“Here is where I do stay”I said to Nicolas shyly.
“Mh,that’s nice”he said.
Just then move and dad come out of the house.
“Good morning ma’am,good morning sir”Nicolas greeted them.
“Morning”mom and dad chorused.
“Am,mom,meet Nicolas,my …my friend”I introduced .
“Nice to meet you,we’ve heard more about you from Sophie”I said
“My pleasure”Nick said”am,I need to go or I will be late for classes”Nicolas said.
“Okey visit us often”dad said and Nick turned to go.
“Am,Nicolas”I called and he looked at me.
“Thank you about what you did earlier”I said with a smile and he smiled back before entering into his car and zoomed off.
“Young girl,what are you smiling?”mom brought me back to my senses.
“Its nothing”I said.
“Get inside now”mom said.
“Okey mom”I said while going inside the house.
?THE DAY OF THE FIRST EXAM PAPER ?
it was arleady past 7 am but Nicolas was still sleeping.
“Nicolas,woke up or you will be late for your exams”he said mother worked him up.
“Mom,leave me alone”he said turning the other side.
“Nicolas,what’s wrong with you?do you want to fail?”she asked him
“Who cares if I fail?even if I sit for the exams,I will still fail”Nick said.
“Nicolas,do what your mom is saying”his father said.
“But dad”
“Remember we made a deal,should I tell your mother bout it?”his father said. Nicolas relactantly woke up ,took a shower and went off.
He arrived 30 minites late but was allowed to seat for the exams. He took the question paper and pressed it on the desk then slept off.
?2 HOURS LATER?
“Nicolas,what nonsense was that?!”yelled Promise in anger.
“What have I done?”said Nicola.
“Like seriously,how could you hand in the paper when you’ve not written anything in it?”asked promise
“That’s non of your business”he said.
“It’s my business Nick,your my best friend,why are you ruining your future all because of love?”yelled promise.
“Thanks for your concern on my future,excuse me”he jumped into his car and zoomed off.
? SOPHIE POV ?
I entered the gate and was to enter the house when I overheard promise and Jenny’s conversation.
“Nicolas ,I cannot say anything anymore”promise said.
“People do fall in love,get heartbroken,forget and move in,why can’t we just forget about Sophie?how could he hand in an empty answer sheet?”Jenny said and my heart skipped.
“What?he did what?”I asked.
“Sophie,when did you come?”
“Answer me!did he do that all coz of me?”I said.
