Gabriel didn’t lock his locker, he hit it furiously, fumming about what has happened to him.
“Didn’t I tell you? That Ashley is something else. She hasn’t started yet.”
“She did all this by herself?” Gabriel asked.
“Nope, she cannot do all this by herself but hire students to do it. Ashley didn’t have a friend, there some students that works for her. She had hired them to deal those that receive the red card from her. They’re fearless, no mercy until Ashley tells them to stop tormenting you.” Adriana uttered and waved at a cleaner. “Clean this mess.” She ordered and dragged Gabriel out of lockers room.
“I need to teach that btch a lesson.”
“Don’t even think about it, she rules this school and no one dares question her authority. Even if she’s wrong there is no way you’re going to win because she witty.” Gabriel laughed thinking that Adriana was joking.
“Are you freaking kidding me? Who does that?”
“Just shut up and do as I say. Remember you are a commoner here not the president son. She’s Ashley Winston, the only daughter of the first richest man in the world. Don’t even think about it.”
“You’re making me feel inferior. I don’t care about myself but what about those innocent students she has humiliated?”
“Let’s forget about it like it never happened. Just focus on what you are here for and neglect her like she never exist.”
“Whatever.” He resisted the urge of rolling his eyes. “How can my secret superstar be in this h.ell.”
“She’s just hiding herself for some reason. Her songs always light up my heart. She might be a fatigue one.” Adriana shrugged her shoulder.
“I guess.”
“What if she’s a commoner, would you love her?”
“Don’t be so inquisitive lady.”
“Tell me, is it what I’m thinking?”
“I don’t care, she’s the reason why I’m here so what do think could be my answer?”
“Oh, she’s so lucky then. Let’s go now.” They ambled to the classroom and met Ashley on the same position as before. She was listening to music and close her eyes.
“Okay Gabriel.” Adriana patted his shoulder before heading to her seat.
Gabriel thought there would be another mess on his seat but no even a speck.

?Ashley?
“She has that innocent face yet she’s a devil in disguise.” I read his mind and a short smile appeared on my face.
“She’s annoying, not even sorry. I just want to get out of this h.ell.” I read his mind again. “I feel like str@ngling her this instant.”
“I dare you.” I mumbled still with my eyes close.
“Wh… What, what do you mean?” He shuttered. I rolled my eyes and scoffed. “Did you say something? He added.
“How noisy.”
“How noisy? Like seriously?” I opened my eyes and glanced at him.
“Yeah and shut up.”
“I can’t.”
“You can’t or won’t?” I lifted a brow.
“Whatever.”
I need know who the heck he is, no one dares question my words. How dare he questions me? I grabbed my phone and login the school private portal.
I scrolled down just about to read about him a voice interrupted. Mr history again? I hate that subject.

After the lesson, students headed out probably ready to go home. I stood up just about to take a step I saw a letter on the floor. That btch again! I picked it up and walked out. I dropped it inside the waste bin, I looked around and saw Gabriel staring at me.
He shook his head vigorously and I scoffed. I made my way toward the parking lot.
“Hey just a moment.” The voice I hated most. Myra not again. I swear I don’t want to hurt her but right now she left me no choice.
“Ah did you read my letter? I just want to tell you I’m sorry and promise to stay away from you if that’s what you want.”
“It’s Okay.” I tried to sound nice, despite the fact I know her motive toward me.
“You said Okay right? Oh gosh! Thank you Ashley, please I hope one day you’re going to give me a chance. I really want to be your friend.”
“Good luck then.” I tried to walk away but she held me back.
“One more thing…” I turned abruptly and tried to remove her grip.
“Let it go.” I uttered sternly.
“What if I don’t? Ashley… I removed her grip and pushed her. She hit her butt on the floor and cried out.
“Ouch!
“Ashley?” I heard Odette voice. What’s she doing here. G©sh I’m so dead.

?Kennedy?
“What do you have to say about that Pedro? If anything happens to my daughter I’m gonna kill you.”
“Remember she’s my daughter too and stop your empty threat. She’s safe anyway.” He rolled his eyes.
“Find a way to get me out of this place. I don’t know how you’re gonna do it, I just want to break free.”
“We are just waiting for the perfect time to strike in. Remember I’m doing this because of my daughter not for you.”
“Really?
“Yeah really.”
“What a gut? Uh…huh, so you don’t care about your baby mama, the one you always fk whenever you’re h©rny right?”
“I can’t deal with your shits.”
“Leave now.” I said sternly and he was taken aback.
“Say that again.”
“If you’re not ready to leave then I’m going to leave you.”
I stood up and walked away angrily. How dare he says all that to me? He has always been a gearhead from the beginning.
Back then, Pedro and I met in a club. We do have funs together, you understand what I meant right. I never knew he’s a weapon and a gangster. Due to Kyle’s bodyguard hit, I was unconscious for two days. They didn’t punish me because of my baby rather the handed me over to corps.
Pedro came to check on his worker, Ava. that was how we met in the prison, I told him about our baby though he never believed from the start until he did a DNA test which turned out positive. I gave birth to my daughter in the prison later Pedro came for her and bailed his work.
To short the story, Pedro works for me now and my aim is to avenge!
It has been the only lullaby I ever known, and I’d surely get them down including Odette. She’s the reason why I don’t have mother, she’s the reason why Kendra left me. I will never forgive her not in this world.
