CHAPTER 45
Kitchen**
” Bang!” Cory said, entering the kitchen, only Tania is there since they aren’t cooking any meal right now
“You have a knack for scaring me right?, Weirdo” she said
” The wedding was sad, I came to grab some wine” Cory said, taking a bottle of wine
” I didn’t attend but I heard it wasn’t fun, just like burial, I heard the prince was moody throughout” she replied
Cory came close and she bent back. “You look beautiful in this occasional robe” he whispered and she turned to a tomato immediately, blushing hard
“What… are you doing you’re too close…” She said, marching his feet, he stepped away
“Ouch!, You’re harsh” he said
“You asked for it” she replied and her eyes widened
” I’ve not seen Kimora since she left in the morning” she said and left the kitchen
Cory followed her and they left for her room together
“Kimora!” She beckoned, entering her room but she’s not there
“Did she go back into the forest to look for herbs?, Or is she with Ginelle?” She wondered, coming out but she stopped when she saw a note on her drawing table
She came back for it and took it
? I think I’m dying soon ? was written on it
Her eyes widened… “Kimora..” she muttered and ran out
Cory is still waiting…
“What does this mean…what does it mean” she said shakily, giving him the note
” Where’s she?” He asked after reading it
“She’s not in….my Kimora is not in where’s my friend!” She shouted fearfully
” Is this her handwriting?” Cory asked
“No it’s not, someone definitely wrote this and maybe…took her away… she’s sick and weak….who took my friend” she replied
” Kidnap?” Cory said

Rachel’s room**
The maid came in slowly, making sure no one saw her, Rachel is waiting already
“Are you sure you did it?” Rachel asked
“Yes your highness, I did it just like you instructed” she replied
” But why isn’t she dead already, did I give you the slow poison instead?” She said and checked her drawer
The fast killer is there, .. ” I gave you the slow poison….well it’s still cool, no antidote, she’ll die after the poison would have eaten deep into her intestines.. and you….” She grabbed the maid’s neck and she trembled
” If anyone hears about this, you’re dead, I should have killed you, I didn’t because you’re my most trusted maid, understood?” She said
” Yyy…y…yes your highness” she stuttered and Rachel released her
She left the room and rushed to her room where she started crying immediately
She’s the senior among Rachel’s maids and she luckily got to be among the maids that’ll be serving wine at the wedding and when she was assigned to Sera, Rachel gave her poison and forced her to vow to add it to Sera’s wine
It’s the first time she’ll be serving Sera so she has no idea of the wine she takes, she just took one of the most expensive and served her, only for her to say it’s not her usual type then swap with Royalty
She sat on the ground and cried bitterly
“Princess Royalty is too kind to die…. She’ll die cos of me, she gave me a lot of robes and she’s always so kind, when father was sick she gave me money for his medicine, how can I be so cruel” she cried silently
She sniffed sorrowfully and stood
“I don’t deserve to live, I don’t” she said, running to the guards chamber to get a rope.

Jimin’s room**
Jimin is sitting in the bathtub silently, he’s not crying out but in the inside, she’s broken
The water covered his head, he’s not wearing anything besides his short white garment knicker
The slow sounds of water bubbles is the only sound in the bathroom, it’s dead silent
He closed his eyes in the water, placing his palms on the edge of the tub
This day is surely the saddest day he has ever encountered
His head is behaving like it’s gonna burst anytime soon and the fact that Kimora will be insanely hurt or even crying right now is driving him insane and he just wishes to curse himself
He’s weak and sick, feeble and powerless right now, he looks vulnerable and yes, he is…
The sight of Riya disgusts and annoys him, he hates her!, So much that he feels like killing her..
“My fate is cruel..our fate is callous” he thought, letting out tears but the water swallowed it all
Cory came in immediately, he literally barged in, breathing heavily
“She’s not with Ginelle, she’s not in the forest nor her room, there’s a strange note in her room…I mean lady Kim” he said in a hurry
Jimin rushed to stand, he hurried out of the tub and took the note from him, he read it and faced Cory
“What the he.ll…is this?” He said, feeling like life has been blown out of his body.

” You did a good job, I just want to see Jimin suffering for a while” Cal said to Darrin on getting to the hideout
” She’s inside” Darrin replied
“Bring her out, I should wound her first” Cal ordered and Darrin went in, he came out with weak Kimora whom he threw on the ground like a doll
She fell weakly, her body is shaking visibly
She was captured so easily cos it seems like as the wedding was going on, she lost more and more powers, she was lying helplessly weak on her bed and couldn’t move a finger
So when Darrin came in, he took her away easily, she couldn’t even move, her powers seems impotent that moment till now and it seems the whole world is against her
Petal isn’t even helping
Cal smiled, bending beside her . “You’re so unlucky to get involved with Jimin” he said and drew her hair, making her face him forcefully
” I’ll make you cry” he said and dropped her head, she fell back feebly
He walked to where her two hands are lying, he stood on them with his hard shoes that has small nails at the sole
“My hands!!!!” Kimora screamed with the remaining strength in her… Tears rushing down her pale sickly face…
