CHAPTER 17
Kimora’s room**
She got back from the festival very late cos Ginelle got drunk and she had to jointly carry her home with Tania before coming back to the palace
She sat on the bed tiredly, thinking of her conversation with Jimin, she smiled when she remembered he smiled all through
His eyes are mesmerizing and anytime their eyes meet, get heart skips more than a beat
She kept smiling, reminiscing about it till she remembered his allergy and illness.
“It’s the first time I’m hearing about allergy to rainwater” she thought
” And his narcolepsy….the kiwi tree got burnt already…what do I do?” She asked herself, standing up and pacing around the room
“I badly want to help” she told herself
“The right time is coming, just be patient” the voice said in her ears
She jerked up immediately
“Right time?” She asked
“Yes, when you get used to the powers you possess”
“I possess powers?” She asked and she immediately remembered what she did to lioness the other time
“It doesn’t feel like I did it, I transformed into something else before doing that” she replied
” That something else is your real self” the voice said
” What!” Kimora said, walking to the mirror
“Yes… child” the voice replied
She got to the mirror and shockingly she has transformed
“Who am I?, I need to know who I really am” she said, staring at herself
” Exactly what you saw in your dreams”
” Prince Jimin’s guardian?”
” Yes, you’re destined to protect him from the eyes of the evil ones in this palace and beyond… besides being his guardian, you’re also his….” The voice stopped
” His what?”
” You’ll find out that yourself…now you need to brace up, you have powers in you, exploit it and show the evil ones how powerful you are Kimora…a snap of your right fingers will transform you into your real self , then danger will transform you too”
” Danger?”
” When you’re in danger and have no way to snap fingers, your body will transform on it’s own”
” Oh…..but I really need to know myself” she said
” Soon, you’ll get to know,… I need to go right now” the voice said and everywhere went silent
” She’s gone” Kimora said and looked at the mirror again
She snapped her fingers and transformed back to her normal self
She snapped her fingers again and changed to the white girl
She walked back to her bed and sat
“I’m still confused” she thought.

Next day**
Princess Royalty just finished taking a walk with her maids and is just returning into the palace when she sighted Cory , he’s coming from the opposite side
“Cory?” She said
“Your highness” he bowed
“Uhhm…you’re from France right?” She asked
” Yes your highness”
” Can you be my French teacher?” She asked, smiling shyly
” Your highness I’m not allowed to come closer else I’ll get killed” he replied
” By who?, It’s my order, be my French teacher” she said and pulled his arm
” Your highness” he said, restraining..
“I just said it’s an order, you’re disobeying me?” She said
” Oh no .. it’s not that way your highness, I…
” Shut up and come with me” she interrupted and pulled him to her room, closing the door behind
“Don’t be scared, just feel relaxed and teach me what I asked of you, or should I kneel and beg first?” She said and made to kneel but he held her arms, preventing her from doing that
” Gosh…his hold” Royalty thought, biting her lip slightly, staring at his eyes
Cory quickly let go of her and bowed
“Sorry for touching you your highness” he said
“Teach me french” she smiled.

” Out of my way!” Suzy said loudly as she entered her room
The maids that are already waiting with her diner stepped aside as she entered, breathing heavily
She witnessed Royalty pulling Cory into her room and can’t help but feel angry
“I hate everyone!!” She screamed, blocking her ears with her palms
” She remembered the scene again and went to the maids
She grabbed the plates and started breaking it angrily one after the other till she broke it all
“Out of my room!* The yelled and the maids scurried out of her room

Queen Rachel smiled when she saw queen Sera coming in the opposite direction, Sera is just coming out of the king’s chamber while Rachel is just going
“Loser” Rachel said, stopping in front of her
Their respective maids are behind them..
“Get out” Sera replied
“That word is for you and your son, you’re both getting kicked out of this palace soon” she said
” And you think your son will stand a chance to stay?, Stop trying to make me laugh it’s not funny” Sera said bluntly.
” When I’m talking, a concubine should learn how to keep shut” Rachel said
Sera moved closer and smiled before speaking…
“A concubine has more value than a whore” she said and Rachel went mute
Sera stepped back and smiled before walking away.

Kitchen**
“Janis is waiting for you in front of your room” Tania said to Kimora who’s busy supervising the making of prince Jimin’s candies
“Janis?, Just supervise till I’ll be back” she replied and left the kitchen
She met Janis in front of her room like Tania said and frowned
“You left without saying anything to me last night” she said
” I’m sorry I was just… I had headache and I had to quickly rush home” he lied and her eyes widened
” Headache?, Are you ok now?” She asked and quickly touched his head to feel his temperature
“You’re not having fever” she said and he smiled
“Do you care a lot about me?” He asked
” Of course, come you need to drink medicine so the headache won’t persist” she said, pulling him into her room
She poured a medicinal herb into a cup and handed it to him
“Drink it all” she said
Immediately he started drinking it, he spit it out
“It’s bitter!”
“Drink it or I’ll stop talking to you” she said and he quickly gulped it down
She smiled and took the cup from him
“Shot!, I need something sweet to take the taste off my lips” he said
“Lady Kimora it’s time to serve the prince!” A maid’s voice said by the door
” I need to go” she said and made to leave but Janis hugged her from behind
She gasped in shock and felt uncomfortable
“Janis…I… need to go” she said slowly
He pecked her hair before releasing her
“I’ll wait here till you’re done so we can go watch the stars together” he said and she nodded before leaving the room.
She Inhaled hard as she walked back to the kitchen, smiles took over her face when she remembered she’s going to serve Jimin
*I haven’t seen him since daybreak” she thought.

Jimin’s room**.
He’s having the dream again and this time he’s busy calling out to his guardian
“Guardian!” He shouted, looking around for her
No sign of her at all
“Guardian!” He shouted again, moving forward
“I’m here!, It’s prince Jimin!” He shouted
” Is she not coming today?” He wondered loudly
“Sorry for keeping you waiting, I was braiding my hair” she replied beside him and he quickly looked back to see her
She’s much more beautiful today again, she had her hair braided by the right and crystal balls were attached to it, she looks gorgeous
Her pink eyes looks even more beautiful
He was dumbfounded as he walked closer to her
“Wae?” She asked
“You’re so beautiful” he whispered, holding her face in his palms, rubbing her cheeks with his thumbs
“Jimin?” She said as his eyes landed on her lips
Her long lashes battled with each other as she blinked severally
Jimin bent over and crashed his lips on hers ..
END OF DREAM**
Jimin woke up sweating with the usual headache again
He touched his lips unbelievably
“I.. . kssed her..” he whispered and Immediately, Kimora came in with his candies
” Your highness” she smiled, coming in fully
His head spun and he can’t seem to able to think straight..
He rushed to her and grabbed her shoulders roughly, shocking Kimora
The plate of candies fell from her as he slammed her back hard on the wall
It hurts so much that a little tear escaped her eyes immediately
“Your highness..” she whispered, staring at his beautiful eyes
“Who are you!” Jimin yelled harshly
“I….I… dunno” she stammered, allowing more tears to fall
Jimin’s eyes suddenly caught her neck and he’s beyond shocked to see the same necklace he gave to his guardian in the dream
He held her more tightly, hurting her more
“Ah!” Kimora whimpered
“Who the he¢k are you!” He yelled again
“Your highness…. it’s me… Kimora” she said slowly, still crying
That brought him back to his senses and he quickly released her
He’s shocked to see tears on her face
“Kimora?” He said
She ran out of the room immediately…
