I gathered courage and approached my parents.
“Mom, dad, I have been invited to a birthday party, can I go? “I said.
“Whose birthday party is that? “Mom asked.
“Nicolas, son to yhw former president”o said and could see the shocked expression on my parents face.
“Sophie, Sophie, Sophie how many times have I called you? “Mom asked.
“Three times”I said while trembling.
“You seem to be tired, go to your room and rest”mom said.
“But mom”I wanted to complain but I was cut short.
“Sophie, I and your mother trust you so much, don’t ever disappoint us, go to your room now”dad said and I reluctantly retreated to my room.
I lay flat on my bed, looking at the watch my grandma gave to me before she passed away.
“Grandma, tell me what to do, should I go or not? “I said with a sigh.
??THE DAY OF THE PARTY??
The house was decorated very beautifully. Invited guests we’re still to arrive.
“Where is Nicolas? “Asked Tionge, Nicolas’ father.
“He is over there, attending his friends “Emilia, his mother said.

Tionge approached his son.
“Son, is everything okey? “Asked Tionge.
“Yes, everything is fine, just that my best friends are not yet here”Nicolas said.
“Don’t worry, they will be here any minute”Tionge said as Nicolas continue attending to his friends.

I was about to go at jenny’s house when I saw her approaching our house.
“Sophie, are you busy? “She asked.
“Not really, why? “I asked.
“I and promise are going shopping and we want you to escort us”she said
“Why? Can you not go alone? “I asked.
“Come on, we will buy you your favorite biscuit “jenny said and I fell for it.
“Okey, let me change first”I run Inside the house and in no time we we’re at the bus stage.

Jenny told the driver to drop us to the nearest junctuon.
“Jenny, why are we stepping out of the bus on this stage? “I asked.
“We need to get another friend, he stays around here”she said.
In no time,I found myself in Michigan city, where wealthy people reside.
“Promise, jenny, what are we doing in this area? “I asked.
“Sophie, your making a lot of noise, we are already there so stay low”cautioned promise.
After walking for few minutes, we stopped in front of a very beautiful gate, more beautiful than the rest.
“What are we doing here? “I asked.
“A friend live here, “jenny said as she presses a button on the gate.
