EPISODE 11
The next morning, Kira has woken up by the ring of her phone. She stretched her arm at the top of the bedside table and searched for her phone.
Kira took her phone and answered the call with her eyes closed.
“Hello?” Kira answered in her groggy voice.
“Did I wake you up?”
Kira’s eyes instantly open when she heard the familiar voice of a man from the other line. Her heart skipped a beat again!
‘Wait!’
‘Am I hearing things?!’ She asked herself.
“Who’s this?” Kira asked with her knitted brows.
She wants to make sure if her suspicion is right.
“Oh, you can’t recognize my voice,” The man in the other line said with bitterness.
“It’s me, Tim,” The man added.
Kira instantly raised her body
She was right. She gulped before she spoke.
“H-How did you know my number?” She asked.
“I am Timothy Tan, remember?” Tim said in a calm voice.
“I have my way of knowing every little thing about you,” He added.
“Oh, Yeah,” Kira scratches her head.
“How could I forget about that,” She mumbled..
“Why did you call, anyway?” Kira asked after a while.
“I called to ask if I can meet Yana today?” Tim said.
“Oh,”
Kira remembers the conversation of her and Tim the last night.
“A-Alright,” Kira did not refuse.
“Thanks!”
“I am going to fetch both of you at 10 A.M,” Tim said.
“Both of us?” Kira’s eyes lit up!
Kira’s excitement arises!
“Ennn…” Tim nodded.
“You have to come too, this is the first time for Yana and me to meet, so, you have to come too, I might need your help,” Tim added.
“Oh,” Kira’s shoulder’s instantly dropped!
‘He wants me to come because he might need me.’
‘It’s not because he wants to see me too.’ Kira felt disappointed.
‘Why are you disappointed, Kira?’ Kira questioned her self.
‘Why?’
‘Did you expect that he might miss you?’
‘Tsss… stop being delusional!’
‘Even if Tim doesn’t have another woman for the past four years, it doesn’t mean that he is not yet over you!’
Kira patted her cheek to wake up from reality!
“Alright,” Kira tried to sound natural, even though she felt disappointed.
“Thanks!” Tim said and then followed by silence.
“Is… there anything else?” Kira asked when she did not hear Tim from the other line.

‘I miss you,’ Tim wants to say to Kira, but he just couldn’t do it.
He doesn’t know why, but he felt like his tongue was stuck whenever he wants to say those words to her.
Tim tightened his grip on his phone, “N-Nothing else,” He said.
“I-I have to go,” Tim added.
“Ennn…” Kira agreed.
Tim ended his call. He then touched his ?h?st.
He can feel the fast beating of his heart.
Only hearing her voice make his heart going chaos!

Kira stared at her phone. She couldn’t deny the excitement to see Tim later.
‘Oh, he still makes me feel nervous!’
“Mommy…”
Kira’s deep thoughts were interrupted when Yana woke up.
Kira turned her head beside her, ” Hey, baby!” She said with a smile on her face.
“Did you sleep well?” Kira asked her daughter.
Yana nodded her head a few times.
“Very good!” Kira carried her daughter’s hair.
“Come, get up!” She said as she ?ssisted her daughter.
“We’re going to meet someone today,” Kira said.
“Are we going to meet Santa?” The child asked innocently.
Kira smiled at her daughter, “No,” She replied.
“We’re not going to meet Santa, but,” Kira paused as she touched Yana’s chin.
“We’re going to meet someone as nice as Santa,” Kira added.
Yana clapped her hands happily!
“Yehey!” Yana is still an innocent child, so, she didn’t ask too many questions to her mother about the “Someone as nice as Santa,”

Kira takes a look at Yana.
She smiled when she felt satisfied with her daughter’s look.
The little kid was wearing a peachy beaded applique tutu dress.
Her hair was braided which made her looked like a cute little princess.
“Oh, our little Yana looked like a princess!” Aileen exclaimed as she saw the little girl.
Yana revealed a wide smile as she claps her hand when she heard granny Aileen told her she’s like a princess!
Kira smiled.
She then turned her head to Aileen.
“Auntie, Yana and I are going to meet someone,”
“Alright,” Aileen replied.
“Auntie, it’s weekend, are you going to see your son?” Kira asked.
Aileen froze for a moment, it took her a few seconds before she was able to respond, “Y-Yes, I am going to see him,”
“Oh, that’s good then,”
“Will you be okay to go there alone?” Kira asked again.
“Yes, Don’t worry about me,” Aileen said.
“Okay, auntie, good luck. I hope that the two of you will be okay,” Kira said.
“I hope so too,” Aileen replied.
Just then, Kira’s phone rung!
Kira took the phone from her bag and answered the call.
“Hello?”
“Hey,” It was Tim!
“I am already outside your apartment.” He said.
“Oh!”
“Yes, we will be there in a few minutes!” Kira replied.
“Alright,” Tim said.
Kira put down her phone and she ended the call.
She then took her compact to check if her light makeup is alright.
‘It’s all good!’ Kira put back her compact in her bag before she took Yana and got out of the house.
Aileen couldn’t hide the smile on her face as she watched Kira.
‘Uh, this kid seems to be in love!’ She said inside.
‘But what about Drake?’ Aileen couldn’t help but ask.
She has witnessed the relationship between Kira and Drake. They may have stayed as friends, but she can see that Drake has a special feeling for Kira.

Tim knocks his finger on the steering wheel. He is restless as he waited for Kira and Yana in his car.
He felt anxious, thinking for Yana’s reaction if they meet.
After a while, Tim stopped knocking his finger on the steering wheel when he saw Kira with Yana.
Tim’s gaze fell to Kira. His heart thumped so fast. She was wearing a powder blue jumpsuit, which complemented her slim body.
‘Oh, sweetheart, you are as beautiful as always!’ Tim exclaimed inside.

In the other part of the Capital City,
The men in black are standing near the helipad as they looked up the sky. The noise from the helicopter could be heard from above them.
“Chuff, chuff, chuff”
The men in black stepped back as the helicopter landed.
The men in black together with their leader waited for standstill as if they are waiting for someone to get off.
After just a few minutes, an old man supporting himself with his wooden cane got off the helicopter.
The men in black’s leader revealed a wide smile as he approached the old man, “Welcome back, boss!” The leader said to the old man.
The old man just smirked, “It good to be back,” He said mysteriously.
The leader turned his head to his men, “Go and get the car!” He ordered.
“Yes, sir!” One of the men replied.
He then hurriedly followed their leader’s command.
“So, how was your stay abroad?” The leader asked the old man.
“It was so boring,” The old man replied.
“All I could think during my stay there was my plans,” The old man added.
The leader shoved both of his hands in his pockets.
“Don’t worry boss, we are taking a close look at them, We even found your main target,” The leader said.
The old man’s gaze sharpened, “Good, Just make sure that we are not going to fail this time!” He said with his deep voice.
The car arrived, the leader and the old man rode into the car.
The other men rode into another car and followed their leader.
“Let’s stop by in the cemetery before going to my house,” The old man said.
“Alright boss!” The leader said.

At the cemetery,
The old man stood in one of the glass stands with the urn on top of it.
“I’m back, and this time, I won’t fail!” The old man’s gaze sharpened.
