? Dana’s POV ?
“Jason?” I called again as he cringed and came forward.
“Um..hi” he said and looked at Barry.
“I think I’ll leave you two together” Barry said and left.
“Em..Jason you see…”
“I know, I know you like him, its alright really, I’m cool with it, I only got to like you when you suddenly became beautiful.”
“I don’t really deserve you so its fine, I’m happy being your friend” he cut me off and explained.
“Jason, I am sorry” I apologized.
“Its alright Dana, I’m totally cool with everything” he answered and I nodded.
“Did you get to meet him? I was actually on my way to see you, everyone is talking about how you turned out to be his lost daughter, is that true?” He inquired.
“Yes, Jason, its true” I answered and he smiled.
“I’m happy you got to meet your dad, you are no longer an orphan from this day onward, I’m really happy for you” he cooed and I smiled.
“Thanks so much Jason, you’re the best actually, you’re cool” I smiled and he nodded and held my hand.
“Lemme hand you over to Barry officially” he teased and I laughed.
“You’re cr@zy, what do you mean hand over officially?”
He also laughed as we left the passage.
Fouryearslater.
I stood in front of the mirror with a sword with me.
I was to slash the mirror without breaking it.
Its seems like an impossible task, its originally an impossible task but its gonna be possible right now.
During these four years, I’ve learnt a lot about all these supernatural stuff.
I’ve also gotten two extra mano.
Its happened when I left dream world.
I was on my way to a mission and bumped into a guy and a girl who mistakenly touched the book and of course got powers.
Barry and I have come a long way.
Everyone knows we’re couples and we are the most respected here.
Well Jason remains my best friend.
He has learnt how to control his powers in just four years.
He was eager to go back to his family and that was way he trained day and night and now he has officially mastered his abilities.
I raised the sword up and then fixed my eyes on the mirror then I slashed it but of course the sword broke the mirror into pieces.
I have to make sure the sword pass through the mirror without a scratch on it.
But all my efforts are resulting to one thing.
I used my powers to fix back then mirror then stayed in a position to try again.
I raised my hand up with the sword and targeted the mirror ready to slash it again when a familiar voice stopped me.
“You really have to concentrate on that, you have to see it in a different way, make sure you conclude within yourself that the mirror gets slashed without getting broken” the familiar voice advised and I turned to see him.
Dad. Mr Anthony.
Now everyone knows his name and he doesn’t stay hidden in a room for months and come out only once a year.
We even sleep in the same room most times.
To conclude it all, we have gotten really close.
“Dad” I called and wiped sweats off my face.
“Do it again,bear in mind what I taught you just now” he ordered and I nodded then concentrated on it.
I slashed the mirror but the same result, its broke into pieces.
“Again” I heard him command again and I did it but failed.
“Again!!”
I continued doing it and got really tired.
“I can’t really do it” I gave up feeling really exhausted.
“Again” he commanded for the hundredth time and I did it reluctantly and that was when the sword passed through the mirror and the mirror didn’t break.
My eyes widened immediately as I turned and starred back but didn’t find my dad but Jason there.
“Hey, you did it” he cooed and I smiled then dropped the sword and walked up to him.
“Yea I did” I replied and heard him sigh.
“Congrats” he congratulated.
“Dana, I’ll be leaving later today, I’ve spoken to the dean, he has tested me and told me to come back later, so I’ll be leaving today” he announced and my chest dropped.
“Huh, so soon?” I questioned and he nodded.
“Yes, I’ve really missed my family tho I enjoyed staying here, especially with you, I’ll be going back today” he responded.
“I’ll really miss you” he added then embraced me.
I felt reluctant embracing back.
I didn’t like the idea of him leaving, I’ve gotten so used to him.
“I’m sorry” he cooed then disengaged from the hug.
“I don’t want you to see me off.”
“We’ll meet again some other time.”
“I wish you and Barry a happy ending.”
“He loves you a lot, I’ve seen it in him, I wish your relationship goes beyond this.”
“Bye” he added then turned and left.
“Bye” I muttered then turned back and continued my sword play.
I wish I can tell him to stay but he misses his family a lot.
He has been my only friend, my only true friend.
Its unfortunate we parted this way.
I wish him success, I’ll also miss him a lot.
“Aren’t you tried?” I heard another familiar voice ask and I turned back to see him.
Barry.
I smiled then dropped the sword then ran and embraced him.
Thank goodness he is not leaving me.
And I know for sure that our relationship is not gonna end here.
It’ll really go beyond and we’ll surely have a happy ending.
