? Dana’s POV ?
We returned to dream world and there were different students standing outside.
Amongst them was Jason.
“Jason!” I called and he immediately came out and embraced me.
“Hey, how’re you doing?” He asked starring at me.
“I’m fine” I answered.
“I heard what happened to you Dana, I’m sorry I wasn’t there to help” he cooed and stared at Barry.
“Its okay, everything is okay” I replied.
“I heard you helped her too, thanks” he said to Barry and Barry just nodded.
“Let’s go, the teachers wanna see you, they said its urgent” Jason said and I looked at Barry.
“Later” I told him and left with Jason beside me.
We got into the castle and there was that lady in black and miss Aurora.
“Dana, follow us” the woman in black commanded and they started leaving.
I followed them from behind and soon we got to a strange office.
It wasn’t really like an office tho.
I got in and saw someone there.
Hold on, I think its that man.
The one the demon said its my father.
Is it really true?
Like my own father? My biological father? I wondered.
“Come on” he gestured to me and I went closer to him.
“How’re you feeling now?” He asked but I just nodded and continued starring at him.
“Sit” he commanded and I wondered where to sit because there weren’t any sit around.
“Um..where should I sit sir?” I questioned.
“Just sir, sit down” he replied and I gulped and started squatting and finally found out that there was a sit there, an invisible sit.
I sat down and fixed my eyes on the floor.
I noticed he also sat down not too close to me, but close enough to touch him.
“Do you believe all Deli said?” He started and I raised my eyes and starred at him.
“I don’t no what to believe” I answered him.
“Do you have parents over there?” He asked.
“No, i grow up as an orphan” I replied.
I heard him sigh bitterly.
“All he said is actually true, I just pretended not to know, maybe I just couldn’t believe that fact or I wanted to hide it” he said and my eyes widened.
“They are true? You mean you’re my father? My biological father?” I asked pointing at myself.
“Yes, I’m sorry for not clearing things up early, I didn’t no how to start it or end it” he responded and I stood up on my feet.
“Excuse me? You mean you actually know that I’m your biological daughter but you refused saying anything? You wanted to keep the truth hidden?” I asked feeling really bitter.
“Dana?” He called and looked up at me.
“Not that I want to keep it hidden forever, I only found out yesterday when you were being controlled by Deli, I’m sorry if you feel bad about it, I just don’t no how to go about it” he responded.
“No, I’m not gonna forgive you, why did you leave me, where is my biological mom? Why did you both leave me to suffer alone?”
“You’re alive and healthy, why didn’t you come look for me? You actually felt it wasn’t necessary up till date??” I cracked up feeling so betrayed.
“If only you know how long I’ve been wishing to at least meet a relative, all my life I’ve been treated like dust, like I was nothing, do you know how bad that felt??” I cried.
He stood up on his feet and held my hand.
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t hiding because I wanted to, I thought you died actually, I never knew Deli tricked me until the last moment, I felt too ashamed to face the world, I couldn’t save your mom or you, I just had to hide away, I’m really sorry” he apologized.
I freed my hand from his and dried my tears.
“I still won’t forgive you.”
“I won’t” I hushed then turned and left him there.
Mere sorry can’t heal the wound I carry.
It’s can’t.
