my kids, Harriett and Harry”. Evelyn landed massaging my shoulders in a romantic way.
“WHATTTT”. Everyone said.

All these while,I thought I was the only son . This is so surprising. I have two siblings.
“Please leave,party is over”. I said ushering our guests out.
So they won’t see the mess my family is in.
“Mom,calm down”. I held her shoulders. She was sweating and crying. Her eyes were puffy and red.
“Clive, you’ll pay for what you did to me, I loved you and I never cheated on you”. She sobbed tirelessly.
“Janelle,give me another chance”. Father went on his knees.
I watched my step-siblings smile as if they’ve just won a lottery.
“Get out now, Clive”. Mom said as I looked at her eyeballs. I assisted her to the chair so she won’t faint.
“Janelle? He said.
It’s actually Mom’s house, everything Dad lives on is from Mom’s investment. She made him who he is.
“Out? She avoided his eyes. I looked deep into her eyes and I saw hurt, pain,love and regret.
“How can she chase us out, I thought this house belongs to you”. The concubine said.
“Let’s just leave, Evelyn,let’s go..Harry, Harriett…let’s go”. Dad said
“Hey, Janelle… I’ll still show you the stuff I’m made of for doing this to me and my husband”. Evelyn said.
“Leave our house right now”. I ordered her as she dashed towards me htting me on the face.
Mom rushed from her seat and was about to start a fight when Dad came to the middle.
“Clive,I won’t tolerate such disrespect in my house,take your family and leave this instant”. Mom said sobbing hard.
Dad left the house with his other wife and kids.
Mom travels a lot and now I’m left alone in the big house with my own studio which is my only companion.
